It’s hard to watch dogs get older. I have a yellow lab too, and she’s slowing down and needs help getting in the truck now. I’m sure putting this video together was probably a little difficult. Thanks for sharing Levi with us one more time
This, totally this. I'm just starting to see the signs with my doggo, and I'm already preparing myself. But I've always kept the outlook of that, all the years that my dog has been alive, she's had an amazing life and has been loved every single second of it. And at the end of the day, when it's time, I'll at least know that her entire life has been filled with happiness and love, and that she lived a good life... Still sucks that dogs live such short lives compared to humans.

I’d never heard of you before today, but my husband and dad were “at the homestead” and heard equipment running…they were told “some RUclips guy bought V Mountain…we even heard an explosion earlier” So here I am…checking out your content and wondering what you’re doing up there. My grandpa hunted this land his whole life and it’s likely (although I don’t know for sure) that someone in my family logged that property…maybe my dad. (?) That valley is magic…I think so anyway. Wishing you much happiness and success on your mountain top. Welcome to the middle of nowhere. ❤
Yup, Its a good location, and can be found. On Andrews Vids he is very careful to avoid some obvious landmarks, but they are there. Fortunately, Google Satellite uses Copernicus Sentinel from 2015 or 2019 so people are not gonna find it using that method...lol.
80 acres, 1 new access road, 7 machines, 2 trailers (one with slideouts), 3 20' containers and a beautiful view of pasture land replaced with trees... Fantastic Andrew. Congratulations on a great year!
It was nice seeing Levi again. He was a good dog and I know you miss him. Excellent video, well worth watching the progress on that property. Love the newer camper. Time to get some solar power!
Can we all agree we need more of this kind of stuff on RUclips? I saw the title and knew without a doubt he actually bought a mountain top. There is no mention of money in this whole 3 hour video no "flexing", no click bait, nothing of the sort. Just a humble man building his dream with honest hard work. Andrew is the type of person that needs to be front page, Andrew's and Diesel Creek's videos and work should be shown to inspire more people like they did for me.
Me: 2 hr movie, nah that's too long. Also me: 3 hrs of Andrew doing stuff, sign me up and I bet it will be awesome. The amount of time this video captures is amazing. Thank you for sharing sweet Levi with us once again.

AC - It seems to me that this is the culmination of all the prior years practicing on someone else's job sites to perfect your technique and just as you did the castle, you did it your way. You've learned what to do and not to do and applied them to YOUR dreamscape. You've acquired the tools thru work environment and can do pretty much anything you put your mind to. It's been a fun experience and an education, over these last 5 or 6 years watching your channel, seeing your videos from the comfort of my chair. I'll bet the 1.15M subs feel the same way. Good fortune on your continuing story.
@@AndrewCamaratahi Andrew, when you were driving up the mountain and had your arm out the window you were recording but was it a fancy drone following you or was it some kind of selfie pole. Try not to laugh, I don’t know that much about drones or GoPro stuff.
And here I was wondering what to do with the next 3:19:34 of my life. Andrew, for what it’s worth, no video you produce can ever be too long. Many thanks to you for the fabulous stories you tell, and the countless hours you spend producing them for us. I wish you strength and happiness!
I'm just adding what other people have said, It is very heart warming to see Levi and yes it is so unfortunate these wonderful animals don't have a longer life span
When pulling things like those containers, put hooks on the top of your dozer blade, when it gets stuck instead of backing up and going forward with it hooked to the blade you can move the blade up and down as you tram and it will come right along with no problems. Used this method in the coal mines for years in deep mud and water. Just a suggestion! Like your show!
Oh that's cool. I was thinking shipping container "sled" or something would be cool (at least fun to watch him make). But what you said makes total sense :)
@@troyhumphreys9952 I have used sleds like you are talking about, and depending on what you have on them they work really well. He could weld runners right to the bottom of the container but I think he would still need to hook to the blade and move it up and down as he trams. He could get a lot bigger Dozer and that negates the need for runners, sleds or being hooked to the blade, lol.
Camera work (drone while driving), editing, and the actual repairs ... always a top notch entertaining video. I can only imagine the total amount of change all of his work has brought to that mountain.
