The video ended and I just sat here with a stupid looking grin on my face.
XD
This needs two kittens I guess
Ludwig Van Beethoven Yeah... i miss pianoreader
Mindestens :D
This piece is not only old, but beautiful + good playing.
When I pause the video it appears as if the notes are moving back up the piano!! Nice optical illusion! (And song of course) :)
Katie Ross same
It's sort of like the trick where you stand in a door frame and press your hands outward. When you get out of the frame and relax your hands then you can't keep them down xD
Also I want someone to mix this song with Living In The Sunlight
+Son_of_Ender25 WHY DONT YOU HAVE ANY LIKES FOR THIS COMMENT!?!?!?........(like)
Another big brilliant among Zez Confrey´s comjpositions
FAKE!! I released a kitten on my piano, sounded nothing like this.
I'm glad that you didn't release a kitten on your piano
well.....
the funniest thing happened
It sounds like one because they are clumsy and it's an actual song someone made! Not a kitten running around on it!!!
Laurel Rogers Bro he was just joking....
:P
Nice quality! Too many recordings of this one with overzealous players speeding through it. The hand dynamics come across well, here.
damn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its in a march/rag form with the trio at the end.
pianoREADER u are really like a musican !
pham thachbaoson Yes, he or she is
He didn't play this himself, I don't think he made any of the midi files he uses.
Can you pleeeeease do a tutorial for “Maybe” by the Ink Spots?
I look at this and was like “SHIIIIIIIEEEEEETTTT!!!! my hands too tiny...”
Roll the tenths, you'll get it just fine if you can reach an octave
There are a few more Notes in this arrangement then in the original Sheet Music.
It's improvised a bit. John Roache (the guy who sequenced the midi file) said that's what he did in the readme file.
Reminds me of Erwin Schulhoff and his études.
Schulhoff wrote an Etude over "Kitten on the Keys" but it is much more difficult as the Original.
How do you get realistic piano sounds like that on synthesia?
StarShr3k64 They use a midi device to actually play it while the key strokes are recorded
Mitchell Karan How do you do that?
StarShr3k64 they would play the song themselves through a program like Sibelius, then convert it to midi and play it through Synthesia. They would then use the sound file from the analog recording and the visuals from Synthesia
The midi file was recorded in the video then the guy used PianoTeq to make the audio. He then stitched the audio to the video. Viola! A good audio synthesia video.
Very nice and smooth, Is this you performing?
Nope, this was sequenced by the late John Roache. You can look up his midi archive.
I like stumbling. Zez confrey.
Ooooo, that's a good one!
My aunt Violet use to play this on my grandmother’s piano. She’d sit down and pull up address so she could get to those pedles. She had those short nylons that came up midcalf and she would just bang the tune out of that piano.

WGN Morning News, Larry's World.
A white fluffy kitten with blue eyes.. ;-;
funny I like this song. Is this call Jazz ? I don't really know.
Ragtime.
Rikka Takanashi It's a popular Novelty piano piece, which is a later successor of Ragtime, with obvious influences of Jazz.
Rikka Takanashi ragtime
@@tirednwired Novelty
@@kingpliar5537 NOVELTY
The only thing that makes it harder to play is the jazz beat.... Jazz beat is pretty unexpecting
music and key presses are tiny bit out of sync
I like the swing in my opinion.
Vsevolod Zozin It's called syncopation
Understandable. The audio was made separately from the video.
Absolutly unwhistleable 😅
PS : i m french and i don t even know if this word does exist 😂, if he doesn t, it s "insifflable" in french
Elliac theres a WORD for “not whistleable”?!
@@jkrai9684 yes there is 😂
You’re French hmmm.... can you confirm that merde is indeed shit in French?
