to answer a question you asked directly: no, not all Ateez songs are fast-paced and high-intensity, though many are. There are several that are lighter intensity (Promise or Aurora, for example), and several that are much slower pace (Empty Box or Not Too Late, for example).
In the first scene, did you hear some kind of radio broadcasting sound? It said: "The disease is human emotions." This MV is set in the dystopian parallel universe called World Z where emotions and all forms of art are banned in order to make a variables free perfect world. ATEEZ (from our world> World A) has been chosen to fight the government and lead an anarchial revolution in place of the 8 boys of world Z called Black Pirates/ Halateez (You'll get later on why they're called Halateez). The Halateez needs ATEEZ's help because they've fought alone before and failed. Guerilla is a type of warfare where the revolutionaries/army/people fight in small groups in multiple sites at once or in succession. It is used to infiltrate enemy's defense with a small number of fighters. Although you're not watching the MVs in chronological order so it'll be a little challenging to grasp all the events going on. But don't worry, I didn't watched them in order either. I'd suggest that you enjoy the music and the overall aesthetic and try to figure out on your own. And whenever you watch another MV just a quick look on the release date so that you know when to connect what. If you try to take in all the storyline in your first reactions it'll be A LOT overwhelming and ultimately might take out the joy of coming up with your own opinions. In the future when you're sure you've gone through enough or half of their discography THEN venture out to lore videos. And this is coming from a hardcore Atiny who has dived deeper than hell in the ATEEZ Storyline rabbithole. I enjoyed the video so much. Have a great day!
@@melovesawyer Ah yes I know. I just wanted to make the comment as short as I could so I took half of the sentence. It was enough to explain the rest of the scene. But thanks for pointing out! It'll be helpful for people looking for the complete broadcast. The radio did sound scratchy and incomprehensible.
@@Rika_tiny for anyone doing an extra deep dive, it's a quote from the movie Equilibrium (the MV has some visual references to it as well, together with several other films like Fritz Lang's Metropolis)
@@LadyTiferet Equilibrium and Metropolis?? Its my first time hearing of those movies. Its more Lore-time now!! Thank you for sharing this!! I'm gonna go look more into these! Again, thanks a ton! How come I never came across that bit of info!? Edit: The Equilibrium movie is full on World Z coded. Down to the details!?
@@Rika_tiny yup, the whole Z dimension is based on Equilibrium, and by extension on 1989 and Fahrenheit 451 (the latest adaptation of Fahrenheit was an inspiration for some views in the XR concert) And that backdrop with big GUERRILLA letters is an homage to a famous Metropolis poster.
Ateez has 8 members! Guerrilla: 2:02 is Hongjoong, he is the leader, but is called the captain 3:08 is Yunho 3:29 is Yeosang 3:36 is Seonghwa, he is the oldest 4:09 is San, with the blonde hair 4:53 is Jongho in the center, he is the youngest and the one that does the high notes 6:01 is Mingi 7:15 is Wooyoung Crazy Form: 13:01 is San, with the red hair 13:08 is Yunho 13:45 is Mingi 14:31 is Jongho 14:40 is Seonghwa 15:26 is Yeosang 15:55 is Hongjoong 17:20 is Wooyoung 16:20, yes, they have a lot of fast paced songs, it's their style, especially their title tracks, but they also have slower songs which are also really good! In the end of their songs, they usually give us a snippet of the sound of the next comeback, or they give us a piece of their lore, which is very complicated. Other great title tracks you can check out are: Wonderland Halazia Answer Thanxx Hala hala Fireworks (I'm the one) The real (흥 version) Bouncy Turbulence And there are a lot more awesome songs to check out, but I listed some of the more popular ones. I hope this helps!!😊
Crazy Form in the story timeline is when the revolution is over. It was a success and now they're trying to go back to their world. (You can see the 2 members in a lab repairing something and the holographic pirate ship in the sky.) In the end, they were able to go back. The blue bird flying away represented that this world is finally free. They travel through the worlds by a Hourglass-looking powerful relic called Cromer. (Cromer will be mentioned throughout their discography A LOT.) Cromer can help them travel between worlds on full moon(the reason there was a full moon in the end of the song must have been cleared now.) And when the moon is in crescent, Cromer can send messages between worlds through dreams. This song is so 'crazy' because they wanna show this long oppressed world to live freely with their emotions now. Not every scene really fits in the storyline and some parts contradict each other a lot but those things are to be considered later. Or you might get lost in it all ^^
The clue is in the name. They are guerillas fighting against the oppression of human emotions in a world where music is banned (hence the huge speaker at the start) .
Aww thank you for your kind words! And if it weren't for SKZ I wouldn't have known Kpop has such gems. I was a stay first and foremost and I still keep skz close to my heart! (P.s. God's Menu was my first skz song but Miroh is my fav.)
@Rika_Hane I am so glad you found them! I find it fascinating the different ways people reach their way to K-pop or their favourite groups and I love to see everyone's journey. My first Skz song was Charmer and my first favourite song as a Baby Stay was Thunderous. It's been more than a year I think since I couldn't choose a favourite song anymore. The same goes for Ateez, I can't choose just one song. But back then Guerilla and/or Cyberpunk were the peak for me. The first song I ever listened from them was Pirate King, but I went down the rabbit hole with Bouncy.
Ah same, I found SKZ first, but then quickly connected to TXT too and (now) ATZ too, like I listened to ATZ for so long but never really got into them but now I am!@@Rika_tiny
Went to LA day 1 and Guerrilla was life changing. Thousands of Atinys screaming Break The Wall is truly an amazing experience. The whole concert was mindblowing and I couldn't believe how fast 3 hours went by. If you ever get the chance to see ATEEZ live, take it!❤
I went to LA day 1 as well. It was my first Kpop concert ever and I enjoyed every moment of it!! I had heard of the Atiny's screaming Break The Wall and knew it was loud. Man even before the concert started it was wild and amazing hearing all the fans singing. I loved it sooo much! I want to see Ateez in concert again they are soooo good and very energetic!
