- We installed ZLR Doors (McLaren/Butterfly Style) from vertical doors inc. on this 2021 C8 HTC Corvette Stingray along with a full custom dream color chasing RGB underglow and even a custom sound system!!

This is really better than the simple vertical door, it actually took one step to open it rather than you have to pull it out and lift it

I think it’s improved since you don’t have to open a lil outwards then lift up. But I wish it went up higher vertically. It would be perfect if it could go higher like the Mclarens

I had the same thought. Went with the vertical doors on mine. Wish they opened higher, my buddy has the butterfly, just not quite as practical.

Ace slept under the car. That's dedication. On the door side I like the Lambo doors because they don't open as wide in parking lots. You can also clear your feet getting in and out. The swing doors look like they need a fair amount of room to fully open. Am I close?

Legit question on the doors. When the windows are up, does the conversion kit have something that rolls the window down an inch, or so when opening the door, and rolls the window back up when the door is closed so the window doesn't get damaged?
great question actually. So the stock sensors still operate as intended even with these door hinges. When you open the door from either side the window automatically drops for safe opening and stays that way till closed. there is also a feature on the C8 that i program in the infotainment to roll windows down all the way when long pressing the unlock button on fob for easier entry.

yes they do and no they do not hit. also there is a setting in the dash to program the key to roll the windows down before entry.
Good luck getting out in a regular parking spot with a vehicle next to you. The doors opening stock are hard enough as wide as they are
That’s the same thing we thought but we measured it and it’s literally damn near same as stock 🤯

They can open and close with the windows up but you can’t get in/out of the car with them up.
