    Also sounds cool if you record at a higher octave then pitch down before playing

    Thanks for your elaboration.
    I use the ko2 for drums mainly, but that's because I miss live re-sampling. Latch would also be nice.
    But nevertheless, that sampling down of nice synth sounds makes awesome drones. Imagine being able to pitch them up again without losing the grain and the new speed..

    That's indeed amazing functionality. Love the KO2. I was expecting you to run Plaits through it and sample a few pads. Maybe for a next vid?

    Ok sold, getting a K.OII to go with my Odyssey. Might even put it all through the Boss RPS-10 as well 😂
    Your videos are always so inspiring and full of aural goodness. Please release some of your ‘demo’s’ to purchase because I’m sure most of us here would happily buy them.

    This is sick! Just got an EP-1320 Medieval and have a Korg Minilogue XD. I’m a total beginner so could you link those 2 cables you mentioned at the top? I’m looking to use a similar setup.

      Thanks! It’s just a mini jack to MIDI cable, and a mini jack to jack cable :)

    So it can play samples polyphonically but Digitakt 2 can’t?

    • @squarelanguage
      @squarelanguage 3 месяца назад +1

      Yeah, though keep in mind you still have a voice limit, 12 iirc, which is shared among all samples (drums, etc.)

    In about 4 decades making music as a hobby I never really used a sampler. Will you be the one to change my mind?
    I sold most of my hardware synths as well already, but I am sure there are other sounds to play around with.

    What type of midi cable is that? DIN to 1/8” type A?

      That’s right! It came with the knobula poly cinematic module.