Before you watch the Kingdom:Legendary War episodes you might want to watch the Ateez guide as well. Since both Ateez and Stray Kids are in Kingdom and it might be nice to know in advance why their performances are always Pirate themed and have an hourglass in them. Why Ateez’ Woo Young acts like that towards Changbin and Felix, and also to prepare yourself mentally for Jongho.
Ateez time lets gooo🙌🏽 So yes, Ateez has a lot of lore & a whole storyline with themes of multiple dimensions, post-apocalyptic worlds, & anarchy, with Ateez themselves having a pirate concept, so all of those little scenes at the end of the mvs have to do with their storyline. It’s a lot to follow but there’s media out there that explains it as well as storyline videos & the diary versions of their albums. A lot of their music, especially the title tracks, are hard-hitting, fast paced, anthem-like songs, but they are quite the vocal-focused group & a lot of their b-sides are lovely melodic ballads, & fun relaxing tracks with pop & r&b influences. Im so excited for you to see & hear all they have to offer! StayTiny fighting!🙌🏽🔥
I LOVE ATEEZ!! I will say I have struggled too to try to interpret their lyrics sometimes but I think it has more to do with the actual English translations we see maybe not making sense or sounding conventional to native English speakers than the lyrics being weird. Just keep that in mind, and also that is just my opinion 😅 but they have crazy in depth lore that I’m sure Atinys will help you with!
I have a request. Can you react to xdinary heroes? They are a south korean band and play their own instruments! You could react to undefined, money on my mind, or maybe happy death day
Oooh yes!!! I second the XH request. They also did a cover of Skz Hellavator which is pretty amazing! Also, I've seen them live and they're phenomenal 🔥
When you said you love their dancing I had to say this: Watch their KQ Fellaz Performance videos! There are 4 dance performances (covers) released before their debut with one of them being a solo for the main dancer, Yunho. (Although all of them are main dancers to be honest!)
The reason why the vibe of the two songs/mv’s are similar is bc they are a part of the same storyline/lore and take place at I believe the beginning of the revolution (guerilla) and the end (crazy form). So no, you are not crazy😂. Also, the guy with the blue hair guy with the cool vocal part in crazy form is yunho, and it’s called a vocal flip! He’s actually the main dancer and dance leader and leads the beginning of the dance break for both guerilla and crazy form!
Trust me, you will enjoy the performance. The stage presents the dance skills that they have in every single one of their videos and live performances and don’t even get me started on the slow songs cause they’re just as great.
I can answer your issue about what the song is about for Guerrilla. Ateez have a story that they are very dedicated to. There are 2 worlds, world A is basically our world, and world Z is another dimension. World Z is a little dystopian. The government in world Z has taken control of the people and brainwashed the entire population with neural microchips to no longer feel any emotions because the government believed having no emotions would make the world run more efficiently and safer. However, some people in world Z have found ways to break the connection of the microchips and start feeling emotions again. In world Z all forms of art are illegal, because art stirs emotions, so music and dance are illegal. There is a group of rebels in world Z called The Black Pirates (the world Z versions of Ateez that the fans have chosen to call Halateez). The Black Pirates discovered that hearing music and viewing art can cause such a strong surge of emotions in the brainwashed people that it can overwhelm and break the neural microship. The Black Pirates also found a magical device called a chromer (looks like a sand hourglass, you see 1 version of it broken at the end of Crazy form, Ateez found the version from world A so there have been 2 versions, 1 has for sure been broken though) that allows the holder spacial, time and dimensional travel depending on the moon cycle. (Certain points in the moon cycle are more magical and allow more powerful use of the chromer). The Black Pirates used the chromer to contact Ateez in world A and kind of tricked Ateez into travelling to world Z to help with the rebellion against the government. Even though Ateez was pulled into world Z against their will in the beginning, they do decide to stay and join their dopplegangers from world Z in the rebellion. Guerrilla is all about the start of that rebellion. Ateez are doing little acts of artistic rebellion in public places to try to break peoples brainwashing and wake them up. Prestige Academy is the biggest school in the area of world Z that partakes in the worst of the brainwashing. At the end of the video we see that their rebellious acts have managed to wake up some of the students from Prestige Academy. Like I said, Ateez are so dedicated to their story that it's told through everything they do. It's told in teasers and trailers before the music videos come out. It's depicted in the music videos. The lyrics of the music even depict the story a lot of the time, like here in Guerrilla, though not all the time. In the Diary versions of their physical albums there are entries almost like a comic book that tells parts of the story. They even include story in their live performances so much that their recent tour setlist was directed by a musical stage director.
Well where should I start: I have been an atiny aka fan since heir debut with pirate king (you should check it out), there are 8 members HoongJoong (aka captain and leader and rapper), San ( my ult bias), Mingi (deep voice and also rapper and my second bias), Seonghwa (my 3rd bias and also one who everyone falls for), jongho ( very high notes), yunho, Wooyoung and yeosang. They are best friends with SKZ and vice versa. They are known as pirates as thru out their entire discography they have a storyline/lore about them being rebels/ pirates. You know when San is around as 99% of the time he isn't wearing a top/shirt. They also have their own show called Ateez Wanteez (which if you want to get to know their individual personalities I suggest you watch) Like I said at the top I've been a atiny since they debuted back in 2018 which also happened to be the same year Skz also debut, their company is KQ which isnt part of the big 4 entertainment companies in south Korea,.
