This is the happiest I've felt watching cs in years. It's so incredibly cool to see a team that’s been on the consensus short end of player purchases rebuild, not around "stars", but as a unit. These guys deserve the world, and none more so than Hunter. Against all odds, G2 are better than ever

@gli7chy saw, ash and sycrone literally made rosters from scratch, ash should be transferred to a better team than gamerlegion and i think there would be quite the fight for the goat coach, also blade is great, but the talent of matys is undoubtable, hunter is fragging like crazy as well, g2 fan since late 2021 and honestly this roster surprised me, falcons need a better coach to help niko and monesy cope with stress and losses better, cus zonic is definitely not helping either in tactics or anything else well enough
@ziemniak0killl2idk what it is but navi’s leadership seems to be lacking. It’s clear the team itself doesn’t fit together well, even though they did a year ago, but I feel either aleksi or blade isn’t a good fit for the team. IMO the only deadweight on that squad is wonderfull, the rest should be top of the line. They should’ve shown better results by now. Makazze isn’t a nobody pickup, nor are b1t and iM for players

The fact that he led them to victory over Karrigan, Fallen, and Apex cannot be overlooked. That's three of the best to ever do it right there and he beat them all.

@Ezek6963 dude, when I say they carried I don't mean to downplay the other players performance. But if you think they didn't carry, you are absolutely delusional or you didn't watch the game. The number of important rounds won by these two in this BO was just insane.

That round 24 on Inferno and the first round of OT were peak G2. Getting down and just leaning on the ability to shoot heads and force your way out of a bad situation. So great to see Hunter excelling as an IGL.

in train g2 moved like ghosts, suddenly appearing and disappearing, especially delaying those engagements as CTs pressuring mistakes from Vitality.

If you saw a V Cat plushie and a dude with a Padres cap and DHL bag on Saturday and Sunday (though I was there on Friday as well without both) that was me and y'all who I talked to from the Nova Shots folks to the security, the fans sitting and at the end standing around us by Maps 4 and 5 on Sunday to the chats with the M80 guys after the Grand Final, from the bottom of my heart thank you all for making this event unforgettable.
Also I hope everyone survived the tube strikes on Sunday and Monday lmfao.

I couldn't be more lucky for this to be my first event I ever attended, what a cinema match! Although if I had to pick match of the year it has to be iem melbourne grand final. That last map had me jumping around screaming haha

Every game was wild
- Dust 2 was G2 disassembling Vitality.
- Mirage felt like the Zywoo show and then all of Vita started to slowly awake.
- Overpass was Vita's wildcard
- Inferno was a huge comeback and momentum G2 needed for Train.
- And ending on Train, where G2 somehow beat it out.
Amazing from both teams, and I am glad to see hunter win it. Matys and HeavyGod need tons of respect for their amazing performances as well.
And huge respect for Saw on coach.
