Cyprus 2022 had the best instrumental sound for me and in the end i ranked Ela, ela 5th. Shame that vocals and stage presentation were bellow average and cause it to not qualify. This year is very pop friendly and sounds good. Very probable qualifier.
Personally, I'm so done with metal, rock, trash, fricks, and groups this freaking strange euroyear. Sometimes we just need have some "boring" pop songs and ballads maybe. Just for listen in headphones)
On a year like this one where alot of countries fled to a more up-tempo route, I think songs like this are really really appreciated. Now I know not all agree but I think calling this "boring" is like calling Duncan's song in 2019 boring

Andrew Lambrou also competed for Australia Decides last year like Voyager lol. He can sing but what I didn't like with his performance last year was he was so reliant with the back vocals and the staging was a bit empty at some point. This is a more ballad-ish song so it won't require him to move a lot so I hope his voice will shine more than the backing vocals this time.

Maybe he can even qualify, if he doesn't hit every high not and doesn't sound exactly like on the record, as long as it sounds good, even though a note is a key deeper, there's no juries in the semis and parts of the audience, who've never heard the record probably won't even notice. Unless, he's missing every key and sounds shrill and very out of tune, just like Andromache last year, then we've got a problem.
