this video has to be one of the best mountain biking films on youtube, just one guy, a camera, and his bike. it was so simple yet it kept my attention because you are just constantly shredding the whole time. great video man
Absolutely wonderful. The lack of musical soundtrack keeps it pure. There's no embellishment or exposition; it is simply what it is. A bit lonely (perhaps?) but FULLY connected. Absolutely wonderful.
This was fantastic man, great job. I film all of my own videos and understand how much work all of the non-POV footage is - that is a whole lot of walking up-hill. Thank you for putting this together, you gave me a bunch of great ideas.
Great job men! I really want to go some place or routes like these, beautiful. I will always prefer to ride at afternoon just right before the sunset. Such a great feeling dude! Amazing!
Hey thanks, Charlie! That means a lot. I just watched your most recent video-hope you keep creating! Reach out to me on instagram if you're ever in Colorado and we'll have to get out for a ride!
Hats off to the efforts self filming this would take. Holy moly. Your mix of shots made me tired just watching it haha well done! Audio was great. What do you use to get bike sounds from a distance?
Hey thank you! Took me a little longer to get down these trails than it usually does! I was using a Rode VideoMic-so just a shotgun mic on my camera. Does a pretty dang good job at picking up audio as long as it's facing the right way!

Wow, thank you Nolan. That's so nice of you to say. I really appreciate it. Cheers! Hopefully I can do another one of these again soon!

That was sick.

Talented dude...
Cheers! Thank you!
Great shots man! Only other mtb creators will understand how many times you walked back up the hill to make this.
Hey thank you! Yeah it took like 8 hours to get down a trail that usually takes 3 minutes! Such a fun process though.
This is a work of art! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Dang, that's so nice of you to say. Thank you so much for watching!

@@ChasingJo ya bro for sure thanks a lot!
Hell of a rider! Where are the good downhill paths in Co? Me and some guys from SW Wyoming are tired of Jackson and Park City.
Hey thank you! We have some spotlists on Leopard: bit.ly/3rW4gEz that highlight tons of our favorite running and riding trails out here.
remids me of the mahalo my dude self film "alone"
how did you do that with the sound, so that it is always so good, no matter how far away you are. Extra mirkrofon?
Hey! I just used my Rode video mic on top of my camera which is able to pick up a surprising amount of quality audio.
@@ChasingJo ah okay thanks
Great vid what camera did u use
Hey! All of this was shot on a Sony a7r4. It holds its own with video!
amazing job bro .what kind of camera and editing software were you using ?
Hey John! I was using a Sony A7R4 to record and edited with Adobe Premiere. Glad you liked it!
Such a sick video! Great work dude. What camera did you use?
Yoooo thanks Jake! I've got a Sony A7r4 with a Sigma ART 85mm lens for this one.
Awesome footage dude, Is that an SB-150? also what pedals are those?
Thanks Scott! Yes it is an SB150. Been loving how this bike rides. I've been running the Shimano Saint Clipless pedals for a little while now!
@@ChasingJo Thats incredible, can't believe you can throw the 150 around like that. Very impressive indeed.
@@xsporter69 I appreciate that!
