PORTISHEAD - Sour Times - REMASTERED 2024

Sour Times" is one of the best track by English trip hop group PORTISHEAD from their debut album Dummy (1994).
The original song uses a sample from Argentine composer Lalo Schifrin's "Danube Incident" from the 1967 album More Mission: Impossible.
To pay homage to PORTISHEAD, idea was to re-record the song from scratch using traditional instruments instead of the original sample (Guitar, Bass, Drum); vocal track was extracted using Lalai.ai v4.

I guess this is good to focus on Beth's voice. But .. Portishead is more than just Beth. It's the music, too. And this removed all that is great about the music that goes with her voice.
