Yes 6 months- 1 year later everything does go back. Thank you for that realistic statement. On my 3rd child. Ladies be gracious with yourself and aim for health.
My favorite part of this video was seeing you STRUT AND SMIIILLEEEE 💕 You are always doing for others ( which I understand is also for you ) but it was just nice to see you do some self love and show off what is making you feel comfortable lately! I know you don't waste a lot of money but would love to see you have a spa day. I'm an esthetician and I LOOOVE caring for moms that come into the spa. They really need it! They do a weekend get away and splurge at the spa, usually a whole Journey which is Body scrub and wrap, massage and facial. It totally revitalizes them 💕💕
6-12 months? 😳 You already have a perfect figure exactly as you are in this video. My goodness! You look FANTASTIC, ESPECIALLY after 7 babies. Teenagers can only wish to look like you!
I love how you make everything look easy and stylish. I tend to over think everything! You have such a calm and easy going nature. Thank you for sharing your life and ideas with us.
Lisa, you are so beautiful inside and out. Nothing on you is massive. I love that you don’t even look like you just had a baby. My youngest is almost 7 months and My postpartum belly was sooo hard to dress and now found out I’m 8 weeks with baby number 6. So I’m learning to find a new “uniform” all over again.
Oh wow. I have a long torso, short legs, and athletic calves from decades of ballet. I must give those jeans a try. Thank you. Lisa, you always look beautiful.
Love your uniform this season. Great little video with practical tips for nursing postpartum mamas such as myself. Can’t wait to implement some of the ideas.
I loved seeing the family photos! So precious! If you’re ever looking for podcast ideas I’d love to hear you do one with your mom and hear her take on how she raised you and now seeing the “Proverbs 31” woman that you’ve become ☺️
This is a FANTASTIC capsule this season. (and for the season of life you're in.) I've been wearing Madewell jeans that I thrifted for 4 years and finally needed to buy a brand new pair. It was an investment for sure but totally worth it. I've also been wearing Carly Jean for about 4 years and those basics, like the kimonos and v neck tees, are such a comfy go to that look a bit more polished and put together. I think you would really like Blundstone Chelsea boots. It was a suggestion from a friend of mine from BC. I finally invested in a pair this year because they are fully waterproof leather and are as functional as they are cute. I wear them all over our farm and then turn around and wear them to church after a quick wipe down.
I love Madewell! Specially the jeans. My mother-in-law introduced me to Madewell and described them as classy yet funky. Only downfall for me is they’re spendy and used items tend to have been worn out since they’re so good!
Thank you for this video!! Helps me look forward to postpartum in May. I think I can do similarly to what you did. You gave great examples!! Clothes can be so difficult to figure out, such an important part of feeling normal again!
Madewell is def an investment. I find that they are of good quality. Thanks for mentioning tye stovepipe. I was on the fence but I am getting them since we seem to have the same concerns with jeans. So happy with the straight jeans coming back!!
I’m currently 6 weeks pp myself and this is similar to what I’ve been wearing. I discovered your channel when I looked up how to tie the wrap and started to wear a tank top and cardigan like you did in that video! Makes it so easy!
You look so lovely: so happy and confident. You remind me of your younger daughter in some of these shots ❤️So beautiful, all of you! I love these videos and your delightful ideas. Wishing you and your family happy holidays. Thank you for sharing amazing content that I so look forward to. You and yours are an inspiration.
Huge calf (and thigh) girl over here too! I struggle to find jeans that fit my waist and legs at the same time since I'm bigger in my legs proportionally. When under the knee boots were big I struggled to find ones I could get over my calves 🤣🤣🤣 So happy to hear I'm not alone! I love Madewell, totally checking out that cut of jeans!
I know how hard this must have been to put together since I'm PP too. Around this time this summer I think I watched your last uniform vid for the winter like five times thinking maybe I could get it to work for me PP, but I came to the same conclusions as you! You can't really wear the bulky sweaters and nurse as easily (not to mention I don't like to wash mine much and you can't always avoid that daily spit up!). The things that are hard to find with this aren't always the big pieces but the little things like tanks that are long enough and will wear fine after all the tugging, and bras that aren't an arm and leg and aren't too tight but hide pads. You're radiant. Thanks for being honest and sharing, even though you look fabulous! ❤️
Such a helpful, inspiring video, Lisa, thanks!! I've been enjoying this pregnancy, homebirth, postpartum journey with you. My son was born just 3 weeks before yours. 🤗
You look fabulous! (I’m 59 and I’m STILL carrying that pouch and postpartum bulges.) Thank you for the idea of the jeans brand. I too deal with a long torso, (try getting a one piece bathing suit that doesn’t make you slouch to make it fit 🤦🏻♀️) with those wonderful short legs. I’ve never heard of this brand before. I dread when I have to look for jeans. Your winter wardrobe looks so comfortable and could easily fit anyone not just a new mommy. Thank you for wonderful content!
Oooooo i needed this and didn’t even realize it! My husband and I are going to start TTC our 4th baby and I was trying to figure out how I’d navigate colder weather with baby wearing. My other babies were all born when it was shorts and tank weather.
I love this video. Those skirts are so cute, and the jeans looks great on you. I love coming up with capsule wardrobe‘s for spring/summer and then fall/winter. I also kind of have a uniform that I’ve been working on. And it’s some sort of dress with leggings underneath it or skirt with leggings underneath it and then usually a formfitting top to show my waist because I love flowy skirts. and like a loose cozy sweater cardigan over the top if need be. Once you find what combo makes you feel good and looks good on your body it’s a lot easier to choose outfits. I’m rather straight so I love to do a flowy skirt to make me look a little more curvy. Plus flowy skirts are great for chasing kids and are comfy.
Lisa! Love the video! Madewell jeans are perfect. I buy mine second hand on Thred Up. It’s gentler on the budget, and their return policy makes it easy to send them back if they don’t work, exchange for a better pair.
So excited to see this. Baby #5 is due in April and i have decided that this go around I'm going to do jeans, tanks and tees and light sweaters like you have here. I've been gathering different color wraps to "accessorize" with so I can keep the tops basic. Lol. Wonderful video! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for this. I had a lot of clothing postpartum that was just wishful thinking. I'm finally going to a more kinimalist wardrobe, and this was a useful video for thinking about next postpartum period. I imagine it was for a lot of people!
