There is a wide array of wine growers in the region, producing many varietals, but definitely the FLX has earned a reputation for Riesling. Some producers are more European in their approach looking to create wines which are varietally expected, while others are looking to express their terroir in their own way.
This is a truly a delightful elixir that never fails to elevate any moment.
Can’t wait to visit!
The Finger Lakes is a great destination, can't recommend it enough.
@@tasted.television Once is AMAZING. This will be my second time visiting. The food, the place, the employees, it’s truly incredible
@@marianarias313 Thanks!
@@marianarias313 That’s great to know, thanks.
Cool to see the Finger Lakes are attracting people who love wine from around the world.
This is a region which is making some noise and people who know, KNOW.
I want to come for a visit, we’ll definitely hit the Dr Frank Winery for this Blance de Blanc.
Enjoy.
I’m very curious about the Riesling, definitely will hunt it down.
Please do, our team was impressed. And as Antonio mentioned, the FLX region really is doing some great Rieslings.
I am typically skeptical about Pinot Nor from the Finger Lakes, but bill definitely give Element a visit.
Definitely pick it up, we're pretty sure you'll love it - or we wouldn't have included this wine.
This place looks great, very NYC versus FLX. We’ll check it out next weekend.
That's great, we'll look for your posts. We're sure you'll love it.
I had no idea the Finger Lakes was making such good wines now.
Katherine, there are some really talented people in the region. This is where you go for all you need to know: www.fingerlakeswinecountry.com
I didn’t realize you all have 11 lakes, cool name for a wine bar.
We agree.
is it just me or are the finger lakes finally getting love in the city? i like finding them on menus.
Absolutely - a number of NYC restaurants have FLX wines on their menu, as well as other bistros, bars and more throughout the state and beyond.
Antonio, what’s your recommendation for a DRY Reiesling from your region?
So is a Mosel-style Riesling the signature wine in the Finger Lakes?
