My compliments, Scott, for handling this LHD * artic absolutely without problems, in the UK. You would fit right in with my drivers in Canada/USA, because we deliver many self-propelled RHD vocational rigids from manufacturers to dealers; from dealers to end-users and/or between two entities. (* LHD = Left Hand Drive / RHD = Right Hand Drive)...the Volvo Refuse truck you were talking about at the very end of the video, is a similar type that we deliver frequently in North America, but built on Mack chassis (technically also a Volvo, since Mack is owner by the VolvoGroup). Curb-side pickup refuse trucks, are now practically always manufactured with just one steering position "on the wrong side", to allow drivers easier maneuverability while manually picking-up the refuse (known as "garbage" in Canada/USA).
Have actually driven on Route 66, albeit it was less than two miles. We were based in Phoenix, Az, and we headed north to visit the Grand Canyon, and crossed R66 at Flagstaff. Enjoyed your video Scott😂
Great video Scott, remember once before when running to Belgium after a full day's driving got to the factory hoping to drop the tank for the site workers to offload, " drive you have to unload and we need it now" got on the bay tried to sleep but impossible with the noise from the factory started too see loads of rabbits running around this grass area wasn't sure if I was seeing things, when I pulled outside the factory it was pitch black and I went to do a spinny on what I thought was waste ground and nearly drove into a canal
@@ScottAndrews ...beg to differ, since driving a LHD in Europe is no different than driving a RHD in the UK....so your European stint didn't really help you for this filmed UK run in the Route-66 Scania 😉
Wow! wasn't expecting Clydach to make an appearance in the video! Plus Download dog would be none too impressed with you talking about visiting different festivals......!!😂👍🏴
Hi Scott, finally caught up with your videos. I've been in a Volvo and they are very comfy, I will be in a Volvo later this month doing my class 1 training with Taunton training centre, most of the driving is done in and around Bridgwater, worst roundabout is at the end of St. John's Road going into Westonzoyland Road 😮 tight is an understatement 😂. I think I have already said that I am in a tipper now, 5 months now and loving it, I know you weren't keen on the bags with Greene's but I think I could enjoy that as it would be day work and since I have two kids under 16 I can't go tramping yet. Good practice with swapping trailers and reversing too, with a trailer I can see over better than full curtain sider 😊 have a good week
Love the video Scott. That DAF c challenging, came in well, when you did the reverse. I wounded as the lorry was left hand drive have they unstructured her as she sneed to have more power than the one you drove at greens.
Hi Scott, did you say you were in Luxembourg? I live there, where have you been that you had to challenge in reversing? Hope it wasn't to bad coming here... Keep it rolling, Mate - Cheers
Loved the different perspective of what it's like driving a LHD here. Appreciate the title was to attract viewers but it gave away your little comedy at the beginning too much 😋

scary when you consider the rules over driver hours and the tacho given how easy it is to "rest" without resting.
Great video scott, you are definitely 1st class at what you do, keep the vids coming mate, all the very best.
Cheers Paul
Food Festival,Who were the main Act there? The Food Fighters

I love the cotswolds apart from the time my van broke down 😢
Love the video Scott. That DAF c challenging, came in well, when you did the reverse. I wounded as the lorry was left hand drive have they unstructured her as she sneed to have more power than the one you drove at greens.
Not as much power as the S650 I had. It was slowing down a bit on the hills with weight on but she did well
Great video, love that V8 audio, as always nailed the reverse, awesome high beams

Attracting viewers doesn't seem to be doing so well atm haha
Very nice looking Truck
It sure is!
As I suspected when I saw your FB Post.. you were picking up and dropping off at my mates company!
Liked the Video Scott. Was it your old mate? Good job on the left hook. The Scania had some poke for Birdlip.
Yeah it was. Nice to see him
Just wondering was it your old school mate at the delivery, nice vlog Scot.
Yeah It was. Was good to see him
Put a huge dummy doll in the passenger seat. At least someone would get a surprise.
Was it your mate from school? At the drop off
There’s no laws there on how long you can drive or be up there
Its it from Germany?
Not sure, I'll check if I ever get it again.
It's noisy
Oww V8
Funny enough I drive through Buford on those roads to get to Clarksons farm on Saturday
