Hey Backyard Blasters I think you need to put a big disclaimer up over your 1911 when in store saying not to dry fire or else the grey basically bolt/follower will fly out. alot of people seem to have this issues and it will show your the better man by pointing this out.

It would depend on how badly the magazine chews up the darts, though...
What is the size and dimensions of the firing spring? Maybe I can try to get one that is a little stronger (but not too strong that it will break the gun) so the bullet won't go straight down but at least be able to go a few feet farther when you fire,
This video was very helpful because I have a Double eagle 1911 BB/ Airsoft gun and the internals are pretty much the same. 😎👍 also funny that I have watched this video in the past.
Do you need the barrel to kick the ball out or can you just click the trig repeatedly. How does a trig like the one in mouse traps and these toys work. It seems like they offer a lot of momentum to any device.

hey man i purchased one but i put in a cut down version of a Nerf bullet and when i tried to fire the bit that pushes the dart snapped of.Do you know if i could glue it back on or is it permanently broken?
TheWhiteVanDriver while you’re at it, don’t paint the barrel orange and make sure you paint the bullets gold, for realistic effect. Then, show it to your friends at a local airport! You’ll get tons of interested security guards hugging you out of jealousy...
I know your probably not gonna respond but I pulled the trigger then pulled the top back then it broke (at the same time) OR the other way around if anyone knows how to fix it pls tell me
The plastic thing that shoots the bullet out will break if you shoot this gun too much I know because it happened to me it came out with the bullet and then the next thing that broke was the piece that helps pull back on the gun when that piece broke it couldn't be fixed so I had to get a new 1
so this is an issue that i have take the mag apart align the spring in that square groove thing than attach the follower. also put WD40 the one for plastic on your follower and spring so its a smoother action. and spray the gun now and than so you dont get that constant shitty clanking sound

It’s a very old video but still trying my luck out of anyone replies can you make this gun blowback automatically without gas and just with the spring and rubber band etc ?? If that’s possible? Also I don’t mind if it doesn’t shoots if it just releases the magazine and blowbacks that’s what I need

Ahem. semi-auto in the broadest sense is everytime you pull the trigger and round would be fired. however because it is a spring powered pistol you cant really shoot rounds right after another without racking it. But you probably already know all of that. so if anything, this "semi-automatic" shooter is more of a pump action pistol. foxmanded42 not sure whether or no you were joking or not XD. but yes the 1911 is normally a semi auto pistol. anyway that was my two cents to give. but like i said you guys probably already knew all of that stuff already.
what part do you mean make sure your barrel spring is allined propperly and i would recommend you spray your gun down with WD40 and also your mags, as my three mags springs become loose and the follower drops down and when i added silicone oil it helped the springs set in place better.

2 years ago I saw this gun in Amazon it was around 1.5k and today I went to a mall and I saw the same one,I saw the price and it is only 299! I ran to my father and forced him to buy , now I am happy again I saw in Amazon and now it’s 2k! I am very lucky
This could fairly easily be converted to shoot live rounds... would it be reliable? Hello no, but still. Basic mechanics are still there. Just replace with metal and add a firing pin. $50 tops.

can you mod this gun so it ejects the rubber bullets when you pull on the slide when there is a rpund in the chamber? like a real slide?
it would be hard but that is absolutely possible. have got any idea how? no. but is possible for sure with some shell cutting and some prototyping.

I have this gun and the grey peice that actually hits the rubber bullets to fire snapped but all my screwdrivers are to wide to fit in the holes.
Go to a hardware store and find one of those smaller screwdriver combination tools.

Disassembles mine...managed to close it back....most of it but the top part of it keeps popping open
