The torque on the suron is more than double of an avarage ebike. If we in mtb community can build our own trails, then so can people on e-motocross. There are tracks for this.
They need to get off the trials with those things. Go ride an MX track. Rode Cannock twice a fair few years back. Was pretty impressed with what they've created given the lack of any real "altitude" compared to what we have up here. The bike i rented on site for my 2nd trip was garbage, though.
Yes, those guys on the Sur-Rons need a place to ride, but they should not be on either public land, or on trails designated for mountain bikes. We get them occasionally at the FoD and they do way more damage than any kind of mountain bike, assisted or not. Ask anyone that builds or maintains trails, (which I do) and they’ll be pretty clear on where electric MX bikes should be ridden.
i dont mind sharing the trails with surrons, but.... they need some throttle control though. better them on the trails than out on the streets getting in trouble 👌
anything with a throttle should not be on trails built for push bikes. to say that surrons don't do any more damage than an mtb is absolutely incorrect. im not for telling anyone what to do, i only hope that common sense and a bit of respect prevails.
@perspectivedetective2703 You should forward these comments to the forestry guys I see out on the MX bikes. I see having a blast on the trails now & again having fun 😎🤘🏽 Also, you've probably just upset a whole community of mtb riders who carry disabilities that I see out on the trails with throttled electric bikes as they struggle for use of their leg/legs 🥺😥 I'll be honest I can't expand on you're comments as I'm not one to discriminate. I like to see everyone out on the trails. Whatever it may be, you're able to ride 😎🤘🏽
@perspectivedetective2703 Just glad the Ebike Hate has died down a lot recently 💙 as I remember the days when I had my 1st Haibike people used to repeat very similar comments to your 1st comment but as time goes on Ebikes are part of the family now 🙂 if truth be told I see more Ebikes on the trails than normal bikes even at bike parks 😅 People get used to change over time 🤘🏽
Surrons make people angry because they’re faster but I bet any money they don’t actually do anymore damage than other bikes and even if they do they’re not as common as people think, I’ve been riding mtb since 2016 and I’ve seen 6 Surrons in my whole time riding so !😂
@@wesleywoolery88 Pedal Ebikes and surrons are very different. The only people that ride surrons are Chavs they destroy trails and as someone that goes to bike park wales a lot you don't see many E-bikers compared to ordinary bikes. Cannock chase you see more E-bikes then ordinary bikes.
Unless your one of the people that builds and maintains these trails or you own the property you don't get a say on who uses those trails. The size of those tyres and the torque of those motors would destroy a trail so quickly.
I remember as a child there was a few people with this mentality 😅 "Its my football so you're not playing" 😅 Love it, were all grown now we should all be able to play together surely 😁

They can go to the same places the motorcross guys go
The ski jump at the bottom the black k run, you need to hit it with a bit of speed, it’s cushy once you get in the landing.
@@papawhisky5794 I need to get some balls 1st 😅👌🏾🤘🏽 Gid knows what's up with me just lately 🤘🏽

Most annoying thing about mtb is Bedgbury forest £18 for parking and the trails are shit! And the bike wash is ALWAYS ALWAYS CLOSED!!
@Cartsp70 £18 Sounds a bit steep, tbf 😬🤘🏽
Not really a ride on emtb though
3:27 i fell off there lol