I don't even know with what I should begin lol. I am a Stay, I do not know the information about Ateez that well, so I will let Atinys explain better, I do not want to spread misinformation. But yes, Ateez as well as other groups have their own concept and Guerilla & Crazy Form are not from the same album, this is their colour in music. Guerilla came out on 29th July 2022 as a title track for the mini-album THE WORLD EP.1: MOVEMENT. If I am not mistaken, they are talking about not being allowed to feel emotions by the government, so they use music as a tool, a movement to spread their emotions and thoughts. Guerilla was my favourite song from them, but I can not choose just one song as my favourite now. I want to blast Guerilla every time I hear it as loud as possible, but I am afraid I will lose my hearing by the age of 25 and I won't be able anymore to hear their masterpieces. + As a rock and metal fan I observed there are a lot of K-pop stans that are also rock/metal fans haha. Crazy Form came out on 1st December 2023 as a title track for the album THE WORLD EP.FIN: WILL. And the trailers from the end are related to the lore and they are also spoilers for the next comeback/album. I think the end for Guerilla shows the kid escaping the institution/school where the government make people emotionless and spoils Halazia I think (what a great song too). The end in Crazy Form spoiled Work's album, GOLDEN HOUR: PART.1 . Before I went into the Ateez rabbit hole, I thought they were a lot more famous, but since then I have always believed that they are underrated. I am so happy that they receive more and more recognition, they deserve all the love and support. Also, Hongjoong, the captain🫡, I think is one of the main producers and lyricists, but unfortunately, I do not know about the other members' participation in producing, I am not saying they aren't doing it tho. And the guy hitting those insane high notes, Jongho who is the maknae (youngest) I truly believe that he is one of the best vocalists out there in the industry. Love your reactions, good luck with the K-pop rabbit hole! There's a lot, but it is worth it. I am so sorry if I made mistakes with information or in writing, I am still learning English. Please correct me if I said something wrong.
You're right. And Mingi is also one of the lyricists for ATEEZ. Him and Hongjoong always writes their own rap verses. There's no official info about the other members having much participation in the production and composing of the music but as much as ATEEZ is given creative freedom I believe they must be active in their area of interest in the music production. (Like Atinys say that San wants to try out rapping. Maybe we'll hear his rap in a song one day. Hopefully ^ ^)
In their Album The World EP FIN: WILL...they have sub-unit songs...all members participate in the lyrics...Matz-Hongjoong & Seonghwa, It's You- San, Yeo and Woo, Youth- Mingi & Yunho and last Everything- Jongho. Mostly every album Hongjoong and Mingi got credits in their album. There will be one or two songs which created by Hongjoong in their past Albums. They have their own productions lines in their company called Edenary(top producer name Eden with afew others producers)...Hongjoong n Mingi is part of the members in that productions line since their debut.
I recommend watching the teasers, epilogues and prologues for the MVs/Albums before or after watching the MV. They wont be always helpful but it'll give you a good idea of the concept and all the colors the MV is gonna have. You don't have to make a reaction video for them. You can watch them at your leisure.
Yay! SO glad he's loving our Boys, thank u for reacting to my Ult Group! I donno if i or anyone commented this already, but hopefully it helps. Take your time, this Group has a lot of lore and information. They come from a small company and are basically legends to the upcoming groups in k-pop. Even though, they are young themselves. They have only been in the industry almost five years and have changed the game. There's 8 members and ALL are incredible Performers, vocalists/rappers & dancers. They are called the "Standard of Performance in K-pop". There's only 2 fluent English Speaker ( still Korean), but the members try to learn English. Notes for the Storyline: Halazia is the aftermath of Guerilla. Guerilla is the song that is meant to break everyone out of the evil guys mind control in a world where art n music arent allowed. So they literally start Guerilla Warfare n BREAK THE WALL lol. But they dont win n have to inspire hope again with Halazia. Letting others know that they can they can have their Hearts Awakened, Live Alive & Be the Light even in dark times. They still have a bit of the Pirate Concept thrown in (with songs like Horizen, Dont Stop MV n others), but its more modern n futuristic rebellion freedom fighters. This is for Crazy Form MV: Please note, the endings of their songs contain teasers or connections to the lore. Seonghwa(pronounced Song wha) The oldest- with dark long hair n the corset or the crown of thorns n sash (looking like a statue of liberty for their lore as it ties into freedom) he's a vocalist & visual, insane performer and kinda like a mom (but bullied most of the time by woosan) he's also a lowkey rapper & a part of the demon line (you'll see what we mean) if you see atinys calling him Mother, its an inside joke😭 Hongjoong (pronounced Hong June/ soft g)- the Captain, he's the one with "get up" and on top the car teasing the police. He's a rapper, songwriter, producer for Ateez and he's a lowkey vocalist. Ateez & Atiny don't call him Leader (he's captain- Short and Intense lol). giggles before or in his raps, nasal tone rapper. Yunho (you know)- Lead Dancer (love his movements, they gray haired one tinkering in the shop n leading the dance a few times. Performer and Vocalist (very stable even when doing choreo like wtf) (he's our big puppy and the tallest at over 6 feet). (he was paired with wooyoung for this mv), Yeosang (yoh sang)- (fluffy green n brown hair, looking like a cheshire cat, doing the "taki taki dance" part) hes also a Visual but also a unique (Deep and soothing) Vocalist, Performer (stares into your soul, but is just a little munchkin boi), likes to be called a doberman lol. He's very soft spoken n all the members adore him- they are basically simps for him. he was