American Airlines flight 1775, Boeing 737-800 arrives at the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (KDCA) on the River Visual runway 19 approach. Recorded in Microsoft Flight Simulator on the VATSIM network, ATC included. Massive tail-strike and stall warnings plus FSXCC landing competition vibes at the end.

Hello Groundpoops66 I just wanted to let you know, stemming all the way back from your chaotic flight sim x sessions to these dry humor regular flights, you single handedly peaked my interest in aviation.
For the past 11 years I lived in California just managing coffee shop to coffee shop and streaming in off time.
And just 2 weeks ago I moved to Virginia Beach for flight school, just the other day I went up for my first time in a small two seater experimental, and got my first taste behind the sticks. I have no one to thank but you dude, you’re amazing and I’m truly grateful that the algorithm brought us together all those years ago. You’re the man brother, I hope to run into you some day and buy you a beer 👊🏼

IRL, air traffic controllers are truly the unsung heroes in our everyday lives, they don't get the credit they deserve, they're underpaid, overworked and they do this work day in and day out to ensure everyone is safe, happy, and healthy. The next time you find out that someone is a real ATC, hug him and thank him for his service, it's the least you can do.

Great video. I fly the 737 IRL in the US for a major carrier (but not AAL. Hint: paint is mostly blue!)
We have the “airspeed low” aural warnings installed. I’m not sure about AAL’s configs, but that would be a great heads-up pre-stall (in the event it happens).
For energy management tips, be very careful disconnecting A/T and handling it on your own. For the most part, A/T will hold approach speed on its own around 5 kts past your landing Vref (known as Vtarget). When you disconnect A/T, it’ll actually stay around Vtarget on its own. You don’t want to be exactly at Vref because you’ll be too close to a low-airspeed condition. Very small movements are needed on the thrust levers upon disconnection unless it’s super windy, but usually for that I leave A/T on until last minute for disconnection on landing.
Other than that, great job slowing it down in advance. This thing is a slick piggy and hard to slow down once she gets going. Walking down to that flaps-up bug (210 kts) prior to the IAF is crucial, so good job getting it slowed early with ATC. Keep it up.

The Biot number (Bi) is a dimensionless quantity used in heat transfer calculations, named for the eighteenth-century French physicist Jean-Baptiste Biot (1774-1862). The Biot number is the ratio of the thermal resistance for conduction inside a body to the resistance for convection at the surface of the body. This ratio indicates whether the temperature inside a body varies significantly in space when the body is heated or cooled over time by a heat flux at its surface.
In general, problems involving small Biot numbers (much smaller than 1) are analytically simple, as a result of nearly uniform temperature fields inside the body. Biot numbers of order one or greater indicate more difficult problems with nonuniform temperature fields inside the body.
The Biot number appears in a number of heat transfer problems, including transient heat conduction and fin heat transfer calculations.

Always impressed by your videos. This was a winner. Your radio work is impeccable, even in an American dialect!
