I'm not an ARMY but Jimin is growing in me. I've been seeing comments say he's stealing spotlight from the other members. I don't understand why his fandom underrates him tbh. I won't mind if people have different opinions on BTS rank in dancing. I just hope people won't mock those who say Jimin is the best or is at Hobi's level. Some of us--like myself--do know what we're talking about. As a jazz, ballet and street dancer myself, I can confidently say that he is definitely BTS' best and most versatile dancer. I think it's both because of the breadth and depth of his expression and presence, and his technique--the third, the main reason I'm pressed why people think he's inferior cause he's not. Dance is a mode of expression and Jimin mastered this art; it's not his sexiness, charisma or aura--as much as those take him to another level. Where, when and how you look/gaze is a skill; clarity of body line (shape) is a skill; facial expressions, choosing when, where and how to relax, release, tense, soften, accentuate is a skill. Balancing fluidity, sharpness and strength to communicate the right musical narrative (unless music is abstract) are both talents and skills Jimin excels in. Mastering these for different genres is extremely difficult but he's able to excel in it--giving him versatility. Jimin is great in contemporary but he's equally great in hiphop; in fact, he trained in hiphop way longer than contemporary. He makes small and large movements count--this is one of the reasons why he's able to stand out in both simple and complicated choreographies. Jimin's musicality (rubato, staccato) are topnotch. I totally understand why the Pin Up composer wants him to cover another of his composition. He's that member you can actually put side by side with the other top 5 K-pop dancers. I hope ARMY's appreciate him more. J-hope is also really great; I think his training in underground hiphop developed his style on and into certain sub-genres of hiphop like the more novel boogaloo (he aces that). His timing, consistency and explosiveness are on point. Jimin's and J-hope's Ievel of skill can only be achieved with repetition--hardwork, hardwork, hardwork. Now, I don't know how these two were when they started in BTS and that may be a reason why many ARMY's have strong biases on who the best dancer is. But we have to be fair and evaluate the present and actually look at the routines. Lastly, people who fought with me using positions as argument. I DID CHECK. Jimin is a main dancer. Watch AHL ep 3 where the members said it. Someone also said the dance line had a debut special stage in a show where Jimin was introduced as the main dancer. I'm not saying J-hope isn't cause I don't know. But, yes, Jimin is---so let's not use their positions to claim one is better.

This is the side of jimin that I really appreciate and thank because it's this that caused me to fall in love with him and be bias. He really truly is an amazing dancer and those spins prove that, the way he spots perfectly so that he doesn't send himself in a dizzying tornado is so beautiful but also the fact that he looks so graceful when he spins and tbh when he dances just never ceases to amaze me. I don't watch K-pop much (I've only watched K-pop global hits). I don't know how I got to BTS' Blood, Sweat & Tears video. Since then, I've been checking out all their music videos, live performances, vlogs and shows from the past. This group got the talent and appeal to make them globally marketable. They have both the individual and group artistry that make them appealing even to Westerners (I find some K-pop groups, too "groupie"). I just like how they're able to blend many music influences and make songs their own. You just know it's BTS and upon seeing their old MVS; they seem to improve with every album release. Vocals, rapping, dancing, visuals, star factor (just stand out) are top-notch. Each member has his own role and charm. - Jimin, my bias (yes, he's levelling with Taeyeon in my bias list), for me has the second best vocals next to V (along with Kookie; really smooth even in extremely high pitch and can be sexy and breathy) and dances most precisely (can be fluid or snap poppy) and with emotion. He also seems to be the glue. The members say he's the kindest and most caring member. Seemingly outgoing and always reaching out and considerate, Jimin is what every group or clique needs. - V is crazy fun! He was too feminine for my taste at first (like Jin) but upon seeing their social media videos, he grew on me. He seems like the party animal that's also genuine, eccentric and kind. I always like unique, genuine people (like Taeyeon and GD). I also found in the other MVs he got a soulful, deep voice. I hope to hear it more as it seems underutilized. He's my second bias in BTS. - Kookie is the all-around talent with immense stage presence. I liked him first cause he just stands out to you first with his boyish charisma. He seems to fit any genre and is meant for the stage. No wonder he has the most fans (according to sites I Googled). Personally, I find his mischief (his way of expressing warmth to hyungs) and shyness somewhat cute. - Suga caught my attention after Kookie cause of his swag. He just seems so natural and effortless in his rap. Rapping is his zone. I heard he's also a composer and producer..wow. A tremendous asset. Like V, Suga is What You See is What You Get it seems..there's a charm in his bluntness. - J-hope is energy. You can feel it in his dance and singing. He's always giving 100% it seems. I learned he's also the most cheerful and positive (suits his name) and among the kindest in the group. He's probably one of the most loved by the members. - Rapmon seems really smart. Not just book smart but in music, in life according to the members. BTS is lucky to have him as their leader. He's got the IQ and EQ to lead his peers to stardom. It always helps to have someone you look up to in a team. His rapping is flawless. Like Suga, I heard he also composes and produces music. More great music to come! - Jin is beautiful. I'm not really a fan of "pretty boys" marketed as the girls in their boy groups but somehow Jin is able to not make it look too awkwardly gay (just teasing). He seems to be among the nicest guys (along with Jimin). He adds to this group's unique charm. They're just so diverse. I hope to hear him sing more. He has beautiful vocals that can go toe to toe with the best BTS vocalists. I don't know why I'm writing this long comment. BTS captivated me with one video. Now, I'm stanning them so hard. (And I'm not really easy to please. The only other people I stan are Steph Curry, Kobe Bryant, Taeyeon and GD.) Looking forward to more great music from BTS! More power!

