😮
I got a pair for Christmas and they are great
@Exo1437-m6h lmao bruv stop glazing
You forgot to mention Clay in Unova. I mean, it has a Palpitoad thats immune to electric moves, but it's still weak to grass types. His new pokemon could be Swootbat or Darmanitan, since both counter grass types, but Swootbat counters also fighting types that Krokorok and Excadrill are weak to.
...Who's gonna tell him Ground doesn't resist Bug when talking about Golurk? It's Ghost that does.
Each gym leader having a Pokemon which counters their weaknesses, is definitely something the actual in-game gym leaders should have
Thats what killed me in the Scarlet and Violet DLC. The elite 4 at Blueberry were ready for my type counters! 😂
I 1000% agree, gym battles (especially the early ones) would become a lot more interesting, which I feel has been desperately needed since Gen 1 😂
@annaduke5409 every single fight I was trying to just sweep with one Pokemon but even with a level 100 team I couldn't sweep the dragon elite four member without any of my Pokemon fainting
Some of the Paldea gym leaders do counter their weaknesses when terastalizing. Brassius’ Sudowoodo has Rock Throw to counter Fire, Bug and Flying types, and Iono’s Mismagius has Levitate making it immune to Ground moves which are Electric’s only weakness.
fr especially their aces
20:37 the idea of "normal" "boring" Larry having a alt/goth daughter is very funny to me. i love it!
Larry girldad truther
He doesn't understand at all but he loves his goth baby
When you started to mention illegal pokemon, I thought you would mention pokemon with illegal moves or early evolved pokemon, like Falkner's Pidgeotto.
I THOUGHT THAT ASWELL!!
Same
Same. Heck, i deadass was waiting for him to come up with something absurd either as a rule check or as an actual ironic new team member.
Like giving Nihil-light to Castform.
Same. I thought he would talk about Gary's Raticate because, if it is the same rattata he had in the last battle, it evolved a little early. That's actually grounds for Gary's Raticate not dying on the S.S. Anne.
You can get under leveled Pidgeotto in Yellow, so it's not illegal
I love how the "give the water type trainer a blue not water type Pokémon" gag persists.
Why not just give the Kahunas their island's respective Oricorios? For Hala Pom-Pom Oricorio has the same role as Pikachu, for Olivia Pa'u Oricorio is good against grass and fighting, for Nanu Baile Oricorio is again good against fighting and for Hapu Sensu Oricorio is good against grass.
@alieoinhoughintyre6762 It does work.
That makes sense
@alieoinhoughintyre6762 why not? It’s not like Mikey had a problem with repeat pokemon and this also makes thematic sense as it’s also a way for them to represent their islands.
That would be pretty cool. Plus, I just really like Oricorio, and seeing it more often would always make me smile.
it does work for all of them as well
13:54 You forgot that Pikachu can be caught in the forest leading to her town and considering there are many bug types there, there's a good chance she accidentally found one while photographing bugs
Guess Clay was so powerful he doesn't need to cheat
I would've given him Vullaby or Druddigon or maybe Gigalith but that would be boring
I’d personally go with Eelektrik. Tynamo is available in Chargestone Cave, which Clay gives you access to in Black and White, and it having levitate makes it immune to his own Ground moves in double battles. Plus it counters Water, which his ace Excadrill doesn’t resist.
Also I’m surprised just how many options there are just around Driftveil City. Tynamo, Joltik, Ferroseed, Deerling, Foongus, Vanillite and probably more I’m forgetting.
I would've given an Emolga, since it deals with both grass and water types, plus it can be found nearby on route 6
By that logic Joltik or Galvantula would also be a nice fit for him. Not only does its Bug typing neutralize the weakness to his own Ground attacks, it also provides a counter to Grass-type opponents. Not to mention, if modernized it could get access to Sticky Web.
I surfed him down... But he usually is difficult, yeah
9:10 also Barry idolizes Wake and adds a Heracross to his team starting in battles after the fifth gym
19:59 You are correct! Salt is in fact used to bake a lot of dishes. Salt is universally important when cooking anything since it "activates" a lot of ingredients, and that includes stuff like breads and even cakes.
Not to mention Nacli looks like a cupcake
Also, BAKING soda is a kind of salt
Drop all instructions and give me a brownie recipe
Just poking my head in to point out that Katy is not just a baker, she is a patissier. Someone who deals with sweet baked goods. Such things will often include ingredients like, but not limited to, salted caramel.
