that's our cab driver
That's right episode 6 will feature Jake summoning the suit, to fight Ahmet, cause Jake is stronger version than the two, he is a Boxer plus took all the beatings frm his mother

Yep yep, and I guess I’m his room there is a Chicago Cubs flag and glove
He almost sounded like his father in this scene.
I think that's Jake
@Peter Parker the guy in the flashback, his jewish father kinda had an accent like that, so maybe his alter Jake was made after his father for protection from his mother..just a theory.
Bro I’m from chicago the way he says doctor is definitely New York
On top of the accent change, how he positions his lips when he talks is very noticeably different.
Yup, kinda reminds me of DeNiro in Taxi Driver
Which makes sense, since both actors are playing city taxi drivers there
The lips were so sus to me. This makes sense!
@@SpanishAvenger Psychotic taxi drivers
@@SpanishAvenger I've been looking for this comment since Wednesday! At first I thought Oscar Isaac was imitating de Niro, then I remembered Taxi Driver. It would make sense for Marc to emulate another movie character, and one who's trying to protect a child too. 🥺 (Like Steven Grant was protecting his sidekick.)
It reminds me of Natasha Lyonne in Orange is the New Black. The same lips movement
*Oscar Isaac switches it on so subtly!*
It’s Marc
Oscar Isaac is the actor…
At this point, all of us are literally confused and not knowing what is sense and nonsense anymore haha
Yeah but SPM0978 was saying he was Marc, and I don’t think he knew Oscar Isaac was the actor of Marc
As someone with DID, I find it really impressive. How accurately he portrays this, that is
The fact that Oscar Isaac can portray 3 different characters with his eyes alone.
Someone give Oscar an Oscar.
Remember the scene when his mom wanted to beat his ass in his room and mark created steven then. But steven didn't experience any beating from his mother. I wonder if jack is the one that took it
Ooohhh yeah, he did
Like, he tried to create only Steven but then jake appeared instead and Steven was unaware that he was a reflection and only experienced the happy bits so Marc gets the hatred, Steven gets the nice bits, jake gets the beatings
Aw man that’s even sadder if it was jake that took it. Never thought about it that way
In the comics
Jake literally says to one of the bad guys
"Imagine if you took all the worst parts of Marc and let them fuse into a LIVING PERSON" 😅
Jake took the brunt of it all
Too good theory man. That is why he might be the most violent one.

Exactly! There’s something off about them.
I knew there was something different about this scene but I couldn't place my finger on it but this makes sense
I noticed that too. His look and eyes, along with his accent, were slightly different. Very out of character for Marc, even in his deranged state. Also, he was oddly violent, more violent than Marc would have been.

notice the confusion, he doesn't know where he is, or why dr. harrow is calling him marc. jake is also known to be the most aggressive identity, so these actions make sense. and of course, the accent and slang isn't like marc or steven too. going into the deeper parts of the episode (spoilers!) we know marc is the reality, he created steven to have the idea of a mom who loves him, and it's possible that he created jake to be able to take the blows from his abusive mother. d.i.d. stems from traumatic experiences, so i think it would make sense.
You know what? It does make sense
Whatch ep 4 and when all guys are dead when marc wakes up he ask what did steven do because marc doesnt know what he did

There is no “real identity” when it comes to DID.
When Dr.harrow says “is that why you keep starting imaginary fights in our hospital?” Jake Lockley was a boxer and boxers actually do imaginary fights called shadow boxing. Mind blown 🤯

My boy Jake Lockley better be revealed to have a MK suit variant, cuz I'd love to see his way of fighting, Marks was tactical fighting, Steven was stylish, mixed in with his street fighting, so I wanna see how Jake Lockley fights cuz of the previous times Mark "Blacked out".

I think “Jake” had already taken control a few times in earlier episodes, ex; the roof scene. After he apparently brutally kills a bunch of bad dudes, he alters back, and Marc seeing the gruesome aftermath says, “Steven, what did you do?”, and Steven replies, “It wasn’t me…”.

