Personally I think the laundry stuff works best for bigger items that aren’t washed as often, like blankets, sheets, comforters, that’s how I’ve been using them, and they’re amazing for that! Not sure how I’d feel about clothes, especially that price.
I cannot for the life of me comprehend why BBW would ever stop selling wax melts and then start selling laundry products. And then they're gonna start putting them in stores, but they constantly talk about how small the stores are as a justification for why they can't keep more product variety?

Right! I mean and as pretty as the display was for the laundry line there is no way a smaller store than the one I took the pictures in could carry it. I can sort of see how the outlet store near us would have room for it, but other than your larger Bath & Body Works stores, you could not carry laundry and expect to still have room for all your regular products. That area was all White Barn candles prior to this and my thought was, where are all the Christmas candles going to be displayed? I don’t know, we’ll see how it plays out. Apparently it has been popular thus far, but will people continue to use it? Without a sale the price point is high if you figure it out per load compared to a bottle of Tide or whatever detergent people use. It’s just confusing to me. 🤷🏼♀️
I want to try the fragrance booster.. i remember way back in the day in the 90's when BBW was kind of like a country store they came out with laundry soaps and i had the Plumeria scent. They didn't sell very well back then but i'll give it a try!
BONNIE- you can use whatever you want with whatever you want. You can buy Tide detergent and use Downy booster beads. But I'm here to tell you that the only thing that seems to make a difference in my opinion are awesome dryer sheets. I'm going to wash a blanket with fragrance-free detergent and spray a little bit of fragrance spray from one of the Bath and Body Works and see if it does anything LOL

Agree! Dryer sheets are the final say lol.
I hear they have dryer sheets made detergent so you don't waste the plastic bottles for the environment.
I also would love wax melts they were great when they had them and they already make candles/ had them in the past so this would be a more logical step. To use the beads you just sprinkle some on your laundry before you wash they are simple 😂 i tend to use alot of them i do big loads though. I would only try these at 75% off. The laundry detergent sample was a fail so umm not sure i wld even get this at 75% off.

I wish Bath & Body Works would just stay in their lane and improve upon the quality of their products! We want fine fragrance mists to last longer and Vanilla Bean No Smell to smell. 😂
I'm definitely going to try these out, I wouldn't mind my clothes smelling like I washed them with my shower gel 😂
I don't think the laundry products are available in Canada and if they were I would not purchase. I feel like it's very strange for BBW to do. BBW should stick with what they are known for. Laundry detergent is a cleaning product. Not a body product. Most people are set with what they use for laundry products. I too use fragrance free laundry detergent. Same goes with the gummies BBW was doing. I would be a little wary ingesting something from BBW so again it's not something I would purchase. That's just me though. I think they should bring back the miniature candles or the wax melts. These were great to test out before purchasing a full sized candle. They were great to give as stocking stuffers as well during the Christmas season. I recently found 3 unlit Vampire Blood miniature candles and a couple of Fall ones. I would like to see women's deodorant as well.
Their laundry detergent sucks. I used the sample on a small load yesterday and my wash cloths still stunk 😢
No1 is gonna pay $20 for laundry detergent/boosters when it can only do less than 10 loads. And their competitors always have detergent on sale. This will probably be a online only thing because not even the hair care products are in store.
We have hair care in the stores that are in our area; I guess I assumed hair care was in all stores. That really stinks people can’t even find that in stores. 😕
The detergent bottles wash 64 small loads or 32 large loads. I will say this (even though I’m not a huge fan of the detergent) it is very concentrated! No matter what, they are definitely something that I’d look for a sale on because per load compared to Tide it’s definitely expensive.
@@Nicole_0421 yeah but tide is always on sale. This won't be. I'm not gonna be waiting for this to go on sale so I can wash my clothes. Lol.
@@s.r6331 Totally get it. $12.97 for a bottle of Tide (and that’s not on sale) is a lot easier for me to justify than $19.95 for a bottle of scented soap that doesn’t leave a scent on clothes. Agreed, I’m not waiting for a sale on anything when it comes to washing clothes; I’m washing my clothes when they need to be washed.
Bonnie I think the fragrance booster are like the downy unstoppable beads that they’ve been selling in the stores I have them and they work very very well and you don’t even need to use Many.

Another scooby doo mystery is why some some detergents have the matching scent boosters and others don’t. I’ve seen where a thousand wishes doesn’t have the matching fragrance booster 🤨
They have more freaking laundry sense than they do shampoo or perfume does anybody notice there's never any perfume in the store but there's a thousand men's colognes, plus deodorant face wash face moisturizer scrub Etc

I’m going to pass on the laundry detergent- I have sensitive skin.
I agree deodorant for women would be nice. Especially in Champagne Toast. I use fragrance booster beads in my laundry, but I use Downy. I read reviews that the Bath & Body Works Beads don't melt and there is a mess in the washer after the wash it done. I might try Vampire Blood if they do release it for Halloween. I've always used Tide. I hate to change detergents.
You’re fine using the fragrance booster with your Tide Free, no worries Bonnie. The booster beads just get tossed in your washer before your clothes go in.

I can’t decide how I feel about the detergent, but I’m a fan of the fragrance booster beads. The dryer balls are super cute too.