Yup I’m a baker and I mix doughs! Salt is used in almost every recipe
16:56 you missed the perfect opportunity for Team Sky to pop up and throw a fit about someone bringing pokemon from different regions and not having them taken by customs
Vespiquen is in the galar pokedex though
@tristanclough587 I was talking about Ludicolo coming from Hoenn
@jpancakes3167 ludicolo is also in Galar's Pokedex :))
Very well aware of that and im glad it is 🤣 i suppose for all reading this(original comment and responses)I should clarify it was a missed opportunity for Team Sky (GOO TEAM SKY!!) To appear at the point of him saying "or just caught one and Brought it with him.
Wouldn’t Croagunk make perfect sense for Wake? It’s a Poison type which resist Grass types and it’s found in the Great Marsh close to Pastoria City. He even hosts a Croagunk-related event in the anime.
That actually sounds much better! And it would also benefit from the rain set up in his BDSP rematch thanks to Dry Skin.
And he's also blue so it adds up!
and the cardboard cutout
Poo
good point
4:25 honestly, I think she'd be an absolute *menace* if she got the modern reboot, which makes me inclined to want it more- Give that woman a Hisuan Zorarark I beg of you, Game Freak-
"Your 30s snuck up on you fast huh?" This had be dying LMFAO 😂😂😂
The sad yes killed me!!
I'm turning 30 in 8 months. Eesh...
@shinyivyflare Me too! I was already chuckling, but the sad "yes" made me fall out of my chair!!
@dawnsbunearyits really not that bad 😊
@DarthGalik666well, my guardian (yes I need a guardian cause I'm autistic), who is also my father, doesn't really allow me to have any freedom. I'm just waiting for my situation to change so I can FINALLY live my life the way I want.
“I am aware this is stupid, thank you.” 20:16 IM USING THIS IN REAL LIFE
6:04 Imagine playing a new Pokemon game for the first time and the first gym leader uses a pseudo legendary Pokemon. Best part is you probably wouldn’t know it was a pseudo until late in the game.😂
fr though, feel like that would be cool if they did 😂
Well fortunately a Bagon that early in the game wouldn't be too scary, esp in gen 3. Assuming Roxanne didn't teach it Rock Tomb, it's only other attacking moves at that lvl are Bite and Rage. Bite would be a little scary but it's special in gen 3 so for Bagon it's gonna be more of a nibble. gen 4 and after that Bagon is literally gonna eat your team.
I had to watch the Blaine explanation so many times “look at man’s domeeeee” had me howling
They’re never beating the type allegations
the most underrated comment ever. im dead😭💔
Real
@neo90007 Mind explaining the joke? I don't get it...
10:22 damn even your alter ego starts roasting your age
I MEAN GRUNY BOI AND MICHEAL ARE TWO VERY DIFFERENT PEOPLE
Yea I agree and I’m totally not being forced against my will
Viola having Pikachu is perfect for her job as well, it can help with the lighting of the photographs with flash! :)
I need this dude to just make a romhack with all these ideas
6:28 no he'd have John Michael winggul
Yes JOHN MICHAEL WINGGUL
20:24 No, yeah, I see it. How is this the first time someone made that connection?
Umm, I think Steene is a bit underdesigned to be a V-Tuber, those tend to be way more over-designed (to exaggerated proportions, sometimes).
@toumabyakuyamost starting Vtubers tend to be less designed, take Ironmouse as an example, her first model was basically just a girl with little devil wings, tail and horns with mouse ears, that's it, as time went on, Vtubers got more and more overly designed, too be more stand out and unique
@vetayamale1830 Sure, I honestly only know the newer ones.
I mean if I were a V-Tuber I’d probably commission a Steenee avatar model. But hey that’s just me!
@SophiaScragg-hz3mm a legally distinct Steenie model. Gotta dodge the Nintendo lawyers.
I like the callbacks to other videos he's made. Mainly his "If gym leaders had two types", where there are a few overlaps with choices from that video. But also from Team Sky's Black playthrough where he was frustrated by the lack of flying types early on.
I also watch a couple vtubers that react to Mikey, so thanks Katie for mentioning it.
Scarlet/Violet did this, BUT the only Gym Leader to take advantage of the Terastilzation mechanic was Iono. Her ace, Mismagius, becomes electric-type, spams ChargeBeam, and her ability makes her immunte to electric's weakness. So while you CAN sweep all the gyms in SV with a singular/overleveled Pokemon with a tyoe-advantage, Iono does at least give you a slight challenge.
