    Liked this video right at 2:59 minutes, where you mentioned the RPM in 6th gear at 100 KMPH cruising speed!!! None or very few reviewers talks about this!!! Thanks!!! This is what really matters, a relaxed engine at speeds of 80-100 on Indian highways!! No reviews are worth watching or reading if the cruising RPM-Speeds at 100 aren't mentioned!!! Who are we racing with these street bikes to talk about 0-60, Valentino Rossi??!! Harley has a winner here!!! Didn't like the CB350 because of its taller 5 ratios which makes it downshift often and the RE's never impressed me!!! This should be the one for me!!! The RPM of 4000 at 100 is on par with that of RE650 twins!!! Worth the buy!!! Hope the service department doesn't let us down!!!

    Cursorily looking, the Triumph 400 Twins look very well designed; they carry the Triumph essence in them. This Harley doesn't carry that brand's design language. When compared to the front half, the oddly designed rectangular rear section and the "Splendor" like exhaust look out of place on this. Providing USD shocks at this price point is really great move by Hero and Harley but they don't look as meaty when compared to the other bikes, they sort of blend in, even, the fuel tank cover with the exposed neck takes away its appeal, Bigger looking fuel tanks are what we come to expect from a Harley. So far, the pricing is the biggest USP for this one. If Triumph prices its bikes competitively, Harley will face a tough time breaking ground in the market.

    • @chnacr2
      @chnacr2 Год назад +1

      The exhaust looks like they had completely forgotten about it throughout the design and development process, and then 30 seconds before the first photoshoot they found some random spare of a random Hero bike and stuck it there

    Very much satisfied with review but i can understand your thoughts on negative aspects are projected very lightly as viewers are not much impacted from it. Appreciated.
    I am thinking to book this little beast but Those spender silencer which looks like factory chimney, those dekstop cables hanging around handle looks ugly and also narrow splender seats, 170 mm ground clearance and not so soft suspension on Indian roads are making me to wait.

  • @deepakdongre7712
    @deepakdongre7712 Год назад +6

    Woah- wasn't expecting such an in-depth video so soon. The bike definitely looks good- at least the front half that reeks of Sportster vibes. Unfortunately the rear half seems to be designed by a different (and demotivated) team- the rear fender overhang has Made in China written all over. But looks to be a well finished motorcycle and the price is the icing.

    Its Great effort by Hero who brought HD to us at affordable price even before we criticise lets Congratulate! HERO MC 👏🏻
    Now as a typical Motorcycle enthusiast I am little disappointed with the 2 valves, 9.5:1 gear ratio & Max torque 4000 RPM
    4 valves, 10.5:1 or 11.0:1 and Max torque 5000 RPM would have been better
    But lets hope for best, this is just the beginning and it gets better and better

    • @rayparthapratim
      @rayparthapratim Год назад

      11.0:1 compression ratio is never possible with this kind of an engine. It's a long stroke engine which is made for low end torque. Harley's have always used long stroke V-Twins in the past. REs are long stroke. You're talking KTM compression which are short stroke engines usually high revving and power higher up the rev range.
      2 valves are enough for this kind of an engine. Also 2 valves will give better torque down low which is the intent of this motorcycle. This produces better numbers than the infamous classic 500 yet being lesser displacement. It's a good motor. Now only time will speak for reliability.

  • @aryadebmondal
    @aryadebmondal Год назад +1

    Everyone who is interested in X440 should atleast see it once in the showroom. The videos don't do justice to this bike.. like for example the gap disappears when you sit on the bike, the exhaust note is nice and thumpy, The bike feels substantial it-feels like a big bike, yes the fit and finish is not at par with Triumph but it's not the worst either, and last but not the least the exhaust looks odd in real life too but if you are willing to spend some extra money later you can buy aftermarket exhausts.
    People who are confused between the speed 400 and x440 should go to the respective showrooms, don't blindly believe in any RUclips review, experience the bikes for yourselves and then make a decision. Don't let your hard earned money go to waste.

    Wow my dream to ride wide and raised handlebar on a cruising motorbike Harley would come true now. Less tech is best for a tensionfree minimalistic design classic cruiser.Yes Harley has given a fuel indicator which was missing in most of its line. So over all Harley has improved a lot. And this product is beautiful. In deep love with the design. I will put a wide raised handle bar and a full size mudguard at rear. that's it . Yes a wind shield if you like. And it's done. Relaxed posture is what I love and one more bike in its category is royal Enfield meteor 350.❤ But yes only budget will make people choose between the 2.

    Thanks for the video. It's interesting to see what the MoCo is doing with its partner. At the end, you said its a value for what you get. You also had a gripe of it not having much in the way of rider aids lule traction control or ride by wire. Harley Davidson has a hard time making bikes normal folks can afford, at least in America. Due to the fact the 440 doesn't have a suite of electronics that's how it can be a bargain.