@@care-a-lot1051 I definitely understand where you’re coming from. I washed a small load of clothes with one ounce of my sample (measures out) and my clothes didn’t stink, but there was no scent at all when they came out of the dryer. Then I take into consideration I would not use the Bath & Body Works detergent as a pre-treater. I know Tide with Bleach Alternative gets out just about anything we get on our laundry and why would I buy a scented laundry detergent that leaves no scent behind..? Tide Free works fine when I am not washing excessively stained items and I generally use that which also leaves my clothes unscented. So for me the fragrance boosters make sense, but the laundry detergent just makes me say in my head, it literally makes no sense financially or logically when I consider how I use my current detergent. So that’s how I’m currently looking at the detergent aspect I guess. 🤷🏼♀️
My 2 cents, as an RN who's had everything on her clothes possible-I stand by adding baking soda and a little bit of the Lysol sanitizer, I use tide but I also use Purcell or something. I tried the Bath and Body Works stuff , but for $20 it's it doesn't leave your clothes smelling like vanilla lavender.. and ,the booster Beads no matter what type I've bought eventually I've had clothes that they've melted into and change the color in certain areas..
And, if they don't " melt" properly, you get a nice pop of color on ur laundry.😢
I like how in the set up it's says the world's best candles but have laundry detergent instead 😂

They have dry shampoo. Just ordered one.
@@s.r6331 ya i had one in the scent summer melody and loved it. But they're free and far between.. usually products like dry shampoo & moisturizing body washes only come in the signature scents, which usually aren't my jam..

I would also love to try the laundry boosters because I use Downy lavender and vanilla but I'm going to stick with my downy because it's about half the price and it works great!

I have to use special deodorant (very sensitive) so I wouldn't buy BBW deodorant personally. I also don't use wax melts. They smell nice for however long but then you have to clean them out of the holder and some fragrance always stays behind. They are just messy to me.

I'm set with my current laundry detergent and booster beads. I can't see paying that price for detergent or beads.
I prefer my clothes to smell like what I spray on. I usually use unscented because I don’t like laundry scents. But lately I have been using my Avon laundry sheets and love those. I did order the laundry detergent a while back and it was ok. I just didn’t see it as a game changer for me. Curious to know what others think? I do think many will like it.
I got boosters when they did the $15 sale last month. There were fewer options at that time. I got Cactus blossom, lavender vanilla and Mahogany teakwood and love them all. Will definitely buy again (on sale). Directions on bottle are easy to follow... Add to bottom of wash tub before clothes. I combine with my nonscented Nellie's wash soap and have really enjoyed using this product!!

I love scent booster so much! I made a comment before the laundry detergent came out that I think it would be cool to half bath and Bodyworks make laundry detergent so that my blankets cause smell like Bath and Bodyworks, I didn’t even realize they had sent boosters till today, and I always love to buy scent boosters at the stores

Ive tried the Sundrenched linen laundry detergent from BBW but haven't tried the booster yet because it wasn't out at the time .I have already used up my Sundrenched linen laundry detergent and i personally love it. I usually use persil laundry detergent but decided to give BBW's a try..I've heard the booster beads really enhanced the scent as well so its best to use the booster with the detergent...A small amount goes a long way and sindrenched linen smells sooo good.. sun-drenched linen is actually in my Top 10 favorite candles from BBW.. I just ordered another bottle of the sun-drenched linen laundry detergent and ordered the booster beads since their out now in Sundrenched linen this time as well and even though i love it i will always have my persil laundry detergent on hand also . I too would love to see bbw bring the wax melts back .😊

What I want to know is did anyone have problems with spillage when you got your laundry detergent shipment. I did and it was horrible. I had to clean
the bottles for a long time in the sink (still have one bottle I can't find time to tackle) and it's just a hassle. Until they are sold in a store near me I won't be
purchasing any more laundry detergent. I noticed that the pour is messy as well. I was a big fan on the concept now not so much.

I won't be using the detergent or laundry boosters. I use either liquid tide or gain. I have used the downy beads before, they smell good however i have seen residue on our clothes and had to rewash them.
Bonnie, the laundry boosters are the same ones u buy from the store. U add to the bottom of the tub first and then add the clothes.
Really, DRYER SHEETS . If I want the laundry to smell like mangoes I'll just spray it with the mango fragrance spray LOL. They don't even have this many scents for shampoo, and they still don't have women's deodorant or shaving cream or face wash!

Not sure why people think it’s strange for BBW to do laundry products. They did something similar in the 90s I think it was laundry soap?.. anyway I do want to try but each time they do a sale bopis isn’t available
I would like to try sundrenched linen!! That would be really good for laundry. I'm surprised it's a no for you but I also love the candle. I burn that one and laundry day while I'm cleaning. Also, lavender vanilla I'm going to try for my sheets if my husband let's me gets away with it. Lol. On some nights I spray my pillow with the Pillow and Body mist with the from there and he does NOT like it. I'll try it once but definitely not a repurchase with those prices.

At this price point it makes more sense to me to just get the fragrance booster if you use any mainstream unscented detergent. I guess if you used both then it would really be saturated with your scent.
I’m my area (Florida) there are a number of specialty body care, soap stores with multiple locations and online that are doing specialty laundry products: Naples Soap Company and Buff City Soap, so definitely seems to be a trend.

I have the detergent and the booster beads. They are more like a novelty item.Cute but not really sure if they’re functional. I need them on sale to buy though! Its a shame because they rolled them out in the app under the rewards program and they are not reward eligible.

I always use fragrance beads. I love the downy ones. The pink one with rose I cant thinking the name right off. That's my fav. Amber and rose or something like that. Gain is good too tho. You put them in the bottom of the washer before putting in your clothes. I use way too much 😅 But my clothes smell good 🤷♀️

Hey Bonnie. I have no interest in the laundry products. I prefer the body care, including more deodorant. I’d love for B&BW to release wax melts. I’m not into candles, but those are the next best thing. I’m more into wallflowers, but wax melts would be great. ☺️🩵🩵🩵