To be fair, Brassius also does something similar, at least offensively. His Grass types are weak to Fire and Flying, which Sudowoodo has STAB Rock for. And in case someone comes in with fighting types as well, he turns off Sudowoodo's weakness to it and gives Sudowoodo access to a new STAB Trailblaze. If the rest of his team wasn't so laughable, I think the Sudowoodo could have been a great anchor.
Alas, Petilil and Smoliv are such non-entities that you might as well be fighting against one Pokémon.
I would also argue Iono also makes it hard in general in addition to Electric-Terastalization of a Levitate Pokémon. You have Wattrel which means Ground moves don’t hit and it can set up Tailwind. Then there is the hard hitting Luxio. Then is the unreasonably tanky Bellibolt that can even saddle you with an Electric weakness via Soak. And to top it off, then she has the reasonably difficult Mismagius. Iono is just a cut above the rest. Larry is second, but it’s distant because his Pokemon are just good in general.
@iantaakalla8180 Iono is probably the best gym leader for the level they're at since probably Lenora in Gen 5 (that Retaliate is SCARY).
8:40 every time I see Fantina (because I never played the actual sinnoh games) all that comes into my head is “you and you’re opulent dress must fall!”😂😂😂😂
In most version of the game she is based on a person from an english speaking country but in the english games she is French
She totally should've showed up in Kalos just like contests
10:15
Glad that John actually sent him that hoodie.
13:42 The problem with Iris using Aggron is, she would only have access to Unova mon as gym leader
17:35 Of course, Morgrem, the most famous ghost fairy type :d
The best one.
18:26 So hear me out on this one. Why not swap them? So the Gym leader would get the fighter the player *can't* get in the game, implying that the player can't get the pokémon because the Gym leader made the trade first? Also, it would give you the opportunity to trade one and see the other in the fight.
Goated refresh pull
The "I believe... i am not the baker is 1000% going into next year's compilation of funny moments
Since Mikey forgot about Clay, I think he should get either Sigilyph (to deal with the grass and fighting types) or Whimsicott (to deal with the water and fighting types) since two of his Pokémon are also weak to fighting
wait Whimsicott would also fit his cowboy theme! Whimsicott could potentially reference dust bowls or rolling brambles (since we don't have Bramblin to work with), maybe?
I like Whimsicott for Clay, because it later becomes a Fairy type and ties in with his daughter's team. Clay having a Whimsicott as his only cute Pokemon in a team of tough Pokemon could have inspired Lacey to do something similar and have Excadrill as her only tough Pokemon in a team of cute Pokemon. Plus, she also has a Whimsicott on her team, so that would be another connection between them.
He is a Southern businessman, Shiny Whimsicott works great
I love that you gave some thought to why they'd have it rather than just what would be strong.
7:35 that avian shiftry is actually really cool, i think i like it more than the original design
If there's going to be a Legends game that takes place in Hoenn, a shiftry form like that should be available to catch
@beebee4639 they definitely gotta see it through
i feel like the dex entry makes perfect sense after see the potential there if it was a bird
5:43
The reason for this is actually quite deep,
They both hold: some kind of leak
Mind you, farfetched doesn't count, as it's weak to fighting, not a counter to it.
Most of these fit so well, I am shocked they are not on the original team
20:23 Poseidon and Kip are pop off so hard when they see this
That's exactly what I was thinking too 😂
yesss
We need to let them know
Expecting a minute rant from kip (More likely gonna get a laughing fit) and a very surprised Poseidon, will be entertaining
2:11 is that a TCG reference? Because it is!
I see I'm not the only one that immediately thought of "Gym Heroes".
@3:44 To add insult to injury, Kabutops should learn metal sound + absorb/mega drain/giga drain since grass is super effective against all three of fire's weaknesses: water, rock, and ground.
20:01 Yeah, you do need salt for a lotta baking ingredients
Forgetting Clay is neither rootin nor tootin
Imagine if there was a Ground gym leader with a Sand Veil Cacturne on their team, that would be a nightmare
Edit: Combine it with a lead Hippopotas in a gen with permanent weather
Clay
Um we got ice pokemon i think it wont be a nightmare
Tbh, this should've been Raihan.
@darranroberts6191sand veil increases invasion
actually, there IS a “ground gym leader” with a full evasion based sand team featuring a Cacnea
it’s Justy from XD and his is regarded as one of the most universally frustrating battles in the entire game despite every single one being doubles
especially without an ice type to deal with gligar it is HELL
7:57 I thought you would say; "much like himself" ToT
I would still like a video on what if gym leaders had a home field advantage. Like water gym leaders with permanent rain, rock and ground leaders with permanent sandstorm, Poison leaders with toxic spikes set up. Etcetera.