Love this postpartum style, and even without the wrap you can keep wearing this style. I had trouble finding things in my comfortzone during my pregnancy and postpartum. Ever since becoming a mom more then 7 years ago I hardly wear the skinny jeans anymore; the waistline is not fitting since my belly streched out. so here in the netherlands a tupe of jeans called mom jeans are really popular right now. High waist or even ultra high waist, just a bit looser around the legs, perfect, though I wish they had them affordable not only in ankle length but a bit longer as well.
Love love love this thank you! I’m probably going to have to wear my next baby 99% of the time like you in a wrap so will eventually need ideas on how to dress with the wrap. I have the same thing with large calves and skinny jeans-this is why I either wear my levis once in a blue moon with boots or leggings all day. It’s apparently has something to do with the leg bone connecting to your ankles being shorter so your calves are bigger.
I love seeing your sweet babe!! I’m not postpartum but praying maybe by this time next year, Lord willing we’ll have another baby 🙏 The jean struggle is real! I’m short waisted and have no hips so my calves and thighs are huge in proportion, due to horseback riding all my life. Add to that my petite size and being short, finding a pair of jeans can about make me cry!
I have to agree with the others who've said you don't look like you've even had a baby recently let alone 7. I'm not a mom but do have that pouch as if I have. I also have a very short torso and short in stature so it's hard to get jeans right now in this high rise trend. I need mid rise but almost every single pair out there that I can afford is high rise or super high rise and even mid rise goes quite a bit above my belly button. I dress for what looks good on me and comfort regardless of trends. Also as someone who is disabled and chronically ill comfort is more than regular as for me comfort can make the difference in reducing symptoms or making things worse. I'm new to your channel but have truly enjoyed them this last month for the minimalism and simplicity that you show in your videos and even those who are not mom's can still get something out of it.
I have two boys and they both hated the wrap.😒 and I really really wanted them to like the wrap bc it would have made my life sooo much easier. Also you look amazing and your mom sounds really cool
I have just one and he was ok for about first month and a half in a wrap. Then he decided he preferes to be in his recliner and just watch the world around him...so I was carrying him around all the time. 🤣
No way! I have the same body type as you! Your style is always so cute. I have a 1yr old and am currently 14weeks pregnant. All I ever feel like wearing is leggings, so I love your idea of adding the skirt to look more put together. I’m definitely going to try this postpartum!! 😁👍🏼
Wow. Perfect timing! I have an 8 week old and I’m ready to lose the sweatpants and baggy T-shirt I’ve worn (literally) every day since birth. I threw the sweatpants away in a moment of resolve to look and feel a little better buuuutt…former clothes don’t quite fit & I don’t seem to remember how to shop or make outfits, lol. This video gave me some a good idea!
Bummer! The Madewell jeans are sold out! They look like they would’ve fit me perfectly, hopefully they come back in stock. Thanks for the ideas, Lisa, you look great!
Your so Beautiful Lisa. You don't look like you've had a kid. (Kids) so jealous 😭🤣 Love the outfits. Thank you for the inspiration. I've been downsizing my wardrobe so much and this just gives me all the feels and motivation. Happy Holidays and God Bless
I love this video!! So glad you did it because I love your style and I would have never known where to start. P.S. Madewell are my favorite jeans too!! Quality is great too. 👍🏼
I’m short but I have a long torso and short legs and skinny didn’t work for me either. But kohl’s has these mom jeans that I absolutely love. The are high rise, straight leg and fit nice without suffocating you. And since I’m short the cropped jeans look like regular size on me so it works!
I was an athlete and have the same large calf problem, Lisa! It can be so frustrating with jeans and some boots. I should try those jeans. Thank you for sharing!
You have a great figure!! Your wardrobe looks almost like mine. I have always been wearing my babies so tanks stretchy pants or jeans and an open sweater have been my everyday clothes since I started having them. If I can't nurse, then I can't wear it and my last baby is 1.5 years old but every now and then, he still wants to nurse. Comfortable is best and I just go for high end comfortable when going out.
All my young adult life I envied people who could wear jeans. I too have a long torso and short legs but back in the 70 - 80"s jeans didn't exist in petite larger sizes. Now they do and I live in them! Ha! I just tried leggings for the first time this year. Yeah old dogs can still learn new tricks! Thanks for your tips!
I am 7 weeks post partum with my second baby and I feel like I just can’t get it together. Your videos always give me a little glimmer of inspiration and hope- thanks, seriously needed this one!
Hey Lisa! Thanks for sharing!! I just wanted to say you look amazing. Not just your body (haha) but in this video particularly you look glowing. Not pregnancy glowing but new baby glowing and genuinely happy. :) I have been following you for a while now! Love all your videos and very inspiring.
I had my last baby 17 years ago and I'm still waiting for things to go back where they're supposed to be! 😄
🤣
Lol same here girl, I have been waiting for almost 19 year now and nothing 😆 🤣 😂
I bet you'd like the Simon Says nursing tanks. Small company, well priced but great fabrics and good simple design nobody else really has
Thanks for the info!
Yes 6 months- 1 year later everything does go back. Thank you for that realistic statement. On my 3rd child. Ladies be gracious with yourself and aim for health.
I wish that happened for me 😅 maybe next time, I was also going through an intense season of grief and loss while postpartum
Love another video about this for your new summer /fall baby!
I just love your channel, so relaxing, comforting, free of anxiety it's literally like my favorite movies Hallmark ❤️
Totally…
Thank youuu. Goodness sunshine on a rainy day… 🌞
I feel like when you find a pair of jeans that fit well… they’re worth every penny!! Glad you found some you like and are comfortable in!!
6-12 months? 😳
You already have a perfect figure exactly as you are in this video. My goodness! You look FANTASTIC, ESPECIALLY after 7 babies. Teenagers can only wish to look like you!
Well thank you!
Sooo true!
I agree!! Amazing body
I love how you make everything look easy and stylish. I tend to over think everything! You have such a calm and easy going nature. Thank you for sharing your life and ideas with us.
The boots look cute on you. You have a nice casual style.
Good ideas! The sage color of the wrap is great on you.
Oh thank you!