also paired with hongjoong for the mv as troublemakers/distractions. Mingi (min gee)- Rapper ( doing the rap with the deep voice, in the dodge challenger before he crashes and drinks milk in the bar, he's also paired with Jongho - (but has blond parts/highlights/fluffs in his hair) Writes (and now produces) with Hongjoong and an absolutely dirty Performer ugh🤪but he's pretty introverted and sweet. San- (paired with Seonghwa, white shirt, red hair and grey pants for crazy form- starts the song, 9024 kick that drum) Vocalist, Dancer, Performer and Part of the Demon Line (you'll see what we mean). His name also means Mountain in Korean, so you may see that being mentioned by the members and atiny. He looks fierce but is just adorable. Woo young- (pronounced oo young)- (does the body body, twerk dance on your screen, cute eye mole (he calls it a dot lol) and is known for his cackle of a laugh- ( i love it tho) Dancer, Performer, Vocalist, always with San (choreos too, you will see). Rebellious but loyal🤭He has a softer vocal, very light but can be powerful. Jongho- the best 4th Gen Vocalist (I said what i said), dangerous Performer (ps, he's had limited parts in crazy form due to an injury, he was paired with mingi, in suit with the gun scene) and he's the youngest (he's also the one belting out vocals) and is our haribo gummy bear☺ hes a powerhouse; fierce dancer, bold stage presence n vocals. Our fandom is call Atiny, which is a combination of Ateez and Destiny. Hope you like the songs and check out their albums or past songs. I would recommend New World & the Precious+Treasure Mix, but please be careful when choosing lyric videos, they mess up who does the lyrics a lot. Instead, try the user *sanie's* uploaded videos of the live dvd performances for an even insane-r experience (you'll see) even if in your free time. PS> They don't only have high paced songs, they have softer and ballard like songs, like MIST, TURBULENCE and EMPTY BOX to name a few. Also Inception is what made me an Atiny, as well as a random edit on tik tok of Seonghwa lol, so I appreciate your love for it n their other songs. I hope u listen to The World EP 1 full album too n try the user *sanie* on yt for the concert versions, they are OUTSTANDING. Again, thanks for reading this and getting into our Pirate/Cyberpunk/Anarchist/Boys lol🏴☠😂
I apologize. I get too excited when it comes to ATEEZ so I'm leaving so many comments. If you only listen to their MVs you'll mostly find hard-hitting songs. (Title tack songs can be more bright and soft or dark and heavy but they will still be catchy and hype.) I'd say that whenever you watch an MV from an album you should listen to all the songs on the album. It'll give you a more rounded view or vibe of the songs.
16:28 yeah most (not all) of ATEEZ's title tracks are very exciting high paced songs. Also these songs aren't from the same album, Guerilla is from The World EP.1: Movement (2022) ,Crazy Form is from The World EP.Fin : Will (2023), and the last song you reacted to Work is from their most recent album Golden Hour : Part 1 (2024) But actually a lot of their b-sides (and title tracks) have more emotional and vocally powerful lyrics so I'm looking forward to your discovery of the softer side of ATEEZ (you could listen to songs like: Turbulence mv, Treasure mv, Utopia mv, wave mv, Celebrate mv, Take Me Home performance, Eternal sunshine mv, Star 1117 performance , Dreamy Day performance, Empty Box special video, Dreamers mv and some more cause I wrote alot😭😭. OR even some of their solo covers they're amazing)
I HIGHLY suggest you watch Fever Part 1 Diary Entries and Inception's trailers before going for Inception MV. It'll be SO much easier. The Diaries and Trailers are like ATEEZ giving us bits and pieces of their story on a platter.
That’s Ateez for you. They will grab you right off the get go! Also, just saw these guys live in Chicago. They sound amazing live. Very stable, and they give 💯 from beginning to end. Very short breaks. Hongjoong plays the beginning guitar rift for Guerillas himself at the concert. He’s a badass who loves rock and metal.
You have to see the collaboration of Stray kids and Ateez. The two groups are friends, especially Changbin and Wooyoung. They perform together (and BTOB) in the Kingdom legendery war show. Their team called MAYFLY have three units, rappers (without Mingi in hiatus), dancers (without Hyunjin) and singers. These performances are amazing. The songs, Paint and Love poem are still in my playlist. Check also the Real MV, it's epic, a real gem. (song written for this occasion is like a signature). Enjoy your journey
You can watch their LIVE performance in Coachella with a LIVE BAND!! SO good!!! And Jongho really sounds like that live. He is a great vocalist. Ateez is an amazing group!!
That’s just how their sounds are, it’s their staple as a group and it’s amazing to listen to. Majority of their songs are produced by the leader of the group, hongjoong. They are all so incredibly talented.
Thank you for checking out ATEEZ , there's still no subtitles for Dingo's Killing Voice i think. For the members of ATEEZ (from left to right) Jong Ho: The youngest, the main vocalist of the group, and he's by far one of the best vocalists in this generation of K-pop San: Lead vocalist of the group and the main dancer Woo Young: The main dancer, vocalist Yeo Sang: Vocalist, lead dancer, visual of the group Hong Joong: The leader (aka The captain), rapper, producer, the 2nd oldest Yun Ho: The main dancer, vocalist Min Gi: The main rapper, main dancer, producer Seong Hwa: Vocalist, sub-rapper, the oldest ATEEZ discography is really versatile. Most of the songs on the video are their title track Hope to see more ATEEZ video from you PS. KQ is their company, they're like a big family
Ateez are revolutionaries fighting an oppressive government in a dystopian dimension. The revolution itself starts in Guerrilla, continues in Bouncy and ends in Crazy Form. Halazia is told from a pov if a citizen of that place, showing how they felt and how they asked for someone to help them (and shows Ateez replacing the original group that failed and brought them in to help).
Welcome - buckle up for the lore. You'll need some time to read all the helpful comments and then even more to process it all. It's epic, the music/the lore/the singing/the performances/the eight, all epic.
