I've been working in the world of semiconductors and small systems for two decades now, barely remembering the larger world of electronics. This was a *perfect* refresher that kept me from needing to pull out my undergrad textbooks. Bravo!
if i have an AC motor advertised as being 220/360, can i just run it in any configuration or do i have to chose one of star/delta to run it in 220v 3ph?
Thanks for watching! Yes the resistance would be the constant physical value of the load. Imagine a physical ten ohm resistor. When you take it out of the circuit it is still a ten ohm resistor no matter what voltage you apply to it.
it would also help balance the voltage on phases as bonus to other single phase sensitive consumers like computers and the spark ignition of some gas stoves
Excellent Explanation! Thanks...

This is perfect, thak you for te best explanation ever.
Thank you for the encouraging words!

Perfect for understanding of entry learning
Thank you for the video sir. But , the values of resistors will remain unchanged in both Y & delta connections?

@@schulerruler thank you sir 😁
Why is the centre point of the WYE load shown as connected to neutral when it is NOT and should not be connected to Neutral of the supply?
In Wye the center is connected to neutral.
it would also help balance the voltage on phases as bonus to other single phase sensitive consumers like computers and the spark ignition of some gas stoves
Thanks Man excellent and good vídeos
Thank you!
Hi sir. Can we consider or calculate the 3 single phase resistive load connected in 3 phase panel on a 3phase calculation?
With a neutral?
Good stuff!!
