That part was such a creepy thing to say. I’ve worked with kids for over a decade. You don’t ask kids to keep secrets, like wtf?!? I could never fathom doing such a thing. If you really need to pull something off (especially when it’s a gift or something for the kid’s grown up) it’s a good opportunity to teach the difference between a secret and a surprise. I play “sneaky secret or sweet surprise” -a made up but simple game whereby the students have to identify the nefarious action. I just introduced it to kindergarteners; most are able to grasp the concept after a few rounds of the game.
This lady is disgusting. I’ve also never used a student bathroom…that’s honestly so strange. Our bathrooms are clearly marked as for adults or children but even if they weren’t, it’s obvious if you take three seconds to look around.

Yeah, and if she didn't sign in I don't think she would have broken any laws. She can't be in trouble for trespassing. Not only is it a Public school, but she was never told not to enter the property and being there was no crime. I think only the documents she signed were the "laws" she broke, but I think that even a crappy lawyer could have easily had those charges thrown out. I think a whole day though does prove her point a hell of a lot more than just a short time. Not all people who illegally enter schools are shooters who will walk in with a gun in the open and start shooting. There are people that could/would walk in with a bomb and plant it over a period of time... and then maybe even leave and come back with a 2nd or third, either that day or another day... and a device like that can not only be extremely destructive, but they can also be controlled from a distance and made to be used at any day or time without the assailant being present or there being any immediate risk to himself. It shows how at risk the school could be. (Although I think people today are cowards and want to turn our schools into prisons just to satisfy their delusions and their phobias, raising children to grow up in a prison society never knowing what it means to be Free).

@@peztopher7297 "not allowed" and illegal are two different things. I think it's both sides of the coin. They're "overly safe" in the fact that they're turning our schools into prisons, making our children grow up not knowing what it even means to be Free... but in reality, all their BS does Nothing to actually protect the children in the school from an actual attacker.
Our schools used to be safe when teachers had their RIGHT to bear arms an could/would defend the students if an armed assailant ever showed up... but cowards passed "laws" to end that, turned our schools into "gun free zones" (targets) and then told it was to "protect the children" as they bring in a new era of unprotected schools and school shootings with record amounts of victims/casualties.
(Some schools do have actual locked doors that an armed assailant could not just shoot through and enter... and I'm not against that in the slightest... but for the most part, they literally lock the children in rooms in a "lock down" and leave them to be defenseless, sitting targets if an armed assailant ever entered their school with a gun and chose their classroom where they were "locked down". Can't even recall how many times I've listened to stories of children being mowed down by a madman while they were locked in their classroom like fish in a barrel, and the teacher and children were left all completely defenseless with absolutely no chance to defend themselves.
Hope you forgive the rant, but it just sickens me. This entire situation was CREATED by people who passed "laws" to "protect the children". Disgusting cowards that are responsible for each and every single child's death that died at the hands of a gunman, completely undefended and MADE into a target by a "gun free zone" law (and the cowards that obey them).
"Good intentions will always be pleaded for every assumption of authority. It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters."-Daniel Webster

    - Now her child is going to be bullied and remembered for this ridiculous incident for the rest of her life
    - Not super important but why is her last name the same as the school's name?
    - Does she not realize 30 year old men will have zero chance of infiltrating like she did? She even acknowledges that most shooters are male so why exactly is she trying to prove a security point as a short woman using loads of makeup?
    - It is entirely for attention and TikTok, but she is probably so deluded that she actually believes it's for the greater good.
    - Probably the weirdest part is that she most likely received a self confidence boost by being able to "pass" as a 13 year old while being 30, as if that's a normal or healthy thing to want.

@@clintonleonard5187 I think she tried to sell it but nobody's buying lol. I think her motivation was social media attention and she probably thought (magical thinking) parents would see her as brave or relatable but mostly people seem to think it's just weird. I'll bet in 10 years we hear her name pop up again after some such shenanigans she may pull lol

She has a point. If the staff had been paying attention they would have seen an old lady trying to validate her delusions way sooner.

Looks like her daughter will get a chance at a new school soon! There’s no way she could keep going to this school. I’d be so mortified.

They were commenting on the fact that the word “trauma” is vastly overused in modern US society.
Seriously, how would Gen Z ever be able to handle the level of sacrifice endured by our forefathers who fought in World War II were to get repeated all again?

This is crazy. Imagine if a 30 year old man did this. She claims she did it for safety yet her actions are literally promoting unsafe behavior. Is she crazy?!

She's full of it, "did it because of safety", sneaking into a Middle School, having STUDENTS keep secrets from the adults that ARE there to protect because she's worried about her children that will be in preschool/grade school... how do those two things correlate? She did this to go viral and is now clutching pearls. Pathetic
Edit: I will add, it IS jarring that not one of the teachers till the very end noticed? My son is an 8th grader, his teachers are amazing, they know the students through and through, no way someone could pull this at his school. We also have smaller classes, that coud help, but all day and not one adult noticed?

Oh, no. She said it was a social experiment after she understood it wasn’t going down as she had hoped. However, if she had done it to test whether or not her daughter would be safe during an attack, how did she accomplish that? What did she learn that she could share with her daughter that would save her if attacked. As a teacher, we have reasons for locking our doors and having parents and visitors check in … HER! She is the perfect example of why we are so cautious. What she proved is that now we don’t have to just worry about assaults from outsiders, but what a grown men who can pass as students and those grown men are are perverts who could rape our students or even have intentions of shooting up our schools? What an idiot.

Yeah, I'm sure a woman in her 30s wanting to prove she could pose as a teenager had nothing to do with her ego at all. I'm not saying that was the primary motivation, but I'd bet money it was why she got so excited about it. Odds are good she's one of those people who humble-brags about being carded at the liquor store or being mistaken for her daughter's sister/friend instead of her mother. "Oh my god, it's so embarrassing! I look like a child!"

Her poor effing kids. This woman is disgusting. Also, most of the shootings are by people that are allowed to be there; the students.
