I stayed there in 1981. I was a 17 year old Brit. I studied California and Florida at school. The trip was so exciting. I loved everything about American life. I didn't want to go home. After leaving college I planned on returning but never did.

I first saw the fabulous Fountainebleau in 1955 as a wide eyed 7 yr old boy, visiting Miami Beach on one of many family vacations from New York..I loved seeing all the spectacular hotels along Collins Ave,particularly at night with the wondrous neon lites...My confusion here, is did the narrator Michael Aller stay at the Hotel as a paying guest, or was his residence there as part of his Tourism position promoting Miami Beach?

I was an employee of Ben Novack’s in the late 1990s with ‘Convention Concepts ‘ in Fort Lauderdale. I am saddened and shocked by both his and Berneice’s muders which were arranged by Narcy, Ben’s wife. I sat right next to Narcy at the registration desk of a Convention in Atlanta, and would never have thought someone this tragic could occur.

A lot of the famous properties have dark undercurrents with how they were utilized or the ownership it's not unusual..

We stayed there in 1969 and I remember getting the Miami herald when Apollo 11 landed and just looked at a series of pages and the one that stuck out in my mind was the one with color in it where the moon lander was coming down and it was in the back it was not on the front page may have been the second or third page in so I can't go back and take a look around 50 plus years later unless Im a guest right.. too bad I will be staying down there again and I'm going to move there probably..