Not to discredit all of the effort & tips you're sharing, but seeing his tiny hand is just so precious! 👐
I just went and ordered that skirt in 2 colors. This is the exact style I've been gravitating to.
Lisa you look great. Jeans can be the hardest to fit right forsure. I love your style simple and cute!
You have great style Lisa, you always look put together.
All your clothes look super cozy!
You have the fiqure of a teenager!,amazing to think you have 7 kiddos. That baby is sooo precious!,those jeans are great
Lisa I just love watching your videos they inspire me!

This is precisely what I needed right now! 6 week old baby here aswell. Enjoying every day!
I enjoy a uniform approach as well. Makes shopping easier for me. Love your outfits💕
Look how big baby boy has got, love all your family life video's Lisa, thank you from Ireland. 🙏🇮🇪♥️🎅🤶🎄
Yes! I wore exactly this when I was postpartum at the beginning of this year 😃
I love Madewell! Specially the jeans. My mother-in-law introduced me to Madewell and described them as classy yet funky. Only downfall for me is they’re spendy and used items tend to have been worn out since they’re so good!
You look great! I love the idea of a uniform and I know the feeling of finding a good pair of jeans. Thank you for sharing 💛
You are looking back to normal. Lucky you. Take care and God bless!
Thank you for this video!! Helps me look forward to postpartum in May. I think I can do similarly to what you did. You gave great examples!! Clothes can be so difficult to figure out, such an important part of feeling normal again!
Thank you for this video! And also, thank you for linking items that don't break the bank (except for the jeans)! I so appreciate that!!
Madewell is def an investment. I find that they are of good quality. Thanks for mentioning tye stovepipe. I was on the fence but I am getting them since we seem to have the same concerns with jeans. So happy with the straight jeans coming back!!
Lisa!! You do not look like you’ve even had a baby!! You lost anything extra so fast… you look amazing 😉 Always love your capsule wardrobe videos!
Well thank you!
No kidding right!!! Not to.mention #7! she looks so beautiful. So and an incredibly young Momma
Couldn't agree more. 100% truth
Much less SIX BABIES>>>