I don’t know if the eyes were intentional but I noticed the difference too. There’s just something weird in them.
It’s widened made to loon aggressive?? That’s what I saw. Like someone that has so much darkness. Jake looks like he’s uncomfortable with his emotions. I believe this identity will be the reason moon knight will exist as a proper anti hero. Jake doesn’t have a problem with k i lling nor does he seem to have a different perspective when it comes to the whole thing with the bird. Jake seems like the kind of person to usf unleash havoc as a way of releasing all that anger, pain, aggression, hurt and thin line between revenge and justice.
I felt like it was Jake once he started having that crazy look in his eyes and his voice changed
yes
Agreed
i also noticed something his name wasn’t shown when subtitles turned on while when harrow was talking his name was shown.
remember guys, Marc ASKS Harrow IF he injected him with something (implying he wasn't active for a while), he doesn't AFFIRM that HE KNOWS he was injected with a sedative. i think there's a big but subtle difference there.
I’m so fascinated by the changes in his acting for each one of them.
That’s a big part on why I loved the series so much.
Also, yesterday’s post credit scene was so brilliant I can’t get over it.
I’m so excited to see more of them when the second season comes out 🙏✨
It was Jake for sometime only bcz Marc remembers getting medicine so in this video Jake was not all the time
I think that was just him noticing the soreness in his neck and assuming it was an injection.
I actually kind of agree. I think Jake came out fully when Harrow asked about ‘that little boy.’ Jake coming out was a protective response to a triggering question. But I do think the two could have been blending somewhat at the start. Sometimes with DID, two identities can front at the same time.
it's shown that their memories blend now tho, for exemple Jake knows about Harrow and Konshu and Tawaret even when these things happen while he's not fronting. The limits between the personalities are porous since their mother's death, it makes sense that Marc would have some blurry memory of being injected when it happened to Jake.
I think Marc can see what the other alters see in Duat. When Steven was off exploring Marc's childhood memory without him, he can listen to every dialogue that Steven is experiencing eventhough was not even with him at the time. Same goes for Jake here, I think the reason for Marc to scream with Steven when they saw Taweret was because Marc's actually feeling what Jake was feeling when he was being drugged which was why he kind of overeacted to Taweret.
The thing about this is, on rewatch, Jake is actually alluded to in Episode 1, where Steven finds out he has a date with his coworker. Remember, Mark is married to and in love with Layla, so he wouldn’t cheat on her, and Steven had no memory of asking her out, meaning it was probably Jake who did so.
It’s possible that because they were getting divorced Marc was already searching for a new partner
You can tell by his accent and his eyes
Goddamn, such a great actor. Also nice spotting, when I first watched it, it didn't click with me but it's so good
He says, “your gonna lose this time”
Final Episode, he says “todays your time to lose” before shooting Harrow
The only thing that make me think that it's not Marc but it's Jake is his eyes.
There's no way Marc and Steven would open his eye wide open.
Plus the dead fish eye is very uncomfortable which what brings me thinking it's Jake n not SV and MC.
He's an amazing actor❤
Jake Lockley: "Gets introduced"
Also Jake Lockley: *AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!*
Oscar is really good, pulling these three personalities amazingly.
I wanna see more of Jake in the final episode!
I dont think jake only speaks spanish, he just happened to be in that scene lol
He's more confused and is confused when Dr Harrow calls him Marc
I'm so glad everybody in the world picked up on this, if this is true the writers and Oscar are geniuses
oscar is literally amazing, the fact we can immediately tell when he switches and even feels and LOOKS like different people
Great catch! I wouldn't be surprised at all if this was Jake. Especially how he got so stabby immediately
I Love His Accent , Jake Lockley's But Oscar Isaac Is A Phenomenal Actor !! Made Me Believe This Is A Whole New Person From The Same Actor . Great Casting Choice . I Would Love A Season 2 Of Moon Knight !!
Well, we have confirmation that it wasn’t Jake in this scene now. Oscar Isaac & the head writer opened up about the finale today, they were talking about how they all decided for Jake to only appear at the end, have just a few lines, & only in Spanish. Jake’s first on screen reveal was the finale
Also in all the scenes where both Steven and Marc blacked out.
i remember that after this scene later marc saying "are you going to inject me again?" Which specifically confirm that in this scene marc is conscious. Because he know that he's been sedated..
