Gale was two years ahead of me at Palm Valley School in Cathedral City (Rancho Mirage now). She was inspiring even then (she was only about 12-13 at the time, I was 10) - anyway, I did a film there (I was the editor and conceived it) which later won the California Art Educator's Award as top educational film (The Potter's Problems) which ended up being produced by Lucille Ball as one of the episodes on her Here's Lucy show (Lucy and Harry's Pot). So, the film school at Palm Valley was a real launch pad for lots of people, Gale being the most famous as far as I am aware. I personally chose a life in information technology after observing how hard Hollywood is with a gal-pal from Palm Valley (not Gale) and am fine with that. Cheers to Gale for inspiring Jim Cameron and a lot of good things BEYOND and BEFORE their association. My favorite director has long been Stanley Kubrick. My favorite movie? Robert Lean's Lawrence of Arabia (easily). Be well all!!!!