Incredible seeing it in the raw again and then knowing how much work it has taken so far just to get the basic access all sorted out. Looking forward to years more amazing episodes of Andrews mountain. Thank you for sharing.

I agree. Hard but great to see Levi for a bit. Cody sure mskes a great replacement but he is not the great Levi. Love all your vids. Been following for about 3 years. Keep it up Andrew. Always an adve ture with you.
What impresses me is this property's history dates back to colonial times. I would be curious to see the plat this land is listed on and see just how far this land goes back to and who might have owned it. Nice job, Andrew.
I'm only a few minutes in, but can see all of those stacked stone walls. That means there are cellar holes from the eighteenth century that would be great for metal detecting.
Thank you Andrew for this incredible content and sharing your journey with us. Your contribution to society through your viewers can not really be understated.
I've never seen a video thats 3 hours long ever rack up this many views that quickly! Shows just how much support Andrew has on his channel, love the video!
its nice to see from the beginning, when you first discovered this place with Levi, Sadie and Cody and then watching you transform it into a liveable place. great job! I am glad you put the various recordings togehter into one long coherent story. mammoth construction project and mammoth video compostion. great job! thanks for posting.
Great video. Watched it all. Had the same problem with my RV furnace until I learned a trick from an old RV technician. He said to light the gas stove and let a burner or two burn for a couple of moments to get the propane flowing through the lines, then light the furnace, turn off the stove and enjoy. Sometimes air gets in the propane line going to the furnace and keeps it from igniting (sort of like vapor lock), the gas stove trick has worked for me more than once. Also, something as simple as a spider web can mess up the igniter. Great to see the older videos of Levi. My favorite one was when he jumped off of the boat dock to get in your boat, missed, and came up under the dock and you jumped in to save him and pulled him out unscathed!
There were many amazing things in this video, but the one i keep thinking about is Cody's consistent and enthusiastic participation in every task. Like, during the seeding, he was teasing the four wheeler the ENTIRE time! Keeping pace with bulldozers on every trail. Hopping into the passenger seat of the side by side on every trip. Right on, Cody!
Re-watching this for the first time since you published it. Such a great look back to where you started with the mountain property. This video is one of your top 3 for sure in my opinion.
After 3 days of watching in between work and sleep, this was truly a work of art. Thank you for the time and effort you put in to satisfy your subscribers. Can’t wait to see what this property brings for you. Secretly hoping for a “laying gravel on the new driveway” video.

Andrew you sure hit an emotional connection with your viewers when you showed your dog loving you, being with you, watching you do what you do and now aging and losing some of his health. So many of us pet owners had to speak up and share our appreciation to you. Levi is a wonderful dog. We learned how to yell at him to stay out of the way when you were backing up and not looking. Both my dogs would appear at my computer room door when I yelled at Levi to watchout! They wanted to know who I was yelling at. I'll try to explain it to them. Phil
I really like your mountaintop! It was hard seeing Levi like that. It reminded me of my own dogs when they got old, but it helps to remember that he had one of the best lives a dog could have.
As a Brit I gotta say that was THE best 3 hours ive spent in a long time - watching a skilled young man living his dream. This is what life is all about. Hats off to your enterprising will to conquer all odds.
This is video is amazing. I binged the whole 3 hours in one sitting. Andrew reminds me of my dad, who had his own side hustle bush hogging and plowing gardens back in the day. I like how he shows the good along with the bad. I remember helping my dad fix whatever piece of equipment was broken. That view is AMAZING!! What an incredible spot. Nice work Andrew!!
Andrew's really become one of my favorite channels. The interview yesterday was really cool. Neat to learn some background, but I was so happy to hear him say he has no plans to change any bit of his filming/videos.
I'll tell you what, Andrew... you are the ONLY "RUclipsr" that I would not scoff at for putting out a 3 hour video, and the fact that I'm actually looking forward to sitting here and watching the entire thing truly says something about you, your character, and the content that you put out for us... And I know that I'm not alone on that sentiment.. You don't ask for likes or subscribers, you're one of the most honest and hard working person that I've come across. You tell it like it is and there's something honorable about that. Plus you have some amazing ideas that I really hope come to fruition one day. Anyway, I have been waiting for this video. I knew you obviously had new property, as you filmed a lot of videos that showed you and friends bringing all that stuff up to it. I figured that it was an ongoing video that you were still filming, so you can show everything from start to finish. However, I didn't realize it would go so far back that we'd get to see Levi again! That's pretty great and I truly hope that you found as much joy in seeing him as we did. 🙏
"I anticipate it's going to get messed up to some degree but lets see what happens." This is why Andrew is so damn popular he's not afraid to mess up stuff and fix it better.
