- Here is the 8th installment of season 2 of my “History Of” series
In this video I go over the history of the Chuck E. Cheese’s location in Paducah Kentucky. Which is also the first and most well known former Kentucky Showbiz Pizza location!
This video idea goes back to mid 2021 when I was trying to figure out what Chuck E. Cheese location to do next after Florence. I then decided to continue covering the Kentucky locations and chose Paducah since it was the most requested ky location by fans.
I just want to thank all the websites and people who helped me complete this movie!

My cousin and I had our birthday party here when were both 5 and 6. He convinced me to crawl under the tables and behind the curtains to check out the animatronics! A few moments later the show was on. Seeming the lifeless drummer kick in to action. Simultaneously the curtains open up behind me. Looking over to my cousin staring up at the bassist. We both believed these robots were alive in some way or another. Our parents noticing where we disappeared to came running. Half embarrassed while getting a kick out of it. And then came the pizza 🍕 So many good memories there. I still drive by the building everyday to work. How time has changed.
I’ve been looking forward to this video! This was my local Chuck E Cheese’s and I can confirm they had Buzzy Buzzy Bee. I spent most of my visits as a kid rotating between that and Skee Ball!

Thank you for the comprehensive video! When I was younger I was a part of the community. I often filmed here but have since privated my videos, this was back in like 2015 lol. The memories will always be there though! ❤
This is awesome to see a video over this special location. I'm in Missouri, but I usually went to Paducah to see the three stage band. I miss them so much, but I have so many great memories.

Good work on this video! You sure covered a lot of ground. Very interesting history. Very sad at the end with the 2.0 remodel. The only thing left of 3 stage are the slanted walls.
I spent many hours as a kid in this particular on in Paducah. I miss the old original showbiz. Chucky just wasn't as good. It's still there but alot of the stores in the mall have closed in the last few years.
We didn't have an Uncle Grumpy animatronic or whatever.
By the early 90s, the Billy Bob costume was rancid. One of the people that wore it would...ahem...take liberties with himself in it.
The TV room would play sports on the TV, but I don't know if it was all the time.

This brought me back to my childhood. I visited Showbiz Pizza in Paducah many times as a kid.

Nice history! Oh, and also, something unrelated, there was a time where a squirrel scored an unofficial touchdown on the Louisville field in the 2010s, it was an amazing sight. Did you see it? The announcer was cheering him on.

I know you are really busy, but you can do a history of other Chuck E. Cheese's around the states. Like Madison, TN, Tulsa, OK, a while later on.
I miss Showbiz. It was so much better than Chuck E. Cheese.

Paducah Kentucky was the CEC we went to the few times we went. As it was much closer to southern Illinois. As of now I took my former girlfriends niece and nephew and they have indeed ditched the animatronics. As for the past, the last time I went with the family was in 2014 to my young cousins birthday party. The Chuck E animatronic had a change to the head.

I could be imagining this but I distinctly remember there used to be a big diorama of a war field where you could drive little tanks and stuff at the one by me.
My brother went there multiple times before the unification and I after unification. Sad to see how much its gone down since the early 2000’s. Also Buzzy Buzzy Bee was at that location, at least when I went from 2003-2010.

You should do the history of either the former chuck e cheese's in dallas tx for being very special or the old chuck e cheese's in kansas city for being the first showbiz
nice to see a video about my local! went semi-regularly from 2009-2015 and i never once saw their jasper or helen walkarounds. had birthdays there in 2009 and 2012. also can confirm that they did have buzzy buzzy bee.
there exists another aerial photo from ~1983 of paducah as a showbiz, and also one from 1995 as a chuck e. cheese's pizza. it became a cec-p around november 1992, not long after concept unification.
i have a few photos of the interior from somewhere around 1996, showing their pasqually/middle stage, ball pit, 1994 head/tuxedo walkaround costume, and other parts of the gameroom/showroom. a couple things of note; the wall by pasqually's stage (in between the wooden wall paneling and the emergency door) are bare, with no record posters. unsure why. also, one of the game room photos includes a ptt chuck e. carousel ride. i would assume from a closed location?
i remember going to this location.since that they had to remove the animatronics

Could you do one on the CEC in Augusta, GA? It’s across the street from the Augusta Mall and seems to still be open with people going in. Could you also enable captions for your videos?
There’s a video on this platform of the store undergoing CU. Every time I drive by it seems to be somewhat busy. It’s also one of the stores that had the yogi bear show.
So sadly, the robots from this show have been destroyed… All except for One… I can confirm this.

Showbiz pizza had only one female animatronic character and Chuck e cheese pizza might've had only one female animatronic show room character, but there was three female cabaret animatronic characters named Dolly dimples, harmony howlette, madam oink, but there was, also one female animatronic character who was not playing on stage, but was on video screen named Bella bunny

I have a theory what if Freddy Fazbear's had their own Pizza Time theater location it would be called Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Time theater and it would have the four main animatronics Freddy Bonnie Chica and Foxy as well as one side character and there would also be a Freddy Fazbear mascot costume walk around character he would look very similar to Billy Bob from ShowBiz Pizza but with a few differences