20:30 Shoutout to @PoseidonMythos and @SeisTrident. I love her reactions to Mikey’s videos!
ok two things:
1. first does two names are the same person
2. i wanna add that a vtuber called maplemaple plus also started reacting to mikeys content
@leofrog9yes, Sei’s trident is the second channel of Poseidon Mythos
really hope she reacts to this video now
@DrJose2014 she did just recently
One thing I notice about the dark horse or wild card pokemon is that its usually an encounterable Pokemon proximal to the town or city the gym is hosted in.
You can find octillary by fishing with super rod near sunny shores coast, or medicham along the path to snowpoint city. All of this is to clue the observant trainer in on possible loose canons the gym leader may throw at them.
The gym leader is the all encompassing representation of not just their specialty but the surrounding that leads up to or makes up their home: the terrain, the land marks, weather, etc.
All to test and inagurate the making of a champion that not only conquers pokemon battles but the terrain making up the region. The region itself is an obstacle.
13:00 i forgot about brycen-man its so funny
Sei tridant shoutout crazy
"30 snuck up on you fast, huh?" LMAO..... same.
Here's mine for 9:
Katy would use Naclstack, because it looks like a cake
Brassius would use Naclstack, because it looks like statue
Iono would use Naclstack, because it looks like Minecraft mob and is salty (she's a streamer)
Kofu would use Naclstack, because it looks like a table
Larry would use Naclstack, because it it's pretty bland
Rhyme would use Naclstack, because it is a Rock type, like her sister's specialty
Tulip would use Naclstack, because it salt is a natural ingredient for products
and finally, Grusha would use Nosepass, because your nose turns red in the cold
We've found the #1 Naclstack fan.
OK, that actually got me, I was waiting for you to try and give a reasoning as to why Grusha should get Naclstack. 😂😂
(To be fair, though, under the rules he was using, only Katy, Brassius, Tulip, and Grusha could realistically use it.)
@System3RR0R3Dim glad you liked my silly take on it. Naclstack and Nosepass/Probopass are some of my fav mons for the sake of jokes, because theyre hilarious with names that are fun to say
Love the idea of the Golem being his training boulder🤣
yooo that editors note! I hope poseidon sees it
“I’m aware that this is stupid… thank you”😂 absolutely peak commentary
16:45 it’s kinda on brand for his sheep herding too
Larry having a Gothorita is a really funny concept to me.
8:26 and it also won the 2014 world championships
The short you made of this works as an effective ad
11:18 massive issue with this is that it will know dragon rage naturally at this point in the game without the devs manually changing a learnest/its specific moveset for the fight which can and will OHKO your entire team
Yeah, the triplets are good as they were. This just makes them overpowered and cheaters! Like Candice and Volkner!
True unless they remove dragon rage and give it something else you would have to train a lot just for a early game gym
@Omen2326Hah, train to a high enough level to where you have over 40 HP? In the gen 5 level based experience formula?! Nice joke
And? Rollout cow.
20:46 DELELELELELELELE WOOOOOOOOP
4:59 are you assuming he's chucking the golem for his training and at birds in SKY?!
4:49 I’d give him a stantler, it’s a normal type who counters ghosts and makes a lot of thematic sense with its Pokédex entries
1:08 "I had to do it to them" moment
Considering you gave Bea a ghost type pokemon, i think it would be cool if Allistor got a fighting type to match and it would still work since its good against dark types.
12:38 What happen to Clay?
I noticed that too. I think Clay should have Galvantula on his team to cover his Ground Type Pokemon's weakness to Water. You also have to talk to him (at least in Black and White 1) to have him open the way to the Chargestone Cave.
found dead in route 6
He was canceled by Saltydkdan.
@thequagestclodsire lol
@rainbowrunner1550It also hits Grass for Super effective
“Janine can just use a scyther too” perfect chance for scizor
20:06 yes. Yes you need salt in some baked food
"The man lives in Hoenn. He's seen thousands of wingull."
