I only want one thing the day that I die and this is to meet again my beloved mother Isabel, also my father Domingo but above all, it is my thought of reunite with her that makes me have no fear to leave. These experiences are 1000% real. I should know as I've had 2 OBEs and once upon a time I thought such things like OBEs and NDEs were merely tricks of the mind or people telling made-up stories. Now I realise how important it is to keep an open mind.
After 2 NDEs, I had a spontaneous OBE that was longer and more amazing than when I nearly died. On the other hand, I also believe that my NDEs made such an OBE possible. It seemed to last for hours but in reality only lasted about 2 minutes. What I saw when away from my body seemed to be the expanse of the cosmos itself although I realize that to be an impossibility. @@theresebrandser In my own NDEs - at 4 and 19 - I was aware that the brightest light would only get closer if I actually crossed all the way over - if I died. In both circumstances, the decision was not mine to make. And although 19 is quite young, what I experienced there was so beautiful that I wanted to stay. I believe the presence of my great grandfather prevented my death; I was aware that he was telling me it was not my time and then I was whooshed back into my pain wracked body. Of course I'm glad now because that was decades ago and I've had many wonderful lessons in this life. However, I'll be so happy when it's time. I hope I've answered your question. Our real nature is consciousness. Have you ever checked these two books -- I Am That of Nisargadatta Maharaj and A Cource in Miracles? These two teachings are closest to reality I would say, or at least give you an intellectual understanding and knowledge of what's going on. The NDEs are only a part of the picture. What is real lies beyond.

A few years back, I was lying in bed with my eyes closed when I had this vision of death as falling into and becoming one with a river of light. I understand, the wedding garment OR garments are acts of unselfishness - charity, kindness, empathy, love, understanding, righteousness etc etc. towards our fellow men during the course of our allocated period on this Earth in a physical existence. Every second on this earth is recorded by the "Powers that be" - on everyone one of us. That's why the Jews & Muslims try to rack up as many good deeds as possible during their lifetime, so they are fully clothed - so to speak - and not naked with an empty bag when they die. NDEs are not always the same. Some have very real unpleasant & frightening experiences and seemingly, these experiences are dependent on one's earthly activities - good or bad.

On the contrary. A LOT happened in her NDE. Watch again. 2:21 to 3:35 is an exquisite description of Nirvana - total oneness with the light. This is as profound as it gets for human beings. Watch again and really listen.