jimin's high note. definitely. he has a really ballet like dancing style in general. but his dancing has more elements of modern and lyrical ballet than classical. his dance for Lie is the perfect example for a lyrical ballet dance. so in conclusion: jimin would be a damn good modern ballet dancer.
i love watching him dance because you can really see his proper technique and talent. You can clearly see his dancing stands out from the others because of how elegant graceful and technically sound it is, from someone who comes from a long background of ballet and contemporary dance, (much like jimin) i feel grateful because i can appreciate his dancing that much more :) i think it goes underatted on how hard is for him to dance hip hop and boy band style when he is used tooo and excels in lyrical dancing. i absolutly love watching these compilations so i can better appreciate his talent, thank you very much

He makes it all look so easy to do. He does it so casually too. Almost everything of him reminds me of GD. Even the spins and the shout outs at concerts. Army Shawol Inspirit Fight Me same! He reminded me so much of GD especially when he performed Tony Montana with Agust D. The way he carried himself on stage even though he's not a rapper, even his adlibs during concerts remind me of GD. But it's crazy how I still see a bit of Taeyang. Like his stage presence reminds me of GD, but most of his gestures on stage reminds me of Taeyang.

i love watching him dance because you can really see his proper technique and talent. You can clearly see his dancing stands out from the others because of how elegant graceful and technically sound it is, from someone who comes from a long background of ballet and contemporary dance, (much like jimin) i feel grateful because i can appreciate his dancing that much more :) i think it goes underatted on how hard is for him to dance hip hop and boy band style when he is used tooo and excels in lyrical dancing. i absolutly love watching these compilations so i can better appreciate his talent, thank you very much

bts trash right??!? Like you can clearly see how he spins so perfectly. The angle of his body, arms, legs, down to his fingertips were all perfect. Like you just know he was trained in ballet/modern dance 😭 I really enjoy watching his spins in slow motion.
He makes it all look so easy to do. He does it so casually too. Almost everything of him reminds me of GD. Even the spins and the shout outs at concerts. It's weird cause his idol is Taeyang, but this guy clearly reminds me of GD. And GD is Jungkook's idol. I think I'll stop here. It's getting scary.

The way he carried himself on stage even though he's not a rapper, even his adlibs during concerts remind me of GD. But it's crazy how I still see a bit of Taeyang. Like his stage presence reminds me of GD, but most of his gestures on stage reminds me of Taeyang.
