so everyone is casually not talking about the literal perfection Jin is, and Jin in this performance, the purple hair omfg. The 5th muster literally killed me and brought me back to life. Dimple and Pied Piper are some of my all time favorite bts songs. Dimple gave me confidence because I always say that my only physical quality are my huge ass dimples and also people in general mostly only compliment me about my smile and seeing them sing a song about FCKING DIMPLES and especially Jin singing a song about dimples, i lost my shit when I first heard it. And lets not even start with Ddaeng. The vocal line performing ddaeng is basically a sign that i can die in peace now. I am going to purchase the 5th muster even if my broke ass cannot afford it just because of how fcking good this concert was and HOW FINE THEY ALL LOOK. AHHHHHHHHHH OH AND PLEASE START TALKING ABOUT JIN I BEG YOU. I am so tired of people not mentioning him or giving him the credit he deserves. LIke that man is flawless in every way possible and he is also the love of my life. I gave up on ever getting married because I will never be able to love a man as much as I love Kim Seokjin

Ddaeng (the last song) is originally sang by the rapline only, but in that performance the vocal line joined them that's why it looks cute especially jin & jimin when rapping 😂

Just to clarify, Dimple is a vocal line song, only JK, Jimin, V and Jin sing it; and Ddaeng is a rap line song, only RM, SUGA and JHope sing it. In this performance the vocal line sang Ddaeng with the rap line as a cute and funny moment for the fans.

They have songs that are only the vocal line and some that are only the rap line. Ddaeng is originally a rap line song but they all did it for this special.
BTS has several songs where only sing the vocal line and others where only rap the rap line.
The last song is from the rap line, but they said the vocal line did it for fun.
As you may have already noticed, Jungkook knows how to rap too.
V also has a solo which might just murder you, especially live. It's called singularity. But anyways your editing is so funny, I'm dying over here😂
And YES, the vocal line rapping Ddaeng just gets me every time. This live performance of Pied Piper was the first time JK and V became my bias wreckers. RM and Jin are my biases (don’t ask me to choose btw them - you can’t make me!!), with Suga being the bias wrecker most of the time. But JK...and then V looking at Jin intensely as they sang to each other... nope. You’re speaking to my ghost. I am no longer part of the living.

the song can be connected to a German legend of the titular Pied Piper who led the children of Hamelin away from their parents forever as BTS poise themselves as an alluring danger that is “taking over you.”

On a lot of their albums they have a song with just the rap line, one with just the vocal line, and on 3 of their full albums they have solo songs for every member. No one ever gets left out. Also, on their Map of the Soul album series, as well as for BE, they've been trying out subunit songs, meaning songs with only a few members (on MOTS series the subunits were Jin, JK and J-Hope on the song "Jamais Vu", V and Jimin on "Friends", RM and Suga on "Respect". On BE, Jimin V Suga and J-Hope were on "Fly to my Room", JK Jin and RM did "Stay").
As for ddaeng, that is a rap line song released on soundcloud, but the singers were doing the verses to make the performance fun. Jimin and Jin split J-Hope's verse, V did Suga's and JK did RM's. Btw, JK used to rap a lot on their earlier songs, when they were more hip hop oriented, so it was fun to see him do it again for this.

Dimple is vocal line's song and Ddaeng is rapline's song. 1st verse by Jhope, 2nd by Suga and 3rd by RM. This is the only version when the vocal line tried rapping it. This whole performance (dimple + pied piper + ddaeng) is extremely vocal line focus and I love it. I missed seeing the rappers tho :(

Hi from London! Pied Piper comes the cautionary tale "The Pied Piper of Hamelin" which was about a man who was hired by a village to lure rats out by playing a tune on a pipe/flute. When the mayor refused to pay him, the piper used his magic piping tune to lure the children. They were so entranced by the music they followed him blindly until he led them to their eventual death in a cave. BTS are using this as a metaphor to encourage their fans to not blindly follow them and become entranced to the detriment of other things in life.

Oh, and DDAENG is a rapline song. the vocal line version is VERY fun, but if you have the time you gotta watch rapline only live performance, behind the stage, and ddaeng meaning&explanation by DKDKTV bc the korean wordplay in this song alone is astonishing. I read it somewhere, but basically the people that think they were being dissed by BTS needed to look up dictionary and search the meaning behind their lyrics to know what they were being dissed about.

Anyway, definitely try to watch the Prom Party 2018 performance of ‘Ddaeng’ where the actual rap-line do the song. I loved the vocal-line in this Muster version, but I thought the rap-line absolutely killed it when they performed the song originally.

You have to watch that ! Each member have his solo, you can watch the rap line (OUtro Tear is just incredible ! ) and the vocal line (the truth untold... I always cry ) , and of course a lot of their song together. They put so mutch energy, passion and love when they are on the stage !