Love your jeans and black boot look

You still have that pregnancy glow… very beautiful.
You are so cute! And you look great for 6 weeks postpartum. Definitely going to share with my Dixie who’s getting ready to have her baby!
You look amazing for just having a baby!! I am the same way love wearing a few favorite piece’s 😊
Loved your family photos❤Great wardrobe!
Great idea, we mothers must be comfy in clothes to do daily tasks!🎄
I seriously love the idea of a uniform. My closet needs another overhaul to get rid of the things I am not wearing! Thanks for the inspiration 😊
34 weeks and getting some great ideas. Thank you 😊
Huge calf (and thigh) girl over here too! I struggle to find jeans that fit my waist and legs at the same time since I'm bigger in my legs proportionally. I love all the different combinations. I have such trouble finding the right pair of jeans as well
great video. 😊❤️🇨🇦🎄🎄
Girl, I too am a member of the long torso, massive and short legs club 😂 I definitely appreciate that straight jeans are finally a thing again.
You look fabulous! (I’m 59 and I’m STILL carrying that pouch and postpartum bulges.) Thank you for the idea of the jeans brand. I think I really do have a postpartum uniform this winter 😂: thick leggings and a nursing camisole under a button-down flannel. It works🤷🏻♀️

Super cute! I love your style!
Great info. I always enjoy. Merry Christmas.
Thanks for the great ideas! I need to slim down my closet so this was great!
My goodness baby is getting big….just based on his little head in your wrap! You look incredible!
Love this postpartum style, and even without the wrap you can keep wearing this style. I had trouble finding things in my comfortzone during my pregnancy and postpartum.

Lisa! You always look great. I love your wardrobe choices and the “uniform” concept. Lots of love at Christmas to your beautiful family.🥰🎄
Great video! Love these options and ideas! I will be postpartum again soon, so I will be using these tips!

Been wondering if you would do a postpartum outfit/capsule video!!! I’m 2 weeks behind you in postpartum life. Thanks for doing this!
you're welcome!
I absolutely love this wardrobe! Thanks for sharing! How do you feel about wearing skirts and dressing postpartum?
My goodness Lisa, you look amazing.
The jeans are sold out haha look what you did Lisa! You look gorgeous love all these outfits
No way! I have the same body type as you! Your style is always so cute. I have a 1yr old and am currently 14weeks pregnant. All I ever feel like wearing is leggings, so I love your idea of adding the skirt to look more put together. I’m definitely going to try this postpartum!!
😁👍🏼
You look so healthy and beautiful.
You look great, Lisa!!!
You look Amazing, relax . You are a Beautiful young lady (Mom) . Your doing Awesome 👏
Finally someone said it. Jeans are so personal. I look awful in baggy jeans or super high waisted. Those jeans look amazing on you!!!!
Great video. I love your style!
Last year I picked up the skirt/legging/sweater combo which is my favorite for church or work in winter.
Loved this one thank you
You look AMAZING!!! The jeans are sold out! 😩 They must be that good! Will try back in a few weeks.
I love love love these videos, thank you!
You look great Lisa 😀☃️
I was an athlete and have the same large calf problem, Lisa! It can be so frustrating with jeans and some boots. I should try those jeans. Thank you for sharing!
You have a great figure!! Your wardrobe looks almost like mine. I have always been wearing my babies so tanks stretchy pants or jeans and an open sweater have been my everyday clothes since I started having them. If I can't nurse, then I can't wear it and my last baby is 1.5 years old but every now and then, he still wants to nurse. Comfortable is best and I just go for high end comfortable when going out.

I am 7 weeks post partum with my second baby and I feel like I just can’t get it together. Your videos always give me a little glimmer of inspiration and hope- thanks, seriously needed this one!
you've got this, sister!
Hey Lisa! Thanks for sharing!! I just wanted to say you look amazing. Not just your body (haha) but in this video particularly you look glowing. Not pregnancy glowing but new baby glowing and genuinely happy. :) I have been following you for a while now! Love all your videos and very inspiring.

You Mae fabulous vlogs!
Thank you so much!
