I don’t trust anyone except Tollywood to make Indian epics as of now because they were exposed to large numbers of film made on Indian Epics & Puranas. The greatest film ever made Mayabazar (1957) shows how Twood ethos lies whereas Bwood call Mughal-E-Azam as their greatest film which shows their bias. Ss Rajamouli is the one who should make Indian Epics because he respects & showed his love for it - he's a Sanatani who follows Dharma. 🚩
Prabhas is also from Tollywood and half of the production budget (other than VFX & promotion cost) of Adipurush was spent on paying his acting fee only.
And what was Adipurush an epic disaster, so please leave this thought.

@@pa-hx4hl 1st of all Allu Arvind is involved because of Madhu Mantena. Actually Mahesh babu was asked to play Shri Ram & Hrithik as Raavan but both turned it down. This will be a Bollywood production out & out. And it is not made by Twood filmmakers. There will definitely be distortions - In Telugu there was a procedure similar to ayyappa mala rules when someone made films on Indian epics. But in bwood they have no experience nor respect towards the epics.

Bollywood is hell bent on ending the careers of South Actors. After Bahubaali part 2 prabhas was at peak of his acting but then when he entered bollyowood all 3 bollyowood movies have flopped. The same thing is they are going to do with Rocking Star Yash. They will destroy his bollyowood career as well. Take it for guarantee.
Btw Yash would have been a better chocie for Lord Ram rather than Ranvir kapoor playing as Lord Ram
Prabhas made a mistake when he signed 3 film deal with T-series. He should have never entered Bollywood.
Even before Adipurush, Prabhas has given two disasters namely Saaho & Radhey Shyam. Prabhas is highly over rated. So, it's not only Bollywood to blame. When he charges Rs. 150 crores for Adipurush he doesn't have any responsibility.

Saaho was his gamble with a 1 film old director & it backfired, still Saaho is good in technical aspects. Radhe Shyam was 1st film in T series deal & followed Adipurush. Prabhas must hv realised by now to never associate with Bwood production houses. Also he's paid for 3 film not a single film and the amount is not disclosed as 3rd film is not yet done. Bwood doesn’t hv exp in making movies on Indian epics - Bwood calls Mughal-E-Azam their greatest film and takes Sufi philosophy as inspiration.

Couldn't he see himself in mirror while preparing for Adipurush, where he saw super aggressive Lord Ram with moustaches and six pack abs body. Now coming to Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, Ranbir Kapoor suits best for Shri Ram role both looks and acting wise. Till date he has never disappoint in any of his role in any movie look or acting wise, though film may be flop sometimes but you can't find fault with his work. He always do full preparation and put efforts for his role. We should decide on merits not on prejudices. I will not recommend Ranbir for any Gadar 2 or Simmba or Bahubali or KGF or Padmavat Khilji type roles, he is not suitable for that.

Yes, Prabhas is also responsible for Adipurush for sure, but don’t u knw that he was chosen by Om Raut & Prabhas's look is decided by Om Raut who also decided Saif Ali khan's look which looked more like Alauddin Khalji. // Dialogues in Hindi were said by Sharad Kelkar. Prabhas voice was only in Telugu & he said every chapri dialogue written by Manoj Muntashir in best way possible. Actor's job is do what the director wants. Say that you are okay with Ranbir as Shri Ram. Go read Valmiki's Ramayana, RK doesn’t come close to any looks of Shri Ram, Ranbir has more Persian features. Shri Ram was dark in colour & tall. Adipurush sucked because it was made by Bollywood. I grew up watching Swood & Twood films and movies based on Indian culture are always shown with utmost respect in both. Adipurush failure was never Prabhas fault, he was not utilised by Director & the whole film is a mess. Also Prabhas is obliged to do complete his 3 film deal with T series regardless of the output.

I have no expectations from this one. You cant just make a film based on our mahakavya like ramayan just to cash in on indians' sentiments. Even if it's better than adipurush( which was a disgusting mockery of ramayana) in terms of costumes and graphics it atill can't come even close to ramanand sagar's ramayana series. Period. Bollywood should stay light years away from our history. They will add masala and some leftist narratives and distort the history. Only south cinema can do justice to the epic that too only if SS Rajamouli takes it on.
