I looked into buying one but there was no option of using a guide rail. Sadly that footplate is no good for people who want to cut concrete. But if that is now a thing I'll look into it and if its any good I'll throw it on tiktok. (I'd get it tomorrow but since that 9inch grinder vacuum adaptor was %100 useless and a waste of $250 I'm reserved about getting one)
Hey makita is there going to be a 40vmax or 80vmax LAWN MOWER? An 80vmax set up using 4 batteries like thr 36v version would be top of the class, and would make much more sense for the release of a new platform
Battery type is only for hobbyist people because its too expensive in malaysia and cannot run all day. I need the all out all day long electric model in Malaysia soonest possible.
Takes non standard 125mm discs with 20mm centre hole. Not cross compatible with angle grinder wheels. Disgusting trick by Makita. I will qualify that this is also a brilliant product and I can't imagine going back to a dry system. Just really, a portable battery product when you can only cary so much stuff and can't use the same blades in different platforms because there is a 2.23mm difference in the centre hole? Seriously evil to do that. Come on Makita, do better.
Good morning
Thanks for the video
When it’ll be available in Europe and what will be the price??
I need this right now!😄🤙

check it out. Use the makita 198673-2 guide rail adapter with a 199140-0 track or similar. subscribe to my channel just for this ;)
They have a 36v concrete cutter, larger unit, more power, and 88mm cutting depth. Also has wet cutting feed.

Why the screw dont use on board allen key?
It should come with two batteries because I doubt a full one will last more than an hour at heavy duty.
I'd like to have this with the adapter but I'm afraid it'll cost more than even the brushless saw
Could this be used instead of grinding cladding boards and eave sheets
They make a 36v power cutter, may be more useful. Also has water feed
🤔so, they used capacitor...?
Doesn’t work for mitre from the edge of the tile failer
Did you use it ? I want to buy it but I'm not sure

I got the 9inch concrete cutter, 36v (2 batteries), that does wet cutting … which uses standard masonry or concrete blades.
