That was one of the most fun and exciting races I've seen in a while! Go Team JPH!

Nice race! That hustle on the hill paid off. You got me there lap 1 (520 in green) and then I was just to your rear the rest of the way. Kudos… now I know I need to practice some run ups! 😅

Yes that hill was something special. It's the same hill I remember my parents describing when they said they had to walk to school back in the day uphill both ways.

Good race! What a mud-bath!! What tyres were you running? Looked like you had pretty decent traction and the seemed to shed the mud off pretty well. Tubeless, clinchers, tubulars? And of course PSI? I'm terrible in mud so I'm looking for all the help I can get!

I love racing in the mud! Running the Challenge Grifo Pro TLR 33. Tubeless, set up on some wheels that are branded Level (from a bike brand called Ribble), 40mm deep, old wheelset from my road bike. I think the internal on those wheels is 19mm. They did shed mud pretty well, I don't have many races with the tires but they seem to be holding up pretty well. I was running 31psi rear, 29psi front. These tires are a 300 tpi though so they do feel very soft even when they are inflated on the high side. I'm about 150lbs. Lowest recommended PSI on these tires is 26psi so I think I had some room to go even lower.

@@justpushharder Thanks for your reply and information. I just bought some Challenge Chicane tires for hard pack / dry grassy conditions to replace an old set of Panracers. I'll have to look at the Grifo's. I was thinking of buying a set of the Limus, specifically for mud but the Grifo might be a better all-round option. Appreciate it. Good luck the rest of the season and keep the vids coming!
