Adding Minnows // (Ep. 3) Bonsai Paludarium 2 Week Update

- The 2 Week update:
I properly cycled my tank (google Aquarium Nitrogen Cycle).
Once cycled, it was time to add fish!
I chose White Clouds because they don't need a heater, are very hardy, and have a "natural" appearance to them (not glow-fish-like).
Chief, our single Cherry shrimp, was added as a test to see how Neocaridinia shrimp will fare in this tank.

I love the “previously on” type intro at the beginning. So good
Awaiting the next video!
Still one of the most beautiful tanks I've ever seen, love it and the progress I've seen to it
Chief! What a good name for a little shrimp.

Great update. Tank is looking good. I started with mountain minnows in my tank too. They are hardy. Good luck with the cherry chief. Thanks for keeping us posted.

I'm newly subscribed and watched all of your videos. This channel is fantastic and you deserve to do well. I hope your success continues.
That was beautiful. Im making my own but not with fish. I don't want to stress any fishes.
Instant favorite RUclips channel.
The editing and camera shots is really good.
Well done Rocco! Keep at it my brother.
Man your video skills are awesome, keep up the cool stuff
I'm still waiting for the next videos!! Please upload :D
Looks great. I'm jealous at your creativity with the rocks and overall hardscape. i wouldn't say that frequent water changes are key at first. If you're trying to establish a bacteria colony, you don't want to change your water just yet. You'd test and check that ammonia is going down, and at the same time you should see nitrites going up , then nitrites going down and nitrates going up. Then and only then would you know your cycle is complete and do your water changes to remove nitrates. Two weeks is a little two early but i'm sure you probably used supplemental bacteria on this.
Love this! Wow
Awesome! Keep it up!
You should continue uploading your tutorials on youtube man. Vid's great.
Gorgeous video, wish I had your video skills. Just setup my 10g aquaponics aquarium, but would love a Paludarium in the future!
Love the process and outcome! I’m interested in making a paludarium myself (in the process of researching) Do you need a heater, filter, and air pump for the fish in this tank? Or do these fish not need anything but the flow of the waterfall and trickle? I’m also confused as to what the access box holds. Looking forward to hearing back from you!
Nice start to the Channel. Looking foward to seeing more and a great job with this tank. Would love to see some links to things you bought for this including plants
Inspiring, this is great
Episode 4 needed
So beautiful!! I would love to do something like this!

@Naturescapes by Rocco Z checking in.
You started off with an amazing build, how are you doing and how is the paludarium, a year later?
i just got emtionally attached to a SHRIMP sHrImP... dont die chief
We need a follow up
New sub, amazing video
Need episode 4
I wish you made more videos ):
Great vídeo!! I think i'll try to do mine! I have some questions that you mau answer me.
How are tou filtering the water? By using an standard acuarium pump would be enough?
For soil /dirt cleaning are you doing as per an acuarium?
T'he stone you're using is having some special properties? Can I use regular natural river stones?
Thank you very much, ans great job.
Looks Great! So you only used RoDi water in the Tank and Even with waterchanges rodi??
hey is there an update on the tank? love it :)
Could you do a vid on your lighting system?
Wonderful, do you still have this setup?
how are the fish and the shrimp cherry?
Absolutely love this theme 😍, great imagination. You could have chosen neon tetra - the vibrant color scheme would suite this landscape also instead of cherry red shrimp i would prefer ghost shrimp.
Lovely theme ALL THE BEST
please tell me how you did that that the water from the watercourses does not seep through the moss into the tree. I was inspired by you and I did the same, but the moss keeps running into the pot. The ground is wet all the time and it won't do well for the tree ...
Updte agin please. After 2 month
Is there anything besides youtube I can follow you on? Very interested in keeping up with updates!
Such a talented guy.... What a beautiful tank setup..... All these for those dirty little fishes?
What a tank !
Do you use co2?
How you maintance this aquatium with fish and without filter?
I'm tryna make something similar, but with only a small waterfall in a 20L tank. Do you 'lost' water with days, like, does the water evaporates ?
New video?
Update pls
What kind of lamp do you have?
Imagine being a fish and being put in this beautiful tank
What spray foam did you use?
You chose the wrong stone, for more natural look use seiryu stone or ohaku or elephant stone etc
I can do this set up too but first I need to ne rich as fuck
What happened to the author, is he still alive?
Still alive! just unable to finish other videos lately.
Please don’t put the shop water into your aquarium very bad for your system and could introduce disease and poisons into your aquarium please watch other fish keepers such as MD fish tank. Great build otherwise
