Isn't it fun to have private little hidden spaces to write? And I hope you'll enjoy Friday's video as well - bubble prints inspired by YOU! I was nervous about it as I didn't have the right supplies, but it was a fun experiment and you are so wonderful to have suggested it!
@@annekenlon Wow!!! I´m sure I´ll enjoy the Friday´s video! You´re so dedicated in everything you do! I like this technique because it´s fun and very cheap... On Twesday I painted some papers with the chlorophyll from my plant ora-pro-nobis, to make some vintage envelopes for my Christmas cards... I´t was fun too.
This slider journaling space is fantastic! Beautiful work as normal. ❤ Yes to your Gel-Plate work. You and I do what I call, " Gel-Plate that makes sense" 😂🤣😂🤣😂 I don't need 30 sheets of gel-prints on tissue. ❤ I love how you do envelopes and other usable prints. Many thanks! ❤❤❤
Anne I'm interested in anything you do. As I have mentioned I don't do journaling, I do enjoy all techniques used to make them. I'm looking forward to the video you're planning on doing background papers. 🎉🎉 Good for you getting out there for a craft show. Pray your time with your grandson was a great one.🤗☃️
The Seinfeld episode--I thought of it instantly! I'm in the middle of making a JJ for a friend and running out of ideas to make interesting tags and journal cards--this is perfect!
Sue, so happy these ideas were timely for you! I have lots of tag and card ideas and I'm always looking for more! How kind of you to make your friend a journal!
Maybe if you add a little tab glued not stapled to the back envelope on the left it may help you from pinching the file folder strip? Just a thought loved the little wallet at the end!
A-ha, now there's a good tip for dodging the anchor strip! I did do a few taps out of paper circles, which worked nicely, but I still always revert to wanting to use a lace or fabric tab, too - they all work! Thanks for your thoughts, I appreciate you!
Oh, that's so cool! We always go to Oregon City when we have company - everyone loves the Oregon Trail Museum! Thanks for saying hi, neighbor, I appreciate your watching!
Yes, please with the gel plate and background papers. I have watched several you tube videos on gel plate use and cannot decide if I want to try it or not.😁
I love this idea, I am giving it a go. Thankyou for sharing. And we still watch Seinfeld in syndication. Hugs from Roxanne In Virginia way across the US.
Thanks so much, Roxanne! Seinfeld was a staple for my Netflix viewing back in the lockdown days of quarantine. Thanks for watching, I hope you have fun with this project!
Goodmorning Anne well so super cute and something I've never seen before!! As you know I guess I'm making sm sliders❤❤❤. As far as the Gelli printing video go I'd LOVE if you did some. I've had one for like a yr now and have watched alot of tutorials but idk I feel like there really advanced videos. So I definitely be intrested in seeing some!! Enjoy your day😊
I know I'm not stupid but my brain is having trouble wrapping around this idea no pun intended😂😂😅😂😂😂I am so anxious to do things that I'm not clearly understanding. So I think I'll watch this again on another day maybe it will make sense to me. Anne its not your tutorial it's me very unmechanically savy. Fun to watch though😊❤❤❤❤❤
I had to watch a couple of times too. Then while staring at my sliding door to my deck, it made sense. I'm going to make several now to share with my teenage granddaughters. They are good with decorating (much better than I am!) but I want to make the cards from envelopes.
Actually you can get a allergic reaction to the glue on envelopes. At one time they put formaldehyde in the glue. Don’t know if they still do, but a young lady I used to work with was allergic to formaldehyde and told me all the things that have it.
Gel plates aren’t my thing so I usually skip those videos and leave them for others to enjoy, but I watch pretty much everything else junk journal related 😊
Excellent video and Your voice is soothing to my ears. Thank goodness for you!
Sheila, you're so kind - thank you!
Another vote YES for gel print demonstrations. Your background papers are fab, and I've been wondering exactly how to make them.
Thanks so much! I'm so inspired by Julie - I'll be doing more soon!
Wow, how fun are these? I love interactive projects. Yes to gel print.
Thanks so much, Sandi! I"m planning the gel print video right now - it'll be out soon!
This is ingenious! I love these sort of interactive elements in cards and journals. Yes please for gelli plate backgrounds 😊❤
Thank you, Yvonne! I'll plan the gel plate video soon!
Neat idea to hide journaling spots. Thanks for sharing! Ohhh I love the little booklet. So cute
Thanks so much for watching!! I love the little booklet, too!
What a fun idea! Yes, please do some gel plate videos and any other techniques for creating background papers.
Thanks, Christiana! I'm working on some more background techniques right now!
What an interesting project! I always enjoy secret spaces! I´d love to see your gelli plate backgrounds, please! TFS!🩷🩷🩷🩷🌹🌹🌹🌹

I live in Oregon City!! I was excited when you mentioned Portland!!
Oh, that's so cool! We always go to Oregon City when we have company - everyone loves the Oregon Trail Museum! Thanks for saying hi, neighbor, I appreciate your watching!
Great idea and your explanation was easy to follow. I had a little trouble with the three envelopes, but a little manipulation and it worked. TFS!
I'm so glad you liked it! It's really fun to see them come together. 😊
Thank you for this sliding cards.
Thanks, Dee - I hope you try this fun technique!

Thanks so much, Katharine! There's something quite intriguing about them, I agree!
Really interesting idea!
Thanks, this was fun! We love us a good secret journaling spot, don't we?!
Brilliant!
Thanks, Susan! The idea was Vanessa's, but I really had fun putting my spin on it!
Very nice idea

Thanks, Shawn! I'll be coming up with a gel print video soon - I'm no expert, but we can all learn together!

Thanks so much, Suzy! It took me a minute watching Vanessa's Instagram video to get to the "a-HA!" moment, too!

Yikes! I don't know why licking envelopes sort of skeeves me out, but I'm glad I opted to use my glue instead!
Gel plates aren’t my thing so I usually skip those videos and leave them for others to enjoy, but I watch pretty much everything else junk journal related 😊
Thanks, Debbie, I appreciate you watching my other stuff! I'm still new to gel printing but I do find I can use the results a lot in my journals.
I tried gelplate printing & failed - so a tutorial on this would be fantastic, please. And this project is soooo cute 😊
Kaz, I'm no expert on it, but we can learn together. For really great tutorials, I recommend the dear Julie Torrens!
@annekenlon I'm sure you're great at gel printing 👍😉 & thanks for the recommendation, I will check Julie out.
