10:12 Starting to think that Crim didn't fully read Azure Beastbinder before putting it in to the deck. Forgot it had vigilance, and could have gotten a free damage since Amalia couldn't block it.
I like how he not only didn’t read that the Beastbinder was unblockable by creatures w/ power 2 or more, but he also never even got curious when no one ever decided to block them
Crim you became my favorite player on the channel. I like the formats you play and the decks are fun and good enough to win even when silly. I enjoy the positivity and weirdness
18:00 "im not swinging into the long river lurker" has two creatures that can't be blocked by it and have vigilance and can also turn it into a 2/2 with no abilities

Failure to read Strikes Crim down, Azure Beastbinder was unblockable, and Tribute to the World Tree is not a choice, if it has less than 3, pump, else, draw
This is a fun deck. i needed a dimir deck for my dailies but i deleted all my standard decks to start over for rotation. i went 10-2 with this deck. Honestly it could use a couple legit board wipes for massive threats but beyond that solid. thanks.
Case of the Ransacked Lab (Enchatment will be important for Storm, it lowers the cost of your spells and allows you to draw cards if Solved. Every instant and sorcery becomes a can trip allowing you to storm. Not sure how competitive it is though…we will see.
So Crim, dumb question... I often see you say "I didn't know this creature has this ability" but there's icons on the graphic for the the creature that indicate when it has a certain ability - like a skull for Deathtouch, for example. How do you miss those? Is it from trying to play and commentate at the same time, maybe? I am more than a wee bit confused on that :)
This first game is exactly what I was worried Vren would struggle against, since every other signpost legendary in the set pushes the player's own plan forward. Vren seems to reward you for messing with theirs, but what if they don't play creatures?
my new deck white red. entirely removal based. and wins with lands that turn into creatures, this deck blows up EVERYTHING on my opponents side including lands, artifacts, enchantments, and creatures, it leans heaviest on land destruction and creature removal. then late game i got a ton of lands and my opponent doesn't and i can attack with my lands for the win. this deck can also does well against affinity decks, and blue, as i dont need to cast spells to have creatures enter into the field, does well against creature heavy decks and decks that are very land dependent: nonlands: austere command wrath of god fumigate dwarven miner dwarven blastminer wake of destruction shattering pulse fanning the flames orcish settlers lands 24: boros garrison sacred foundry rugged prairie needle spires restless bivouac mutavault
To the surprise of no one, the first deck the disembodied voice of Crim plays in new standard is Dimir.
Is he using AI text to voice 😂
I'm surprised it's not grixis
@@JonReid01 IIRC he's traveling so he doesn't have his regular recording setup
Crim, you can swing with Azure Beastbinder because it can't be blocked by things with 2 or more power and it has vigilance! It's free real estate!
I'm SO mad the enemy had 4/3 life and he didnt swing for like 3 turns with either of the two beastbinder. SO MAD. Reading the card explains the card.

I love his content but it annoys me so much when he does stuff like this
@@joelchatfield4250It's a new set and they are making tons of new decks, guys. Let's cut him some slack.
Happens again multiple times from around 17:30 to 19:00 he could have won that game but ended up losing.
18:32 not attacking with everything and having a 2 turn clock with the beast binders is crazy
He forgot that cards have effects. The helpful (!) icon wasn't enough.
CRIM PLEASE ATTACK WITH THE BEASTBINDERS
I like how he not only didn’t read that the Beastbinder was unblockable by creatures w/ power 2 or more, but he also never even got curious when no one ever decided to block them
No unoriginal jokes in 19 seconds? The commenters really fell off
They’re still salty about the latest Commander Clash
He likes to play rats, because he is one 😂
Where's the giant rat that makes all of the rules

I love new sets, so many reading the card explaining the card moments
Crim turned me from a hater to an enjoyer, I love seeing him mess up stuff in this because I mess up stuff in my games all the time.

22:17 "Masterfully done by myself, of course." LOL
So fantastic the new table is!
Storm: level 10 on the storm scale
Level 10: I never say never, but this would require a major miracle
Ral, Crackling Wit:
I cannot wait to get my hands on some of these cards

Thank god for rotation. Never want to see a bloodtithe harvester or a wandering emperor again
Couldn't you use the threshold rat vs the frogs deck earlier in the game to try to keep up pressure?
Not only keep up the pressure, but if he had done it early enough, he would have just won straight up.
If I were to ultimate ral multiple time, every spell would have storm multiple times which would work right
Yup
Where's karumonix?
I could be misremembering, but wasn't he from Kamigawa? If so, he rotated.
If not, well, my bad.
He's from phyrexia
Sad that Neon Dynasty rotates out before Bloomburrow hits standard, it would be so fun to throw the Nezumi rats in with these new ones
Rats, Bats, Mice and Otters
I LOVE RATS! I LOVE RATS SO MUCH!!! LETS GOOOOOOOOOOO
I’m surprised you didn’t just play mice because it’s close enough to rats. “What do you mean this isn’t a rat? It is furry and has a tail”

Hey! Crim sorta fixed the audio!
As a Nitirat, I approve.
I really hope Crim doesn't cheese out any opponents.
Spell Pierce is OUT, too bad😢
I love Crim videos
I miss facecam Crim 😢
Got rolled over by vren just now at my prerelease im not sure im ready to watch this video
If you build this in paper you can play Rats, foiled again!

Read your cards please 🙂
Could you or could you not play Tangled Colony? I don’t know what the rules are for this type of game mode.
Tangled colony is still legal to play yeah
Crim needs a bit more practice with this deck. Beastbinder is much better than he realized.
Did you get a bad haircut? Why no face on your latest videos?
New standard looks as annoying and boring as previews ones, with lots of removal turn after turn and empty fields.
Man's gotta read his cards. Painful to watch >.
Tbh rats is the worst tribe coming from Bloomburrow, if you're not aggro, you don't have chance in bo1
best of one is not real magic
Why?
