All the things you said you need are part of the luxury package which you can also get in the xlt trim. Sunroof as well

Same exact truck. I'm averaging 26 mpg. VERY comfortable. OK sound system w/ CarPlay Android Auto. I could buy 2 (or 3 in a stretch) of these for the price of a full size pickup.

Great review!! I've had F150 Supercrews & now that I'm retired have no need for a full size truck with a big fuel tank. I'll be using the Maverick for my Home Depot or Lowe's run & light off roading. This truck checks all the boxes for me & my needs. Ordered a loaded Tremor Lariat & it came out to 40K, build date is March 20th. Still very reasonably priced. A friend of mine bought a Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road with the TRD Pro wheels & tires, 2.5" lift. Beautiful truck but rides a little too bumpy for my taste & it cost him 56K!! I'll be happy when I get my Lariat Tremor.

I got my Tremor XLT Maverick the last week of March. I'm keeping my two decades old F150 & F250 for heavy lifting chores plus towing my boat and travel trailer. The Tremor will save me mpg's and extend the lives of my larger trucks...which would be ultra pricey to replace. The Tremor is a blast to drive around the eastern slopes of the Sierras....and just plain ole commuting. I didn't load it up with options, just spray-in bedliner, sliding rear window and 400 watt inverter. $31K before delivery, doc, taxes, registration, license fees....$35K after delivery fee and the gobemint took it's cut. Much better deal than 2022's "average new vehicle" price" of $49.5K before the gobemint took it's cut.....crazy how expensive new vehicles have become.

I’ve sold a good few of them and have one on order for myself, and my customers have said that they’re getting better than quoted in their ecoboost models.

It is a great looking little vehicle. Ford needs to make more of them, hard to find them.

Don’t forget to add $15k dealer mark up.

Hey Mabel, give the name of the locally owned dealership with the "$15,000 markup"....shame the dealer or at least warn potential customers...to find a dealer with a smaller markup. I ordered my Maverick directly thru Ford...NO MARKUP....but if I had gone to a local dealer the markup is $7500...still waaaay too much for me which is why I ordered my Maverick Tremor direct thru Ford. with ZERO markup, but back up your $15K markup claim by naming the Ford Dealer.

I think this XLT and Lariat Maverick is a solid every day drive compact truck. IMO Ford is really missing the boat with this not having a Hybrid offering with AWD/4WD offerings with decent combined hp around 275 and for all Maverick trims, to include Tremor... MPG is not bad as you note, but a quality hybrid option would raise the bar and I would really be interested.

Where would Ford put AWD/4WD in a hybrid that already has a gas engine, electric motor and the electric motor's battery under the hood? Go visit a local Ford dealer and look under the hood of a hybrid Maverick...and then let Ford know where you'd put the AWD/4WD. The only answer is make the Maverick larger, heavier and less aerodynamic(larger profile) resulting in poorer mpg's. There's this thing called "physics", as an engineering major I took 3 semesters of physics before really digging deep into mechanical engineering. Yep, lotsa folks would love to have an AWD hybrid Maverick....and maybe someday it'll happen but the tech required to shrink all the mechanicals needed to stuff under the hood doesn't exist and won't exist for a hybrid AWD Maverick anytime soon.....and then there would be the cost of such high tech which would sorta defeat the concept of an "economical" Maverick. Of course an EV AWD Maverick is possible....but unless a break through in battery tech happens the range of an EV AWD Maverick would be poor for most folks needs....making it a product failure.
