Sirji; I don't agree with your comments on the future of electric vehicles in our country; does anybody know that 70% of the power generated in India is by burning coal, and just check the amount of pollution it produces; secondly, lithium & associated minerals (rare earths) required for the batteries are extremely difficult to produce & also to dispose off after use....due to environment concerns...more newer technologies like hydrogen, biomethane, and hybrid fuel cars will also compete; regarding extinction of fossil fuels anytime soon is only a wild guess; just check the recent oil & natural gas finds in a poor country like Guyana😮; also one can never straightaway extrapolate EV stats from advanced country's to countries like India due to it's huge population, demographics, socioeconomic status, quality of infrastructure etc etc.....we have a very long way to go in terms of quality infrastructure which entails safety!! Hybrid car technology will compete neck to neck with EV!😅 Thanks 👍🙏

Sir, when worrying about EV and crude oil, people tend to ignore that the biggest consumers of oil are airplanes and ships. It is technically not viable to have electric ships or airplanes due to many technological barriers. Moreover nearly every daily item we use are derived in some form, one or other way from crude oil.

Sir, please take my question... Post December 2018, Interest Rate declined from 6.50 to 4, during this period Nifty GS 10 Year Indices went 1600 to 2000. But, post April 2022, when Interest Rate shot up from 4 to 6.50, that time Nifty GS 10Y went up as well from 2000 to 2300. It is understandable that with cut in Rate of Interest, the long term maturity bond perform better. But, after comparing Nifty 10Y G Sec with Rate, this correlation does not justify. Sir, when worrying about EV and crude oil, people tend to ignore that the biggest consumers of oil are airplanes and ships. It is technically not viable to have electric ships or airplanes due to many technological barriers. Moreover nearly every daily item we use are derived in some form, one or other way from crude oil.

Post December 2018, Interest Rate declined from 6.50 to 4, during this period Nifty GS 10 Year Indices went 1600 to 2000.
But, post April 2022, when Interest Rate shot up from 4 to 6.50, that time Nifty GS 10Y went up as well from 2000 to 2300.
It is understandable that with cut in Rate of Interest, the long term maturity bond perform better. But, after comparing Nifty 10Y G Sec with Rate, this correlation does not justify. What I am missing here, please guide

And on the contrary, how much should a stock increase at such PE valuations if the bull market continues and co. earns well.