*cue that scene from finding nemo*
8:00 Also, Wallace CAN use Froslass, but Juan cannot, since Wallace is in ORAS, but Juan is only in Emerald
3:47 missed opportunity to call him a fossil with a dome
I actually wouldn’t mind it if moving forward they switch to themes and strategies to base gyms off of, as it can allow for some way more unique teams! For example, a baker gym leader has food-based Pokémon, and they don’t have to stick to one type. From a gameplay perspective, it’s also more refreshing since having a monotype gym means that a good amount of the time all you need is a type-effective Pokémon to sweep it. That’s also why Raihan is one of the better gym battles imo, since being in doubles and not having one type to stick to made it a fair amount more challenging. So yeah, gym leaders should cheat more often!
Lockstin did just thatbfor his fangame! In the Kaskade region, then gym-leaders and Elite Four have themes instead of types.
5:05 just imagining him throwing the golem...
7:34 There should totally (but never will) be a Paradox Shiftry based on that design/concept
Unova (u never) know, there could be a legends game.
“Your 30’s really caught up to you” man grunty boi is savage
Did anybody noticed that he forgot Clay?
For me personally I would give him Emolga since Electric is Strong against Water and Flying is Strong against Grass plus an immunity to Ground and Strong against Fighting two of Excadrill’s Weaknesses and it can somewhat fit him since he can use it’s electricity to power his mechanics in his Gym
Or maybe Plusle or Minun. They fit some of what you already said, and Lacey uses them
@Rikken552 I don't see Clay using Plusle or Minun. Heck, no respectable Gym Leader should use those things.
@miikaroos3809his daughter literally uses them in the intro double battle for blueberry academy
@Rikken552It's a great fit but Emolga Cover more weaknesses on his Team and Plusle and Minun aren't in the B2W2 Unova Dex
2:11 lt. Surge also has a fearow in the tcg so this makes even more sense
5:55 Ice is already countered by the Dragonair's 'Fire Blast', while fairy is neither countered nor resisted by any of her Pokémon...
Well, a Charizard would resist Fairy.
1:45 if only it could learn moves of those types
0:47, it would mean the only pokemon that would be strong against Candice would be rapidash since the only other fire type is infernale and it would be weak to psychic
You can also get Magmar around the Fuego Ironworks and he's a solid fire type but the ironworks are kinda out of the way.
@seanmcdermott716platinum only
@seanmcdermott716wrong version,that’s platinum
Missed opportunity to give Hala Pom Pom oricorio since it counters popplio too
I would add the fourth caveat that the cheat pokemon learns and knows a move of the type they specialize in
Or even the Gym's TM.
@solitare4602 Ideally. I mean we saw that with Diamond & Pearl Volkner where Octillery knew Charge Beam and Ambipom had Shock Wave (since Ambipom can't learn Charge Beam), and Candice's Medicham had Ice Punch
Grunty Boy has really embraced a hero arc, lol 😂❤
15:20 Ground doesn't resist bug. Bug resists ground. For some reason. You are correct though that Golurk resists bug, but that's due to the ghost-type. Which i also don't understand
I noticed this as well, I think bug resists ground because a lot of bugs are found in the ground/soil? No idea why ghost resists bug though
@reckage7It's probably for the same reason Fairy resists Bug. Because GameFreak hates the Bug type
@reckage7Ghosts probably don’t care about parasites all that much.
20:10 I also like the idea of Brassius using Tadbulb to either serve as a natural light at night for an oil painting, or in general providing different lights when painting irl references even in the day time.
There’s also Flint in the Elite Four of Sinnoh, who only has like 2 or 3 Fire Types
Yeah, Diamond and Pearl had a truly horrible Pokédex. If only they had made Candice, Volkner and Flint the first three Gym Leaders or something, then maybe they still could have been actual type specialists with only two or three Pokémon.
I know that team was by necessity and not by choice, but I liked that his (and Volkner's) teams were so diverse and I wish more gym leaders and E4 members were like that.
I fully thought this was gonna be in the style of when your DLC rival in the isle of armor cheats by setting effects pre battle
3:50 I was really hoping for Raichu here as a nod to the anime. He just got tired of waiting and got it himself
Giovanni: Fine. I’ll do it myself.
The funny thing is, Giovanni did never actually care about Ash's Pikachu one bit. Jessie, James and Meowth just assumed he would like it, so they wasted 25 years trying to steal it. I still don't understand why Giovanni never fired them.
1:42 useful against fighting types too
13:33 no she couldn't, and neither could Drayden in the originals. Aggron is not in the base Unova Dex. Same case with Corphish in the Burgh point, it wouldn't work in the first BW.
to me that just sounds like every one of them using a full restore at low health
Pretty sure Froslass is not in the Hoenn regional dex.
Only in the remakes.
