Ann Wilson is a top tier singer one of the greatest ever!! Sister Nancy is an awesome guitarist and sings very well. They were inducted into Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 2013 and surely deserve it.
Obviously heart is one of the greatest female bands of all time! I grew up listening to them. I’m just grateful and blessed that I grew up during this time I was able to hear really amazing music out of the gate.
I remember the first time you heard HEART. You and your wife was shook to the core. You have found one of the greatest rock groups of all time. Keep going down this rabbit hole. You will be amazed at how good they were.

Playing guitar at that level is so very difficult...all the great guitar players in this band...that you cannot deny it's a Gift from God, along with the drummer and Annie's singing! Lord knows how much I admired them as a young teen! They were the Ultimate to me and I still have much Respect for them!!
Mel is exactly right! I don't even consider any other female bands because they all pale so much compared to Heart. I loved their rendition of Stairway To Heaven as a tribute to Led Zeppelin. Love your channel. Peace and love to you both. 💝

This song Magic Man, Alone and Crazy on you are three of my most favorite songs although it's hard to state my favorite songs by Heart because they're all absolute bangers!! As for women bands not rocking, I know what you're getting at, Mel. That's why it's so refreshing to have Wilson sisters throwing off constraints and following the full force of their souls... It was a lot more fun to be in my 20's in the 70's than it is being in my 70's in the 20's for many reasons, the music and the reasonable cost of concert tickets was one of the top reasons for that.

Yep! Women were liberated to this back then. I mourn the canned, electronic, soulless music that is played now. There are no more concerts to come together and experience creativity of the various races, cultures, genders. We were united back then as we stood in ticket lines together; sat/stood packed in the huge stadium/auditorium filled concert venues. We were united as one people back then. There are no concerts to unite us anymore. "Makes ya wanna go HMMMMMMM!" Is how we would have said back then.

They may be a tribute living but they tour like a real band for a living! In fact one of the guitarists, Nita Strauss, Alice Cooper stole her after seeing her on Monsters of Rock Cruise. Nita now plays with Alice Cooper. Women CAN and have ALWAYS rocked as hard as men and are just as talented.

First saw Them in 1976. Saw Them later within the last 10 years with Jason Bonham. Haven’t lost a beat! Great as ever.
