My honest opinion about this season is that, for casual players, it fell short. Many were expecting an experience more faithful to the OG season, but the remix ended up not meeting those expectations. It became evident that Epic Games took advantage of the OG theme as an opportunity to boost partnerships, collaborations with artists, and, of course, generate profit. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but it's noticeable that the main focus wasn't on the player experience. The season brought several amazing artists and collaborations, which is great for the longevity of the game, but it also came with plenty of bugs that didn’t receive proper attention. It seems like Epic was more concerned with monetizing than delivering a polished experience, and that frustrated many players. On the other hand, my perspective has changed. Today I can understand the company’s side. Keeping a game sustainable for so long isn’t easy, and I see that Epic is making smart choices to ensure that. Maybe they’re not delivering everything we want, but they’re building something solid for the future. For the first time in 5 years, I feel like I can trust the direction Fortnite is taking. I believe the game has the potential to become a classic, like CS:GO, and this perspective excites me. Another important point is not getting stuck in comparisons with the Travis Scott event. That was unique, not just because it was the first experience of its kind in Fortnite, but also because it was a personal project by Travis. Events like that are hard to replicate because they carried his signature-his vibe, his style. Comparing everything to that is a surefire path to frustration. This season, for example, we had top-notch animations and an emotional tribute to Juice WRLD, which was very well executed. You can’t expect to feel the same thing as with the Travis event because that experience was remarkable for being unprecedented. It’s fairer to value what each season and each event brings that is new. In conclusion, even with its flaws, I see Fortnite moving towards becoming a game that will last for many years. Epic is learning and evolving, and it’s up to us to also view things with more balance and trust.
I don’t care if this is a Monsterverse adaptation, the original Godzilla was just a guy in a suit much like Monks and other skins we’ve seen before, it’s funny but it wouldn’t really be out of character for the g man. Especially him from the old Japanese movies. *Godzilla dropkick flashbacks*
Here’s some things to point out: kinetic blades are coming back, there will be a balalalala emote from big hero six in game when Baymax drops: new swords: new giant turtle: new leaping and rolling mechanic
Another thing to point out is the two blades they have don't forget that. We see a new blade for one a few seconds in small detailing next up to kinetic blades We have an actual samurai sword that seems to have a decent radius and the kinetic blades are returning. We live in the best timeline
