Well I appreciate this man taking time to make these videos I've been to lanzarote many times but for people who haven't they will find this helpful alot of people struggling to get a holiday with the price of living going rapidly through the roof because greedy energy companies robbing us blind

Hi Kev, love the vids. Just checked into an apartment ""Apartmentos Capellina", just above the Asian Sun. First class, spotless, and well appointed. Great view of the sun going down and nice n quiet.

Great vid as always. Did you ever come across hotel lanzarote village? It's supposed to be at the end of the strip on the left but I have never seen it and thinking of going there. We normally stay in the old town.

I have never been but actually been looking at holidays there. That Tropical is awful we drank it in Gran Canaria bloody horrible stuff

Well Mr jock , got here yesterday afternoon and absolutely pissing down with rain , went for a Indian and it came with a cockroach 🪳🙈🙈🙈 but today the sun ☀️ is shining and we are in the hot tub #Baobabsuites .

The Hideaway Bar Europa Centre Puerto Rico GC still do a Euro pint. The other €1 bars have gone to €1.50. Great wee bar.

We were in PDC in September and was amazed how cheap the food and drinks were. We've just come back from Torremolinos and their prices are more than PDC,but still cheaper than the UK..rip of Britain comes to mind! great vlog Kevin, nice to see a few of the bars we ventured in
You voted for Brexit. You asked for high prices!
Import costs, customs red tape, lack of lorry drivers, delays at Brexit borders (due to Brexit red tape), lack of workers and particularly crop pickers (often due to fewer EU workers), etc. All are added on costs to British goods reflected in the UK having one of the highest inflations in Europe, despite (as the Tories liked to brag about) not relying on Russian gas as heavily as many other EU countries did. We officially have the highest electricity bills in the world...despite not relying on Russian gas! The one elephant in the room, the one glaring mistake that stands out like a sore thumb is Brexit.
Many a Brexit voter said they were fine with higher prices and lower productivity. economy So, enjoy!

@@codyjarrett9685 Enjoy your time in PDC in Feb.I easily understand Kevins accent ,as I had a 2 partners from the Glasgow area, and I lived in Glasgow in the early '70's,the locals are so friendly and kind.
Looks nice there Kev ,we always stay at Playa Blanca and always walk down to the Rubicon Harbour area at night .But would like to Give that area a try . I suppose we always play it safe . We always do the tour around Timanfaya national park as well .😁😁👍👍

Really enjoying your videos of Lanzarote Kevin. I'm off to Playa Blanca in July. Been there a few times aswell as Costa Teguise. Not tried PDC but driven through a few times. I can definitely recommend El Gofo if you have access to a car, aswell as Teguise(not Costa Teguise) which is a bit more inland. Both nice places to chill out and spend a few hours.

Quite enjoy a pint of tropical or dorada in Lanza. You must visit The Island Bar in the Old Town for live music. Great place.

We went to Serenity when we were off a couple of weeks ago Kevin there’s 7 jacuzzis on the roof we did a jacuzzi & drinks package it was €85 for 2 hours & you got 2 cocktails included in the price we then went down into the restaurant for a meal it was absolutely outstanding would highly recommend 👍🏻

Just back Tuesday had a cracking week, go to serenity for a fantastic night not cheap but amazing food. Stayed I jables Bermuda a totally underrated hotel.

If you like steak look at Universo restuarant down from your apartments and go right just after Mulligans... Mark had t bone steak lush 22 euro... We blew the budget that night and the next night it was incredible food and the staff amazing... But very busy. Oh god take us back... Such a great place PDC xx
I too had 2 tbones in the universo, at 17.50 on offer. Best steaks I've ever had for the money .

I do like Puerto Del Carmen but there are way way too many eateries and not enough bars or pubs . It can get boring after 2 or 3 nights .

Have you ever been to the smaller Canary Islands Kevin or have you just been to the bigger ones ie Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, ??
Just big ones not enough videos to do in small ones.
All that to say the beer has gone up !!!!! Try promoting things away from brit bars and booze culture of brits abroad, The island has a lot more to offer. I enjoy your channel though.

Great videos. But if you’re in PDC the best restaurant by far is right down by playa chica called Lomo Alto.

Why is everything based on how much things cost? Does it really matter as long as you are enjoying yourself. Surely when you go on holiday its all about forgetting things back home? Perhaps its just a Scottish thing!
No it's not a Scottish thing, most people want value for their hard earned money, if you want to throw your money around that's your business.

I lived there back in 1998 to 2012 thats when they had wonderful Local Spanish Restaurants and Cafe,s , Baker,s of fresh Bread 🥖, Lovely Local Artists shops , ETC , Now its British style Pubs, Tourists Ready Meal Restaurants, and Kiss me Quick Hats and T,Shirts … Its Awful …. How its changed because UK Tourists want Blackpool style Places abroad… Cheap and Nasty…… Thank Goodness i left for the Cayman Islands .