There are actually a lot of supplementary videos that explain the story better but here's the best explanation I've read to date: Ateez are pirates who were gifted that hourglass (called a chromer) which allows them to travel through time and between dimensions. At first, they are searching for treasure and having adventures, but eventually they run into these bad guys who have chains where their faces should be. The bad guys are from dimension Z, whereas Ateez is from dimension A which is presumably where we are as well. But there is another version of Ateez from Dimension Z called the Black Pirates (aka Halateez) who are the enemies of the no face guys. At first Ateez teams up with Halateez to fight against the no face guys. (They are the ones in the black hats in the MVs for Answer, Say My Name, and Hala Hala.) but eventually something happens and Halateez disappear (I'm not totally clear on this part) and Ateez ends up in dimension Z instead of Halateez. What they discover is that the (no face) guys are in charge of the government and they have brainwashed everyone in Dimension Z to have no emotions so that they can be controlled. Ateez sets up a subversive movement to take down the corrupt government and restore emotion to the people. To do this they use propaganda in the Guerrilla music video and chili peppers in the Bouncy music video. (Because apparently people can feel the burn of the spicy chilies and that helps reconnect them to feeling. They also smuggle weapons in the chilis). In this current episode (Crazy Form mv) they need to finish taking down the government and get the heck out of Dodge. But the chromer is broken. It broke at the end of the Deja Vu music video so how are they supposed to leave? I think this is what Yunho and Wooyoung are working on in the lab. Meanwhile Jongho and Mingi break into the lounge where the high government officials do their business and start shooting things up. They other members are being rounded up by the government but they just have to wait till Jongho kills the leader and Wooyoung wraps up their plan for getting home. If you notice that in the beginning scene there is a crescent moon and in the final scene a full moon. Ateez can only travel on the full moon. In the extra scene at the end you see the full moon, but the pirate ship and presumably Ateez as well are gone even though they left the broken chromer in Dimension Z. In the song Halazia, Yeosang has a line, "little blue bird that list it's voice." I think they are using this as a metaphor for the people that lost their emotions (if you examine the other lyrics of Halazia.) At the end of Crazy Form you can clearly hear the bluebird singing as it takes to the sky. I assume this means that the bluebird found its voice and the people found their lost emotions. But without the chromer to help them travel will they be able to get back to Dimension A or will their new ship take them somewhere unexpected
That voice that is super powerful is my man Jongho ❤ literally the best vocalist imo of all time. If you want a sneak peak to ateez in studio, raw and live with no copyright issues (because ive seen so many full reactions to it without issue) is Ateez's Killing Voice i promise you'll enjoy hearing sneak peaks to so many of their songs! ❤
I heard people say the story of this video is Similar to the movie/ book 1984 about a futuristic distopian society where the government outlaws music, art dancing and any kind of emotion or feelings, and the government is always watching everything you do.
With ateez their music has a variety of paces, they have fast pace and slower pace songs but the thing they all have in common is the full masterful incorporation of the adlibs and the harmonies and the meaningful lyrics.
This is my favorite video and then Halazia they came from a small agency and from my understanding they KQ agency first boy group They took a chance on these young men because they saw potential in them. Even the owner of the company put up his own money to send them to LA to practice more on dancing I have been watching them since they debut and since the first time I saw them, they hit me with something that I was looking for but couldn’t find until I found them for me. They were just on another level. They were the total package so this is why I call when people see them. The reaction they get is the Ateez affect which was the same for me the first time I saw them and been with them ever since my number one group me
Thank you for reacting to Ateez. Enjoyed watching this! If you want to watch more of their anthemic title tracks, you can check out Halazia (2022), Wonderland (2019). They debuted in 2018 with double title tracks - Pirate King & Treasure. Ateez is a very versatile grp with a diverse, NO-SKIP discography. They can do fast-paced anthems, they can also do emotional, soft ballads . They are amazing stage performers. I actually expect them (or some of them) to explore musical theatre further in their career.
You should react to Red Sun by Xikers. Their rap line (they have 3 rappers) really shines in that song. Also, Xikers are from the same company as ATEEZ and Hongjoong helps writes Xikers' songs.
I LOVED YOUR REACTION TO OUR BOYS!! I AM A HARDCORE ATINY AND ALWAYS ENJOY NEW CONTENT TO THEM AND YOU REALLY SEEMED TO ENJOY THEM AND THEREFORE I WILL NOW FOLLOW YOU!! WELCOME TO THE BEST GROUP AROUND!! ❤❤❤❤
Ateez I just saw live for the first time and live they have just as much energy and skill they sing 💯 % live never lip sync while doing high intensity dance too I highly recommend listening to their full live performances at Cochella I have the full official videos
I can't even tell you how LOUD it gets at the concert when the fans chant BREAK THAT WALL. Seeing them live is amazing. Mingi i feel like he never loses enegy and jongho's vocals are amazing. They are a fun group and i live their vibe. I think my bias is Seonghwa just because i can't stop watching him when he performs just like hyunjin and i don't know what it is. However they are all wreaking me in some way. I knew their personalities before i stated listening to their music. Watching wooyoung and changbin being besties and also the loud troublemakers of their groups is hilarious. Say my name, deja vu, and wonderland are great to check out too. Halazia is my favorite!
It all relates back to their Lore. It’s a lot, but in a nutshell the song is essentially them raising a Guerilla army to fight against a government that has outlawed emotion, music, and expression. I’m excited for you to discover more of them!
I haven't been into ateez much compared to a few years ago but I absolutely love Guerilla IT'S SOO GOOD your reaction to it so relatable 😭 another favorite song from them is a b-side, "Wake Up" which is in the same album as "Bouncy" AN ACTUAL MASTERPIECE 😫 I love that song so much ‼️
Yes, and most definitely check out their KQ fellas performance videos there’s three of them and then Yunho has a solo one and check out Wooyoung artist of the month performance. This will show you just how sink and how well they dance. This is why all other idols look up to them for their dance for their performance for their singing and stage presence like I said top-tier total package group perfect 10 for me look forward to more of your videos will subscribe
Thanks for the reacts. The ending parts of the mvs are lore based but they also function as teasers for the next mv. You probably didn't notice but the anarchy symbol was in Guerrilla and Crazy Form. The class scene in Guerrilla is basically akin to government brain washing and Ateez were telling people to break that wall as in don't listen to them. The storyline is in depth. In Crazy form, you may have missed the masked man in the TV that explodes. He's the white masked man because he wears white outfits. You will see him in Answer mv, Fireworks and live stage at Kingdom competition. In Answer and Say My Name you will see both versions of Ateez, normal Ateez and Halateez. I recommend Hala Hala full performance mv, it's dance based and there's a Hala Hala 3D teaser. I also recommend Win (live), Thanxx, DejaVu, Fireworks and Inception. Since the mvs are lore based, the dance practices will show more choreo. Also, as trainees Ateez were KQFellaz and have dance covers. KQFellaz2 is Ateez little brother group but their debut name is xikers. They're also great. I recommend Red Sun and Tricky House.