Brilliant ,had to watch it again to remind me of where this adventure started and how far you’ve come a lot of hard work and water under the bridge, don’t know what’s intended for this property but glad spring has arrived so we can see more progress
I think everyone likes Andrew so much because he is so “what you see is what you get” he is so real nothing fake about him. I found his channel about 5 years ago looking for help fixing a chainsaw and been addicted ever since. Learned so much from him.
Amazingly done. Educational, interesting, mesmerizing. You have perfected the vocation of excavation and land clearing. Not to mention videotaping and publishing quality content. Your being exceptionally happy and deeply engaged in all your work really comes through. Well done!
I can honestly say seeing Levi struggle like he did you know broke my heart seeing that but I'm like him I'm an old man and I can't do what I used to do 10 years ago and watching you develop that property was absolutely amazing I wish you the absolute best future ahead of you because hard work does pay off and you're a living testament is that it does and your friends coming up to help you and that and been able to spend time with them that's just like having family and probably even better than family please keep making these long videos because they are truly truly enjoyable thank you
I had a smaller female lab like levi that I took with me everywhere when I poured concrete for a livin. She would ride in the truck and lay under the truck and watch us all day. She never once stepped in the wet concrete. I loved that dog so much and developed a cool relationship with her. Im sure its the same for you and Levi.Cody sure does have an interest in everything you do thats great hiw devoted he is.
I clicked on this video thinking it might be 20 minutes. A few minutes in I looked at the time and it's THREE HOURS AND TWENTY MINUTES! A. Camarata feature films are always epic. I'm going to really enjoy this one.
Andrew, I've been watching the channel for a long, long time and you still had me shaking my head and laughing with every video, especially this one. You have taught me that there really aren't many, if any, jobs or obstacles that can get in the way when you have the right tools, creativity and the mindset that it can be done and it will be done. Before you revealed the property I had a feeling you had some kind of big project on your hands and I was right, what an undertaking! I love it! Hope you and Cody are doing well, take care!
@2:30:04 Back in the 1930's, NYS bought up many failed farms in central Schoharie county. The CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) then planted red pine and spruce trees on the vacated farm land. Many others were left to grow wild. They are now managed forests for firewood and pulp wood for paper. I used to work with my cousin up there and you can still see the rock wall fences where the fields were cleared. It was the same there a hundred years ago with no trees. The joke is that the farmers failed because the only thing that grew were rocks.
before oil homes were heating using wood, and homes back them were anything but energy efficient. I am sure most of the trees were cut down for lumber or used for firewood.
Cheers Andrew!! The weather here in the UK has been ghastly for the past 4 to 5 days. I have just got my house toasty warm and dry again and I find a 3 hour movie from you - just perfect, you could not have timed it any better!!
So Andrew, is the road an easement or part of the 80 ( acres) ? You're obviously correct 80 acres is huge. I'm a retired farmer here in Arizona and our parcels of farmland are laid out in squares, rectangles and circles ( sprinkler irrigation). Is yours a square or ? We love your channel ! I appreciate the vid you uploaded about your family and growing up and entering the work force, then deciding after 8 years at the Post Office to leave the "job paradigm " and make a living from what you clearly love to do ! Not many people have your drive, enthusiasm, preserverance and talent to not only do what you do rather what you've already accomplished! Your life would make a fantastic book. You/Tube has probably helped to some small extent but your ambition and ideology is epic. Did I say how much we enjoy watching your videos? 😆 Wishing you all of the very best. Warmest Regards from a retired farmer out-standing in his field. Yes, that really is my last name too.
@@murrayspiffy2815 Yes please Andrew. That would be cool, but I think we would understand if you would prefer to avoid being stalked. With >1M subscribers there will probably be at least one Annie from the movie Misery - that was a very disturbing movie. You could put signs up on the access road warning that hunting is always in season on this property, and get one of those propane gas bird scarers to fire off randomly.