Definitely not in the RSE Hoenn dex, what with it being a Gen 4 mon... does make me wonder how ORAS handled this and other later gen relatives of mons that were available in RSE... Also can't recall how FRLG and HGSS handled these things and I actually played those...
@JefferyMewtamer HGSS added 5 Pokémon to the Johto Pokédex - FRLG left the original Kanto dex as it was.
When i saw the conduction headphones i cackled and put mine on
20:47 *dopamine release*
dededele wooooop
Well now I want a mega shiftry based off that dex entry
I literally just opened RUclips 😭
Same bro ❤️🩹
Same bro
Same
Same twin
Same mud
Ironically, when we did a Pokémon League VGC where I am, this was something we had. 4/6 had to match our type specialty, and the other 2 were allowed to be wild cards of our choosing. For me I was a Psychic specialist, but used Tapu Koko as a wild card, mainly for Alolan Raichu.
20:31 Poseidon will scream without the S
I was thinking the same thing, like even the thumbnail looks like a reference to Sei's thumbnails
Love her reaction videos
Literallyyy
Magneton also counters enemy ice types
This would be crazy
Fun Idea/Video suggestion, How about having to choose what 150 Pokémon you’d have if you had to make the ultimate Pokémon game and were limited to only 150 Pokémon?
For me, my main 150 would be:
Starters:
Bulbasaur line (147)
Squirtle line (144)
Charmander line (141)
(Can’t beat the OG’s)
Other Pokémon to fill out the other main 150 spaces:
Obtainable Pokémon (either through catching, gift or in-game event):
Pikachu line (138), Riolu & Lucario (136), Muchlax & Snorlax (134), Magikarp & Gyrados (132), Seviper (131), Starly line (128), Abra line (125), Ghastly line (122), Budew line (119), Ryhorn line (116), Togepi line (113), Sneasal & Weavile (111), Tyrouge and all evolutions (107), Eevee and all evolutions (98), Magby line (95), Poliwag line (91), Elekid line (88), Skarmory (87), Ralts line (83), Solrock & Lunatone (81), Zubat line (78), Magnemite line (75).
Dragon Pokémon:
Axew line (72), Dratini line (68), Gible line (65) and Bagon line (62).
Catchable Legendaries:
Latias or Latios (60), Mew or Mewtwo (58), Darkrai (57), Cresscelia (56), Reshiram or Zekrom or Kyurem (53), Deoxys (52), Celebi (51).
Spaces left if anyone thinks there’s Pokémon that they think would make it in the top 150 most iconic Pokémon?
Some more suggestions:
Zangoose (50)
Golett & Golurk (48)
Mareep Line (45)
Weedle Line (42)
Hippopotas and Hippowdon (40)
Flabebe line (37)
Hawlucha (36)
Venipede Line (33)
Inkay and Malamar (31)
Binacle and Barbaracle (29)
Munna and Musharna (27)
Purrloin and Liepard (25)
For Legendaries:
Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, and Keldeo (21)
Tornadus, Thundurus, Landorus, and Enamorus (17)
Meloetta (16)
You can change anything that you don't like
@chibu8045 Definitely add Golett & Golurk (49), Weedle line (46), Mareep line (43), Hawlucha (42) and the Venipede line (39). I’d also add the Caterpie line (36).
I’m open to adding the Unova Dogs, but I think if we were making a game, adding them too as catchable legendaries may be too many.
@chibu8045
As I’d have Latias & Latios as the cover Pokémon for each game or maybe both on shared/ultimate game (like Emerald or Platinum). As I think they are incredibly popular and also very unique.
But if it was two games, I’d have Latias, Mew, Zekrom, Darkrai and Deoxys on one.
And Latios, Mewtwo, Cresscelia, Reshiram and Celebi on the other.
Both can get Kyurem, with the respective versions getting Black & White Kyurem respectively.
@gameofender4463 If we're doing version exclusives, I think Weedle and Venipede should be in opposite versions since they're both Bug/Poison type and can mega evolve
Some more version exclusives could be Zangoose and Seviper, Solrock and Lunatone, and the Magby and Elekid lines
Also a friendly reminder that Mewtwo's bst is 80 points higher than Mew's, and he has 2 mega evolutions, so I don't think making them version exclusives to each other would be a good idea
@chibu8045 That’s fair, I’m kinda torn on whether it should be one game or two. I think one is better as it’d be an ultimate game.
I get what you’re saying about Mew. But what I would say is that Mew is so incredibly rare to even have in a game that the rarity of having Mew itself is incredibly special.