heyyyy! I’m too lazy to scroll trough the comments to see what people told you already so I’ll just give you the basic information. (Sorry for the long comment) Ateez (pronounced a-tease) is a 8 member kpop group from kq ent. It’s a relatively new company. KQ was co-founded by another entertainment and ateez was the first group to directly debut under their agency. They went viral even before debut with their “kq fellaz performance videos” but the hype eventually died down. At the beginning they struggled a lot but they eventually had their first breakthrough around one year after they debuted. They started to get a bit more recognition after dropping their mv for “wonderland” and gained even more recognition after participating in the survival show kingdom, where they impressed fans and non fans with their amazing live performances. I’d say their real breakthrough was guerrilla (2022, 4 years after debut). Since then, their mvs gain a lot of views and their recent comebacks have been doing extremely well. Ateez is extremely hard working and even though most of their songs are hard and anthem like, they’re amazing people off camera and extremely soft hearted. I’d love to see you react to one of the detailed, updated guides one day! I won’t get into the lore in this comment since i already typed a lot but i can get into it next time! For now I’ll give you some names of the members with time stamps so you can learn their faces and then stop rambling 😭 15:56 hongjoong, he’s their captain, or group leader 14:39 seonghwa 13:09 yunho 15:27 yeosang 13:01 san 13:16 mingi 14:04 wooyoung 14:32 jongho (the one hitting all those insane high notes in guerrilla and all their other songs honestly 😭)
All of their MV are related to their concept as a group, which is pirates (in the beginning of their career the pirate vibes were much more predominant but in time they evolved into something greater). Every MV tells a part of the story they want to tell, basically every MV has a piece of lore and it's up to us Atinys (the name of the fandom) to put all the pieces together to create a puzzle. Not all of their songs are hype and fast paced, the title tracks lean more to that side (with some lighter and slower songs) but the vast majority of their b-sides are slower songs, because Ateez is a group that frequently explore their softer and more sentimental side. As the next song I definitely recommend Halazia like some other people already said, because it's connected to Guerrilla (the little teaser at the end of Guerrilla was in fact Halazia). As a future recommendation I definitely suggest you to react to their performance on Killing Voice, that's an excellent entry point to their discography, and it will also be an opportunity to hear their outstanding vocals. Ateez are widely known as performance kings, but they are also excellent singers and the aforementioned video focuses only on their beautiful vocals.
The voice you keep complimenting in Guerrilla is Jongho - the maknae (youngest) of the group. His range is enormous and it's incredibly powerful as well. That's not even as high as he can go: Symphony No. 9 - From the Wonderland is a good example. The repeated "Break the Wall" at the end of Guerrilla has become a favorite fan chant - and Atiny (the fandom: a mix of Ateez and destiny - and rhymes with destiny) get LOUD. It was loud enough at Coachella that it could be heard on the live streams for 2 of the stages on the other side of the festival.
Please react to more Ateez. My personal recommendations are : bouncy, wonderland, hala hala, answer, thanxx, wave, fireworks, deja vu, say my name, treasure, pirate king.
Ooooh.. ❤a second reaction to ATEEZ?.. Subscribing! 🥰 OK, so you asked a few questions in this and in the previous reaction, and I apologize if someone answered before me (no time to read it all): 1. ATEEZ is an 8-member group from KQ entertainment and they were their first group to release on the market, which speaks volumes about the talent both of ATEEZ and KQ staff. Hence, the video perfection. Side note: they didn't event have the funds to do that properly early in the beginning, so it is that more impressive. 2. ATEEZ are known to be the 4-gen kings of performance and they are the first boy group to have been invited to Coachella this summer. If you enjoy their dancing, it makes sense to check out some of their dance practices, I suggest the Guerrilla one and the Halazia one. 3. The lore: ATEEZ as a group has quite the intricate lore behind all music, lyrics, videos.. So, to answer your question why you don't follow what they are singing about - it's because it is related to the lore. Lore: there is universe A (our universe) and universe Z (where we meet the doppelgangers of ATEEZ). They are called respectively Halateez and the name derives from another song/album "Hearts Awaken Live Alive", HALA. Universe Z is ruled by a strict totalitarian government which has forbidden all "fun" - art, music, love, and mainly feelings. So, Halateez travel time (via a sand clock called "the chromer") and come to ATEEZ in universe A to ask for help to overturn the government in universe Z. "Guerrilla" is a song about that (the revolution). So is "Halazia". 4. You will find that each video ATEEZ release has ending scenes - these give us info on the development of the story line. 5. Next videos to react to: I would suggest Wonderland, Halazia, Answer. 6. If you'd like to distinguish their voices better, I suggest you check out the "Killing voice" they released about 2 months ago. It is also a nice way to hear snippets of their discography and pick songs you would like to check out next. 7. If you'd like to know more about them, about KQ, the lore and the music, you could check out one of the two guides for this group. Both guides are awesome and both contain a bit of detail that the other does not have.
I saw you're a rap fan so I recommend you the song MATZ. It's a sub-unit rap song composed of Seonghwa and Hongjoong, I also recommend you Wonderland, Fireworks, Blind, Say my name (all ateez's songs actually) + Don't hesitate to check out an Ateez guide to memorize members's names and please DO MORE ATEEZ REACTIONS !! XD
to answer a question you asked directly: no, not all Ateez songs are fast-paced and high-intensity, though many are. There are several that are lighter intensity (Promise or Aurora, for example), and several that are much slower pace (Empty Box or Not Too Late, for example).
