Ive seen this thin attacks lately according to weebunion, first in Torersk, and then in more and more places. With flanks totally opened, but they have been able to keep their positions like a week or so, and the starting to consolidate their flanks. My guess, it looks like ukraine has to little manpower or weapons, to make any real counterattacks in many areas at the moment?
Then they isolate the Ukrainians by and large west of that river. Ukraine can still relocate south, but thats a long haul from the northern and northwestern positions. On the flip side, Russia will not be able to push across the river, dividing their own forces. On the other hand, it also denie Ukraine any good chances of counter-attacking out of Malaya Lokna to the west. So I think Ukraine will fall back pretty soon to defend the river, unless they launch some form of move to counter Russias current gains.