The writer also said that Jake has been in it since the start, just not revealed till the end.
I think it makes more sense that the 3 visits to the doctor are for each of them. And the last talking justice and being a super hero is Jake and Steven, as Mark just wanted peace, with the others wanting to protect.
It would have been better if they did it this way.
The director claimed this isn't true but it certainly sounded true to my ear!
While killing Arthur Harrow, he didn't even blink his eyes and has a evil smile on his face😈💪😬🥶
When Arthur called those two to restrain Jake, he already knew something was off. It's like he's not the Marc he knows.
Oscar Issac ia so amazing man
Marc, Steven and Jake looks so different
Incredible acting
I like that once harrow knew it was jake he pressed that panic button multiple times
This episode is the sole reason I loved this show so much
Its not, after this marc references dr harrow sedating him with drugs. Its said in the series that alters don’t remember other alters memories. Confirming it was indeed Marc
@@mellohi6175 right
@@Teyism He probably feels the needle injection. He also was asking him if he injected him, as if he isn't sure.
I thought the same thing when I saw this seen, but I'm not fully convinced that that was jake. I think Jake will officially come out next episode.
This aged like fine wine
"Keep starting fights". Everytime jake switches out he beats up everybody around him😳
i can tell by the way he said stuff like “i feel like a million dollars” plus they way he was planning to murder the doctor since marc will be more sensible
Completely agree with you! I think they've claimed that they didn't intentionally put jake in that scene. But I knew as soon as I saw his face and even more when he started talking, that it definitely was not Marc or Steven. So all that leaves is Jake and with the violent tendencies, that adds up. Such amazing acting for real.
This series just shows how talented Oscar Isaac is
He looks and sounds confused at first then immediately chooses violence
I'm gonna keep making myself look like a fool by feeling convinced these clips amounts to Jake appearing indirectly.
If you guys remembered in the 1st episode, when Harrow's men tried to snatch the Scarab from Steven's hand... He got into an episode and woke back up with his hand bloodied, the Scarab's wing piece opened.
To me, Jake can turn anything into a deadly weapon ala John Wick's pencil iconic story. This scene, happened again where he grabbed the sharp and pointy crystal pyramid first thing from the table.
He is ready to either jab it right to Dr. Harrow's face or getting ready to flee... ARMED (but didn't make it when the Orderlies arrived a bit earlier, restraining him from behind).
I think there's a couple of pages in the comics where there's 'Marc' strapped on a gurney, getting an electric shock treatment by the people of the hospital. Afterwards, he saw the Doctor and his assistants as a bipedal egyptian jackal.
I wonder if episode 6 serves the same level of angst and emotional moments like in episode 5, but JAKE focused. I've came across lots of theories and such saying that MCU Jake is 'created' by Steven to put himself in a very aggressive, intimidating and dominating spot since we all know Steven is too kind and a pacifist person. He wouldn't get into a fight if he could avoid it and whatnot.
He probably faced bullying problems while being in front and Marc didn't intervene at times. Perhaps Steven DO feels like he is weak and not bold, adding in over his mother's abusive nature which makes it more complex.
Slowly shaping Jake whom Marc and Steven 'turns to' to take the abuses, the torments and so on. Their punching bag that won't hold back if protection comes first to the two.
Yo, I knew there was something off about this scene when I first saw it, weird that I didn't even considered that it could have been Jake who we saw here. Makes a lot of sense, really.
Round of applause for oscar isaac acting. He was born for this role.
Oscar Issac is amazing!!
Oscar Isaac is a talented actor 👏 my favorite line I feel like a million dollars
What I've noticed
I believe since Mark was still panicking a bit confused on why the fuck he's in a mental hospital which is causing him
to switch from him and Jake because he feels unsafe and unsure what to do
even though sometimes you can't really tell when Marc transitions because he hides it better now
I believe he transitioned while he was looking around the room to Jake causing him to look extremely confused more than usual
when he held his nose that's when he transitioned into Jake again
"you're not really a Docta.... you're not a Docta..."
*back to Marc until Dr Harrow said something about the little boy AKA his brother*
*when he was moving in closer that was Marc*
*and Marc isn't really violent like that unless he has to so when he grabbed the pyramid and got up that's when Dr harrow realized he transitioned back to Jake again*