The fanchant goes so HARD live for this song lol
I know right!! It sounded crazy in coachella
I don't think I will ever get over the clip when someone is outside of the concert in the streets and you can hear it!!
In the first scene, did you hear some kind of radio broadcasting sound? It said: "The disease is human emotions."
This MV is set in the dystopian parallel universe called World Z where emotions and all forms of art are banned in order to make a variables free perfect world.
The broadcast actually says ‘There is a disease in the heart of man, the disease is human emotion.’
@@Rika_tiny yup, the whole Z dimension is based on Equilibrium, and by extension on 1989 and Fahrenheit 451 (the latest adaptation of Fahrenheit was an inspiration for some views in the XR concert)
And that backdrop with big GUERRILLA letters is an homage to a famous Metropolis poster.
Ateez has 8 members!
Guerrilla:
2:02 is Hongjoong, he is the leader, but is called the captain
3:08 is Yunho
3:29 is Yeosang
3:36 is Seonghwa, he is the oldest
4:09 is San, with the blonde hair
4:53 is Jongho in the center, he is the youngest and the one that does the high notes
6:01 is Mingi
7:15 is Wooyoung
Crazy Form:
13:01 is San, with the red hair
13:08 is Yunho
13:45 is Mingi
14:31 is Jongho
14:40 is Seonghwa
15:26 is Yeosang
15:55 is Hongjoong
17:20 is Wooyoung
16:20, yes, they have a lot of fast paced songs, it's their style, especially their title tracks, but they also have slower songs which are also really good!
In the end of their songs, they usually give us a snippet of the sound of the next comeback, or they give us a piece of their lore, which is very complicated.
Other great title tracks you can check out are:
Wonderland
Halazia
Answer
Thanxx
Hala hala
Fireworks (I'm the one)
The real (흥 version)
Bouncy
Turbulence
And there are a lot more awesome songs to check out, but I listed some of the more popular ones.
(Cromer will be mentioned throughout their discography A LOT.) Cromer can help them travel between worlds on full moon(the reason there was a full moon in the end of the song must have been cleared now.)
And when the moon is in crescent, Cromer can send messages between worlds through dreams.
This song is so 'crazy' because they wanna show this long oppressed world to live freely with their emotions now.
Not every scene really fits in the storyline and some parts contradict each other a lot but those things are to be considered later. Or you might get lost in it all ^^
next halazia and bouncy 🎉
He's already done Bouncy, it's coming in a separate video.
Halazia, yess

The clue is in the name. They are guerillas fighting against the oppression of human emotions in a world where music is banned (hence the huge speaker at the start) .
I am a Stay, but I ducking love Ateez and Atiny so much!! They are so good, hard-working and talented.
ATEEZ! Hell yea, so many good Ateez songs pirate king , halazia , wave , utopia, answer, inception, cyberpunk

Halazia next 😊 Check out Dingo Killing Voice of Ateez episode, the great intro to see their vocals & music
You should watch the live performance of crazy form, they absolutely kill it 🔥🔥🔥
Before you watch the Kingdom:Legendary War episodes you might want to watch the Ateez guide as well. Since both Ateez and Stray Kids are in Kingdom and it might be nice to know in advance why their performances are always Pirate themed and have an hourglass in them. Why Ateez’ Woo Young acts like that towards Changbin and Felix, and also to prepare yourself mentally for Jongho.
you have to react to them on killing voice , they are amazing
Ateez time lets gooo🙌🏽
So yes, Ateez has a lot of lore & a whole storyline with themes of multiple dimensions, post-apocalyptic worlds, & anarchy, with Ateez themselves having a pirate concept, so all of those little scenes at the end of the mvs have to do with their storyline.
Very good vocals and i loved their rendition of hellavator
yes! a heavy, rock/metal sound with a super quirky feel, and a fun switch up from standard kpop dancing/singing. and their vocals are a CAN’T MISS.
When you said you love their dancing I had to say this: Watch their KQ Fellaz Performance videos! There are 4 dance performances (covers) released before their debut with one of them being a solo for the main dancer, Yunho. (Although all of them are main dancers to be honest!)
13:33 into your reaction is Yunho and it's called a vocal flip! Very hard to do. I like that you picked up on that!
They also have their own show called Ateez Wanteez (which if you want to get to know their individual personalities I suggest you watch)
Like I said at the top I've been a atiny since they debuted back in 2018 which also happened to be the same year Skz also debut, their company is KQ which isnt part of the big 4 entertainment companies in south Korea,.
You need Halazia in your life next. It’s ATEEZ’s *chef’s kiss*
yes! halazia- absolutely the most stunning, dramatic video. it makes my heart just stutter and then soar every time.
This is for Crazy Form MV:
Please note, the endings of their songs contain teasers or connections to the lore.
Seonghwa(pronounced Song wha) The oldest- with dark long hair n the corset or the crown of thorns n sash (looking like a statue of liberty for their lore as it ties into freedom) he's a vocalist & visual, insane performer and kinda like a mom (but bullied most of the time by woosan) he's also a lowkey rapper & a part of the demon line (you'll see what we mean) if you see atinys calling him Mother, its an inside joke😭
Hongjoong (pronounced Hong June/ soft g)- the Captain, he's the one with "get up" and on top the car teasing the police.
(he was paired with wooyoung for this mv),
Yeosang (yoh sang)- (fluffy green n brown hair, looking like a cheshire cat, doing the "taki taki dance" part) hes also a Visual but also a unique (Deep and soothing) Vocalist, Performer (stares into your soul, but is just a little munchkin boi), likes to be called a doberman lol.
(Title tack songs can be more bright and soft or dark and heavy but they will still be catchy and hype.)
I'd say that whenever you watch an MV from an album you should listen to all the songs on the album. It'll give you a more rounded view or vibe of the songs.
