I have had a Korean explain that Christmas in S.Korea is very different than in the US. Instead of being a family holiday, it is a couples holiday. Couples spend the day together and exchange gifts while single people hide out at home and sleep the day away and don't go out because there are too many couples everywhere. But the kids so the Santa thing like we do That adds new meaning to some of the lyrics as well since the SKZ (at least officially) are all single since their job as an Idol is to be "available" for the girls in their fan base.
