- i started rewatching this show again and this show is incredible and it's made me cry like 15 times so far but like the vas are phenomenal i need to make a longer video later but. pleasepelaplsepapslrprewwerjthtjh

tenkai knights is a 2013 canadian-japanese show launched for a toy line by the same name by Spin Master who made bakugan and other toys that are apparently really popular. it only got 52 episodes however, the last of whcih is just one big episode reusing extremely old animation and was set to have another season however, it never got released and to this day i am forever crushed. this show was my childhood, and it's about four kids who have this typical isekai'd adventure in which they shapeshift into four robots with superpowers on another planet and beat the villain, a corrupted tyrant that wants to in a monster of the week kinda format - however, along the way it explores their friendship, family, insecurities and struggles that 12-14 year olds would face and i honestly really like the way it handles a lot of them :,) especially because each of them have so many issues and they handle it in messy immature ways but at the end of the day!! you can tell that they are the best of friends and even if they fight or jab at each other in ways that kids would (as in: they don't really consider how it makes the other person feel and they try to make up for it and they learn from it!!! and they grow and this show made up so much of my braincells as a kid okay) and honestly okay there are SO many transformation sequences but the heart of it all is the way they handle these dynamics to me okay listne to me it's a good show the interactions are hilarious too (heart emoji)

back in the day i used to bop around with the absolute microscopic tenkai knights fandom on tumblr so stumbling upon this video gave me enough serotonin to survive another 25 years
Lowkey the dialogue / writing in this show goes so hard, it truly does embody the cringe-ness of being 13 🙏 in a good way tho
Duuude, I miss this show so much. ;A; I remember watching it sparsely when I was a kid because I would be a little embarrassed watching what I liked around family, but I got back into it a couple years ago, and I love it as much as I did back then; it’ll always hold a place in my heart.
This show deserved so much more than it got, because all of the characters are so amazing, and for being a show that is supposed to promote toys, it was so, SO well-made. Thank you for these clips. ❤
Im surprised to realise that a lot of big name VAs voiced in this little show?? Fuckin Papenbrook, Lowenthal, Yong Bosch, Haberkorn...
Don’t forget Diskin and Futterman and this is like her first and possibly only anime show.
This show was my introduction to these VAs and it was great (except for Ben Diskin cause I was already aware of him from Codename Kids Next Door and Yuri Lowenthal from Ben 10)