I will never get all of the Ateez lore, but that's ok. Still recovering from their concert, it was phenomenal!
16:28 yeah most (not all) of ATEEZ's title tracks are very exciting high paced songs. Also these songs aren't from the same album, Guerilla is from The World EP.1: Movement (2022) ,Crazy Form is from The World EP.Fin : Will (2023), and the last song you reacted to Work is from their most recent album Golden Hour : Part 1 (2024)
But actually a lot of their b-sides (and title tracks) have more emotional and vocally powerful lyrics so I'm looking forward to your discovery of the softer side of ATEEZ (you could listen to songs like: Turbulence mv, Treasure mv, Utopia mv, wave mv, Celebrate mv, Take Me Home performance, Eternal sunshine mv, Star 1117 performance , Dreamy Day performance, Empty Box special video, Dreamers mv and some more cause I wrote alot😭😭.
Please react to Ateez Killing voice it’s good to watch if your new to Ateez.
Oh you're going to have a great time with ateez. They literally do not have a bad song.
For the members of ATEEZ (from left to right)
Jong Ho: The youngest, the main vocalist of the group, and he's by far one of the best vocalists in this generation of K-pop
San: Lead vocalist of the group and the main dancer
Woo Young: The main dancer, vocalist
Yeo Sang: Vocalist, lead dancer, visual of the group
Hong Joong: The leader (aka The captain), rapper, producer, the 2nd oldest
Yun Ho: The main dancer, vocalist
Min Gi: The main rapper, main dancer, producer
Seong Hwa: Vocalist, sub-rapper, the oldest
ATEEZ discography is really versatile. Most of the songs on the video are their title track
Hope to see more ATEEZ video from you
PS.
You should check out their Guerrilla and Crazy Form Dance practice🫠
Will blown your mind 🤯
But without the chromer to help them travel will they be able to get back to Dimension A or will their new ship take them somewhere unexpected
i love how you noticed that guerrilla and crazy form share the same aesthetic since they are from the same trilogy 👏🏻
And you'll hear Jongho full force he will blow you away
Oh and they have so many slow songs and beautiful ballads and feel good songs too❤
I heard people say the story of this video is Similar to the movie/ book 1984 about a futuristic distopian society where the government outlaws music, art dancing and any kind of emotion or feelings, and the government is always watching everything you do.
Even the owner of the company put up his own money to send them to LA to practice more on dancing
I have been watching them since they debut and since the first time I saw them, they hit me with something that I was looking for but couldn’t find until I found them for me. They were just on another level. They were the total package so this is why I call when people see them. The reaction they get is the Ateez affect which was the same for me the first time I saw them and been with them ever since my number one group me
Welcome to Ateez World 🥳👏
Thank you for reacting to Ateez.
So happy the video went up! Amazing reaction as always ❤
I think you'd like MATZ
appreciating Yunho's vocals in crazy form🫶🫶🫶🫶
ATEEZ!!! Once again love that you're enjoying these groups and your reactions!!
You really should watch guerilla on Coachella!! ATEEZ always go wild live, but that live was smth else
It all relates back to their Lore. It’s a lot, but in a nutshell the song is essentially them raising a Guerilla army to fight against a government that has outlawed emotion, music, and expression. I’m excited for you to discover more of them!
I haven't been into ateez much compared to a few years ago but I absolutely love Guerilla IT'S SOO GOOD your reaction to it so relatable 😭 another favorite song from them is a b-side, "Wake Up" which is in the same album as "Bouncy" AN ACTUAL MASTERPIECE 😫 I love that song so much ‼️
When i see something about ateez, i watch it😂❤
oh hell yeah Ateez
Even their b-side is a BLAST! They seriously have no skip!
I see ATEEZ i click 🏴☠️
Thanks for reacting to Ateez 😊looking forward to more Ateez reactions 😁👍
thats just the ATEEZ sound, welcome to the fandom :)
Thank you for your Ateez reactions. I saw that you liked their dancing you should check out their dance practice they go very hard.
ATEEZ's 'Guerrilla' MV looks incredible
If you want to watch their live guerilla performance + dance + COACHELLA version. It will blow your mind.
(Sorry for the long comment)
Ateez (pronounced a-tease) is a 8 member kpop group from kq ent.
For now I’ll give you some names of the members with time stamps so you can learn their faces and then stop rambling 😭
15:56 hongjoong, he’s their captain, or group leader
14:39 seonghwa
13:09 yunho
15:27 yeosang
13:01 san
13:16 mingi
14:04 wooyoung
14:32 jongho (the one hitting all those insane high notes in guerrilla and all their other songs honestly 😭)
You should watch the 'killing voice' of Ateez, they are sooo good singing live! Its so worth it!!
There's 8 members
8 makes 1 team!!!✨❤💕💖😁
I'm so excited!!
The trailers at the end is usually the preview of next video. Every video is connected to the next.
If you are a rap fan, you will definitely like their song Matz! It’s full rap. And they have no bad songs, so wish you will do more reaction to them😊
Please react to more Ateez. My personal recommendations are : bouncy, wonderland, hala hala, answer, thanxx, wave, fireworks, deja vu, say my name, treasure, pirate king.
I LOVE ATEEZ!!!💖💕❤✨
And its pronounce Ate-Teez
ATEEZ's '미친 폼 (Crazy Form)' MV looks cool
React to HALAZIA pleaseee its a masterpiece
Their slow paced songs are hidden gems
waiting for more ateez reaction!! 🫡
Ooooh.. ❤a second reaction to ATEEZ?.. Subscribing! 🥰 OK, so you asked a few questions in this and in the previous reaction, and I apologize if someone answered before me (no time to read it all):
Both guides are awesome and both contain a bit of detail that the other does not have.
based on your reactions, i cant wait til you get to Ateez Killing Voice & Ateez KQFellas predebut dance performances
Thank you for your reaction, Halazia next please