@@TrevorDennis100 Reading some of the stories people tell about "fans" coming to their house and or property leads me to suspect that he in no way, shape or form wants that information to be made public. He puts out some of the best content on the Web in my opinion.
When you hook up a new bottle of propane, it take awhile for the gas to get through the lines. It's best to light a burner on the stove until it burns for awhile then try the furnace and / or water heater. Otherwise the sensor will shut it back down. It tries multiple times until it finallly gets pure propane. Great video. I can't believe I saw all 3+ hours of it.
Exactly what I figured air in the line. But your comment is spot on, the solution is to purge the line with the stove. Same goes for the propane refrigerators. Gotta purge that line.
Not just when you hook up a new tank, but also any time a heater/appliance has sat months without use. I see it every fall with deer hunters who come up to camp only once a year or so. We usually get 5 or so HVAC service calls a year resulting from not using the appliance and wondering why it wont light.
@@superchuck3259 Yeah especially in the little heaters that get unhooked and put on a shelf 'til next year. And sometimes mud dobbers outside at the tank. But even a furnace in the house can get hornet nests in the fresh air intake, or mice in the blower wheel. And one time, even a mallard duck in a 3" pvc exhaust, made it to the blower and was stuck, so he suffocated.
Turn the CAT around, drive it backwards and chain the bottom of the container to the center top of the blade...avoids getting the container hung up on big rocks or having it cut into banks. The container's trailing edge will still stabilize it while its dragged and will also smooth out the dozer's track ditches, leaving a semi flat road behind it. OR buy a bigger dozer with a winch :>)
A dozer with a ripper could work for that too i think. Or a tractor / tracked vehicle with a three point hydraulic on the back. Oh, why do i just think that Andrew should try to get a DET-250? XD
Andrew, thank you for sharing your new property and the several projects you have you have been working on. It was good to see Levi again in your video. Over 3 hours took some time to view let alone to film then edit in addition to all your work on your projects. I want to acknowledge all the work you have put in filming and editing. This very enjoyable. I hope you many adventures there in the future.
The views are spectacular! Spread the 2 containers 16’ apart and frame up a roof between them with front and rear walls as dry storage for sleds & quads. Also a generator shed.
Congratulations on the getting the new property! You've got the proven skills to improve it and develop it. I hope you put it a large pond so you can claim waterfront property.
I had 57 acres with a mile long dirt road to access for years. A little snow would make a few spots impassable without a winch. But the worst was satellite internet which sucks. I moved 2 years ago to a house on 82 wooded acres in Berkeley springs WV. Black top road, to a blacktop driveway and hard wired TV and internet!! The best feeling is exploring your new property. I still have a few acres I haven’t laid eyes on yet. You property is beautiful!
My favorite thing to do is fine natural water springs. I like to follow the little streams to their source. It is amazing how many springs exist coming out of the rocks or sides of hills. Exploring is fun even when just hiking in a forest/park. See something new. I also enjoyed the videos! Looking forward to more adventures.
@@helium5912 Morgan county, there’s places near there where land is $1000/acre. Prolly a little more than that there but not much. Very hilly. Land of little value in many spots.
You will probably find few wildflowers if that was grazed by cows. It takes a very long time for the wildflowers to recover after grazing. You could hurry things along by getting a couple hundred pounds of mixed wildflower seed (selected for what is common locally) to scatter at strategically selected locations around the property. The varieties that will do well at a particular location will do well, and the rest will vanish. Put a bag on each ATV and when you stop for a rest or a view, throw out a few handsful. My dad had 180 acres (in Michigan), and one area had been isolated (for a wood yard) while the rest was grazed as a dairy farm until 75 years ago. The woodyard was full of wild flowers, while the grazed land had none, even with 75 years to recover. Look for a place that sells seeds for "native plants". BTW, you have really faithful followers. You have over 1/2 of your subscribers with views after only two days. Most YT creators get barely 1/10, even after several weeks. (And for a 3-1/2 hour video!)

@@K.J.Ray421 That and spider webs! They can clog up lots of things out in the open.
