I think it's sad that because someone is in the public eye, and, in his case, A LOT, that they owe us an explanation for who they are... I think he's one of the kindest, most authentic, soul out there and he should be allowed to just be himself - whatever that means. This world is already so tough and sad at times, if you can find love, true love, whether it's with someone of the same sex or not, my god just go for it! There are moments where I questioned my sexuality, too, and there are people in my life who were always in my corner and when I was feeling insecure, I would always think of Harry and instantly I would feel like whatever it is, it's okay. I'm sorry, but it really makes me sad that he has to go through that when he's nothing but supportive to tons of fans that he doesn't even know on a personal level. Support everybody regardless - and honestly why should it matter? I know it does, but long for the day when people don’t speculate, when sexuality and love is just nomal whoeber you preference is, as long as you don’t hurt anybody…

I remember when the Beatles left clues on album covers, in lyrics, and deep track embedded sounds that Paul McCartney was dead. Of course it was not true, but it was clever, created a mystic and intrigued fans. Harry is very worldly and very attractive, to both sexes. If he's not gay, he certainly is a fantastic advocate and I don't fault him one bit for his efforts. I think it's sad that because someone is in the public eye, and, in his case, A LOT, that they owe us an explanation for who they are... I think he's one of the kindest, most authentic, soul out there and he should be allowed to just be himself - whatever that means. This world is already so tough and sad at times, if you can find love, true love, whether it's with someone of the same sex or not, my god just go for it!
There are moments where I questioned my sexuality, too, and there are people in my life who were always in my corner and when I was feeling insecure, I would always think of Harry and instantly I would feel like whatever it is, it's okay.
I'm sorry, but it really makes me sad that he has to go through that when he's nothing but supportive to tons of fans that he doesn't even know on a personal level.
Leave the man alone - he's too precious and I hope he knows that we too are in his corner. (L)

I listened through the presentation, Cosmic Leeds- perhaps you are right. Harry is so popular, leaving people guessing is great for him right now. Everyone (well, at least gay men and ladies) love him and straight guys want to be him. Maybe when his popularity starts to decrease, perhaps 10 years from now, he will feel open to say the truth. Remember Ricky Martin? He came out later in his career.
I remember when the Beatles left clues on album covers, in lyrics, and deep track embedded sounds that Paul McCartney was dead. Of course it was not true, but it was clever, created a mystic and intrigued fans. Harry is very worldly and very attractive, to both sexes. If he's not gay, he certainly is a fantastic advocate and I don't fault him one bit for his efforts. If he is gay, one day our 28 year old golden boy, with any luck, will find the love of his life (and that mystery will be solved.) Either way, I'll still drool over him and enjoy his music.

I think he has a lot of influence with a whole generation and he’s destigmatizing being gay or being queer positive. I think that’s awesome. No one in my generation did that with such confidence or style.
