Sasha Cohen skates at Rockefeller Rink in New York City

Sasha Cohen missed Skate America and Trophee Eric Bompard due to tendinitis in her right calf but that didn't mean she was sitting pretty at home in California. A few days after Skate America was over, Sasha made an appearance at Rockefeller Rink in New York City for a corporate event. No "performance" per se -- she got out on the ice and skated around while a medley of Frank Sinatra music played in the background.

I completely agree. Pure talent wise, she is one of the best to ever do it, and I don't think that basic ability has gone away just because she hasn't competed in awhile.
