i made the exact same thing but mine came out floppy and won't stand up straight ( it is not sturdy even though I tightened all the beads ) do you have any tips on how I can fix it?

Hi...even i tried making it. But how to keep it sturdy or stiff ? Mine in bending from the center
I had the same problem as well, but you can fix with putting the wire through the entire pearl layer after you finish threading them.
You can also fix it with using a bigger size of the fishing line.

Do you measure the rope or how are you sure what length will be enough??
I just measure from one arm to the other
