I hate how fans treat Howie like an afterthought. I remember reading a story somewhere back in the day that he was hesitant to do this Lupus event for his late sister alone because he didn't think the fans cared about him as much and honestly, I can't blame him for feeling that way. Heartbreaking.
I feel so bad looking back. I was all about Brian and Nick, but in recent years I’m all about Howie. I went to one of his Howie Eatz event and he was the absolute sweetest! I went to 3 shows and he remembered me at the 2nd and 3rd one. He’s now my fave and Brian my boyfriend (first crush) 😂 But to be fair, Brian and Nick were marketed as the ones to love. I watched the Disney special daily and Howie had very little camera time. It was all about Brian and Nick. Same with other TV recordings. So little girls fell in love with who was on the screen.
I see two things here: Brian and Howie having a great time for charity and entertaining the audience. It’s hilarious and endearing how they can poke fun at themselves. Love it! And… as I’ve said for decades… there’s no one like AJ! 😉
Yes. It's even more evident the further back you go in their album history. I don't know if they'll ever be able to achieve similar success again now that he's suffering vocal problems. He's gotten better with therapy, and can at least sing the beginning of I want it that way again with out fading out, but his vocal strength in mid to low notes is lost. I'm not sure he will ever go back to how amazing he was on these older videos. Brian was unparalleled in his prime. Great being able to hear it so well here.

He was truly so incredibly talented before his vocal issues it makes me so sad every time I’m reminded of it. His voice was one of a kind. There was a reason he was the main vocalist. I appreciate how hard he tries for us but it has to be so mentally taxing on him to know what his illnesses have stolen from him.

1:23 can't stop replaying howie's soprano😁💕💕💕. I think howie's can't decide wether 2 use his real rock voice or falsetto to sing this song. Thus he messed up & sound off here & there😅. Personally i think howie's voice r more like rockers voice but bsb r not rock group thus he become the bsb falsetto's.
This is a really cute performance but come on, it shows that these type of songs do NOT suit Howie's voice. Hearing him try to sing AJ and Nick's parts was a good effort, but it makes sense why he didn't sing lead very often. Yes, Brian tried to tell Full Force that Howie shouldn't get a lead part in All I Have To Give, but come on, do ppl really believe that Brian has an extensive history of doing that in every recording session?

In fairness he isn’t singing his own part. AJ’s part is much lower than what Howie typically sings. So of course he isn’t going to cover it well in comparison to Brian who is singing the verse of the song he actually sings.
