I just got a Delta Blues used. It’s older than dirt but it’s still working good and sounds amazing especially with my Gretsch 6120. I wouldn’t trade for this amp it has the tone I’ve been looking for.
Nice demonstration. I have a Peavey Delta Blues 115. It has a great sound to it. Adding the foot switchable reverb is a big plus. The new pilot light design is another nice addition to have.
I just got one of these. Never thought I’d own a Peavy. ( yeah I’m a snob) but it’s great. Looks great , sounds great. Fits right in with all my other amps. Say…. Is that The Neurotic Guitarist? Before he went kinda crazy?
Have to say, I like the classic 30 the best but both sound great! I have a 65' fender deluxe reverb RI now but if I were to buy another amp it would be the Peavey classic 30.
Delta Blues has the sound I've been looking for. The question is, how does it hold up on very low volume levels? I don't want to blast everyone out of my house.
+Čarpe Diëm I think they are great, I find Fenders you have to turn up to get to sound good. We have both of these amps and a speaker change for the C30 is in order the DB comes with a great speaker.
just tried out the Delta Blues today...awesome clean, reverb, more than when my older classic 30 was stock so it was pretty good...OD was totally thin and buzzy...now my old classic 30 is smooth as glass...so it must be the different tubes that I have in mine see my reverb upgrade video for more tube info..
I had a classic 30 and it tended to blow fuses which required you to pull out the chassis. I've had a 1990s Delta 115 for about a month and zero issues. It has all the tone of the Classic and more. I run it hot and lower the guitar's volume to sweeten it up.
I just got a Delta Blues 210 from a friend that has been gigging it for years with no issues! I’ve had it for about 3 month and changed the first preamp valve and nothing more. US made and only $300 used! They are sweet machines!

Super cool riff on the Delta blues
My favorite one is definitely the peavey!

Love my 30,it will do anything
Thanks for the comparison, I'm currently trying to decide between these two...I think I'm going for the Delta Blues...gotta love a 15" speaker.
Robert Ryder what did you get?
Nice sound delta blues

I like the tele
How quiet can you get with those in the dirt channel?

Loved my Peavey Classic 50 212, but my Vox AC30 totally had ultimate shine and sparkle above these! Still enjoy playing both loud and Live!
I have read that there are many issues with their valves temperature. Does someone know something?

what, isn't the classic 30s verb digital and the delta's spring?
WilliJrH no both spring reverbs
Does the Delta Blues have a standby switch as well?
johncartelli no they don't
They do now
What song was that at 4:10-4:23?
Late response but I was just going through and looking at these videos. That is actually an original that idea that I had just come up with.
How's the reverb?.??
it's not that bad although surely not as good as some of reverbs I've heard
Blake Wright I
Warm.
Made in the US? Blue Marvel? This is old!