Oscar Isaac is FANTASTIC.
He did such an amazing job with this character, cant wait for season 2
Also Jake is a boxer and it's common for boxers to have wounded nose bridge. Just like how the mind palace took the form of a psychiatric ward because it's what Marc felt most familiar to, Jake probably has the broken nose even in his "afterlife" because he was so used to have it when alive, but each time got healed with Khonshu's power just in time before either Marc or Steven took over.
I already suspected that was joke but the moment he said "your gonna release the monster" that just confirmed it for me
Jake Lockley be like: " *eh, what's up, doc?* "
When marc is walking through the hallway the first time and runs into Stevens sarcophagus he also runs into Jake's and it's shaking super violently but he never opens it
"Doctah"
Bing Bong the fandom was wrong
I fucking love when his face when he pretends to be okay. His eyes get huge.
The range of Oscar Issac is phenomenal. Dude is a top level actor and he showed it during this show.
I feel Robert De Niro’s vibe in this scene.
The guy who played ...a taxi driver 🤔
Guess we we're wrong.
I never noticed that dude that makes this show so much better
The venom comparisons get stronger
Remember the scene I think it was the 2nd episode. Where Marc asked Steven “What did you do?” And all the men were dead? Steven said he didn’t do anything. So there has to be a 3rd person
Pretty sure someone that works for the show already confirmed this isn't Lockley.
The director himself
I always thought this scene felt out of character for Marc
This explains it well
In the final there’s also a scene where “Marc” speaks with a jersey accent. I’m convinced that’s actually Jake.
In the scene Harrow says “before you *got upset*, you were talking about a boy…”
That’s when Jake immediately says “yea I feel better doc” then stands up with that pyramid as a weapon, intending violence.
Nah honestly the way he says ur not really a doctor don’t sound like Marc at all that’s Jake. That whole scene was jake
i like how jake has been sprinkled throughout the season, ever since episode 1, especially when 2 reflections were looking at steven and 1 is further away than the other
His acting is either Oscar Worth or Isaac worthy
i really thought this was just marc being derange bcause he and steven were just shot. but looking closely to his expression, its more broader and more serious and very different than how steven and marc expresses their faces.
It is just Marc going crazy. Jake only speaks Spanish or has a heavy Spanish accent when speaking English for all we know
He was there the whole time
Yep
this scene genuinely scared me, Oscar isaac is such a good actor
Oscar Isaac is an amazing actor, you can tell which alter he is just by body and voice. Even when he is a character yet to be introduced.
That's why when marc came back there he asked "did you just inject me with a syringe" its like he didn't know he was injected
dk the exact line but it's something close to that
I was entirely on board with this assessment, but after learning that Oscar Isaac and Mohamed Diab both said that is wasn’t Jake Lockley, I know it can’t be him; Oscar Isaac ALONE is too intentional about his characters. I think it’s Marc REALLY at the fvcking brink.
I don’t remember what scene came before this right now, but I know it was in the midst of some deep stuff. I think I forgot that while I’m used to seeing difference in mannerisms and expressions as a sign that a switch between alters has happened, when I think about it, Marc’s behavior is a trauma response.
We know he has a Chicago accent, and the further him and Steven ventured into the psych ward of their life, his accent got stronger (see: when Marc tells Steven Layla would be on board with killing Taweret). The more intense his emotions, the stronger his response in punctuation and accent.
To me, his eyes were the most convincing that he was Jake. They’re daunting as hell. But those to me are the eyes of a person deep in fight or flight mode as a reaction to severe trauma. I think Marc’s everything was dialed up to 11 and he was truly fed up and confused and disoriented and wanted it all to fvcking end.
Plus, Oscar Isaac decided to have Jake speak in Spanish. I would assume he would speak in Spanish, or at the very least with Spanish accented English, if he was suddenly in a room with Harrow as a psychiatrist.
I mean, with jake lockely speaking Spanish, he speaks Spanish in the comics, perhaps he'll alternate between the two. Still, you make alot of good points
@@spriteking3944 that makes sense, too. But I’m still hung up on the fact that Oscar denied it. He put SO MUCH work into these characters, I can’t believe he’d slip in a peek of Jake and then deny it.
@@simoneblue12wait he denied what ?
I totally agree with this!!! It was during the talk of Harrow telling Marc to open up i believe, he would have rather hurt himself or harrow then to have to get though all of that again.. plus he was high off the sedative too
The fact that he automatically goes straight for the kill as well
Oscar Isaacs is playing these roles amazingly
the side jaw could be another characteristic
Yep yep!
