I used to own this VHS, me and my brother would watch this video every year, dreaming of having sleds we couldn't afford lol. Brings back a lot of memories!
I remember going to the dealerships as a kid to get parts for our machines and they handed out those videos to us. Then we would beg our Dads to buy new sleds all winter, great marketing strategy. I think we wore some of those videos out playing them over and over. I remember almost falling over when I saw the red formula plus x with the red windshield, we thought that was so cool.
I had the 93 mach z,,there was only 18 built for the entire northeast and I had it,,bought it at alpin haus in Amsterdam ny,,I remember the cylinder would drop on a hard acceleration, that was one of the problems,,I took the motor to Lanny Benoit,he and the ski doo race shop built the engine and Larry at the crank shop made the pipes,, nothing in my area could touch this thing,,the real secret was the clutch,, Lanny had a spring made for it a 580/320 spring with the tra clutch,, the comet was junk,it would not handle the harmonics of the motor, once the tra was on ,it was Night and day, had 3 Mikunis 48mm in place of the flatslides,,the track was replaced with a speed track with plates welded on to the track clips for 1 in picks,, so all the weight was right on the studs, out of the hole the sled was a rocket,no track spin top speed in 660 was 122,the motor on the dyno was 204 hp and ran 114 race gas, what a wild winter, then I got a 96 formula 3,a 97 mach z,, and a 2006 mach z 1000,, still have the 97 and the 1000, that motor was built by the crankshop, twin exhaust with s TFI BOX hp was 218 on 114 fuel,,,those were the days, when I was young,,now too old to have that fun again

In the late 90's I had a 1993 Mach I -670... That sled was HEAVY, but boy oh boy did it MOVE!!!
yeah, the all metal front bulkheads didnt help the weight.
Had an f chassis purple formula z and formula three, the formula 3 with a one inch track kept up with a new f6, gave the guy fitts😂

I can believe it.
Plus and Mach with low windshield are the hottest sleds ever made
peter hennig wish I could find a 93 plus x that was mint. The seat on these models was also the best ever. And fast
Up until the yamaha srx 700 came out they now my second fave looking sled.
Idk, blizzard 7500 and 9500 were dope when they were new...
