Hi, Thank you for the video but my e-puck robot did not follow the line. It was just running straight and hit the wall. Do you know what happen and how to fix it ?
In general for robotics, I would say go for Ubuntu OS. In terms of configuration, opt for higher RAM and processing power. I recently recommended Dell Inspiron 15 Laptop ( 16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD) to two of my cousins. Great specs & good price. Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored recommendation, just what I found to have good specs.
Hi, which simulation do you think is best for the use of a real time simulation based on your experience? I am currently having trouble with doing this as my team is currently working on a self driving car in gazebo. The tracks that we are using are so big to simulate and this has caused a performance issue where the simulation time does not follow the real time.
This is going to be true accross the board. Most simulators can’t handle it because your simualtion might have multiple objects & parts. It is a crazy amount of computation for sure. The best suggestion is to simplfiy. For example: don’t import track design from cad, it might have lots of sub parts. Instead use basic shapes to represent track. The goal of simulation should be to prototype the basic idea & then implement in the real world. Hope that helps. All the best :)
To the best of my knowledge, there is no specific title. It can be one person or a team. Here are some titles - robotics engineer, robotics software engineer, controls engineer, software engineer, mechanical engineer, etc.
sorry but on webots I can't show track for line followers. even though I moved the track one file to the protos folder, when I want to add the file it doesn't appear instead this appears ERROR: 'D:/Task/Smt 6/Roboting/Epuck/protos/TrackOne.proto': error: Missing header. INFO: Please modify the first line of 'D:/Tugas/Smt 6/Roboting/Epuck/protos/TrackOne.proto' to "#VRML_SIM R2023a utf8". please tell me the solution Thank You

Hi Krish, I can understand the budget constraints. You can always go for simulation robotics such as webots that are free. Learning Python is also a great step towards robotics. I would also recommend doing C++. To the best of my knowledge, there are very limited options for direct robotics btech. You can also go for CS, Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, etc.
Hello Ma'am. I added the track one to protos but it's not appearing in the protonodes in the app, what should I do? Any suggestions please?
How did you find the numbers for the bool lines and the numbers represent what?
I imported as an obj and my epuck is running off track

How did you import the obj of the track and convert it to proto node?
Check this video. Timing 2:47 where I show how to download track which is a proto node - ruclips.net/video/t_xCXIRQUns/видео.html

Hi, Thank you for the video but my e-puck robot did not follow the line. It was just running straight and hit the wall.
Do you know what happen and how to fix it ?
If it is just driving straight then it is possible it is not detecting the line. Test the sensors by printing out the values.
mam any recommendations on laptops configuration etc for robotics please

when will you upload next tutorial video, waiting for it 😊
Hopefully soon, I have a lot of content ready to edit. I am currently taking a break to spend time with family.

You could have used the camera to follow the line like I did.
Hi Krish,
Yes one can also use a camera for line following. I choose to use IR sensors.
@@KajalGada Yes, the one with the camera is so so smoother. The IR is always jittery, even with PID its difficult to control.
