have to agree with the event answer, went to my first convention last week....honestly prices were good, but just the amount of games available in one spot is amazing
So happy I found this one of the best gaming channels on RUclips definitely the top 3.. especially now that I'm trying to collect and get back some of the games I owned as a kid. When you're a kid you don't always think of collecting games you just want the next best game so you go and trade in to get the new game and that's what I did. I had many very rare games most of the games on the rare game list for ps1 and Sega Genesis. So I think this channel is just great hope you keep this thing going for a long time plus you seem like a good dude.
Game conventions, lukie games, and Ebay have been my go to for retro and last generation consoles. I love seeing the stuff even for systems I don't have or have anymore, hunting and collecting has been and still is such a blast.
This was my first year hitting up Cowlitz, it was great seeing you and some others of the Metal Jesus crew and finding games for my collection. I stuck to Vita games, ended up getting 6 new titles. These meetups are the best way to find games these days, I was shocked at the amount of games available.
Reggie you should write a book about how to buy video games. Your knowledge and experience is unparalleled in the gaming industry. I would definitely contribute to that Kickstarter.
Awesome video Reggie!! Too Many Games Convention coming to Philly area in June. Clock Tower for PS1 is one of my all time favorite games! Didn’t realize Clock Tower influenced by The Burning. Phenomena is such a cool movie. Keep up the great work!!
2:03. I recognize that Star Wars: Pod Racer cartridge instantly. Spent an ungodly amount of hours in my freshmen year of high school racing TF outta that game. That game is STILL ridiculously fun. I pulled out my Dreamcast and just realized they have it for Dreamcast. You already know what time it is ! B/
I have a few stores near me called The Exchange, and they have tons of retro games and systems. Some stores have certain games that other ones don’t have, so I frequent all of them.
It takes both thrifting (stores/marketplace/craigslist) and game stores. You keep what you want from thrifting and trade in your useless stuff into places that give great trade credit. I have a couple stores near me that give me the same amount of credit I would have sold the items at. Bonus is I don't have to hold onto the games/systems for al ong time until they sell.
I would also check out the local dollar store. My local Family Dollar was selling used games for $5. I picked up Final Fantasy Theathrythm Courtain Call, Lego Lord of the Rings, Lego The Hobbit for 3DS As for DS games I got Lego Batman and Lego Marvel Superheros.
Everythings hit or miss nowadays , these shows are the place to go to spend top dollar lol i like seeing the amount of doubles they have to sit on tho.
I use letgo and Facebook marketplace. Letgo is a cool app to buy and sell, it's like a modern day Craig's list (minus the murder) I usually check it a couple times a week and I've bought a lot of games from people on there. Just meet in public and daylight.
I'm starting to buy games for my highly neglected ps3 slim. I never really played the ps3 much, because I was so much more into pc gaming at the time, and I bought it in Jan 2012 for GTA V and The Last of Us (when they eventually came out) only pretty much. I got it for $150 brand new with MW3 and Skyrim, so that was a damn robbery lol.
Its hard to collect for my fav system, PS1 mostly b/c those jewel cases are so fragile, its hard to find a ps1 in original packaging that doesn't look like ass
Hey Reggie I thought your video was awesome! Can you tell me where I can find these events whether that be from an online website for a gaming expo? I’m seeing some of the game prices at some game stores and I feel half dead on the inside (saw a copy of paper Mario 64 for 90 dollars lol)
Reggie ive been racking my brain the past few days trying to remember an old side scrolling game i used to play in 1996. I dont remember if it was nes or snes but it was a barbarian type game that was pretty challenging. Help!
i found my playstation 2 a few days ago and i tried it out to see if it worked and luckily it did but i couldn't find any games if anyone has ps2 games that they dont want i can buy it from u
@@The_RadicalOne I go round car boot sales and pick up what I can for cheap. It's very hit and miss though and nowadays it's very rare to find any old Nintendo or sega games and when you do the seller usually wants silly money.

Is that Master Gundam on the shelf?

You don’t mess around Reggie! You were just talking about Linkle Liver on your stream not that long ago.
I bought Bendy as per your recommendation 😃 @bagman
Jon Kratz sweet! Played it yet? Switch, PS4, Xbox One?
@@WS6xxStarscreamxx Switch! Haven't played it yet, but I plan on doing so soon. It's #3 on my list 🤣

Any place for international ppl to buy? We have almost zero retro presence in South Africa let alone a convention 😔
what happened with the first upload?

What's the name of the convention? Also does it go to different states?
Reggie, where can I get that English copy of Linkle Liver story? I've been wanting a full case and translated manual forever
You need Darkstalker Chronicles for PSP
I want to collect games for my N64 but the games are too expensive
How much did you spend altogether on those pick ups?
Mostly did trades, but I can’t remember exactly
