    Holy crap that was great. I knew it was going to be good from the other video you posted but that really exceeded my expectations. Plus, I agree with you on the language thing. You don't really notice it, but when you do, it flows really nicely.

    That's that new hotness, and I agree with in the point of not paying attention to realizing there wasn't any english cause that was dope.

  • @yedigemagavin1694

    Ninety One is a big one here, really. You should also watch Black Dial, Newton or Ayumi, they're great too. As for the soloists... There some in the Q Pop scene but I'll strongly recommend Dimash Kudaibergen. He is an amazing vocalist. You should watch his cover performances, especially Adagio because you might be familiar with this song by Lara Fabian :)
    As for the feedback... We're not speaking Turkish. Surely there are Turkish-Kazakh schools, but there are also a German-Kazakh and a polylingual ones. It's not really a massive practice tho. There are like one or two in my city ^^
    Mostly we speak Kazakh and Russian. And young people also study and speak English.
    Anyways, thanks for the reaction ^^ We appreciate it a lot.

  • @MrBabylonandon
    @MrBabylonandon 7 лет назад +5

    That actually was pretty impressive. Those guys kick ass and you know how much I'm NOT into guy groups.
    You are right - languages have a flow and some of them are way better for this kind of music than others. My wife and I discussed this at length and their are some languages that just can't do certain kinds of music well. Certain kinds of pronunciations don't work for faster or harder music. English is really good for about everything because it scales do to the simplicity of its use of tongue, teeth, and lips to make words. Korean is really great for this as its words are mostly short and work the front of the mouth to make sounds. Japanese is better for rock and roll because its harder consonants work really well for the hard vocals of rock. Hindi is really good and Arabic isn't too bad, either. Sounds like Qazahq is the same way.
    Tagalog (Filipino), Thai, and to some extent Chinese and their ilk are not as good for rock and pop because a lot of their words use "gutterals" (the back of the tongue) and "nasals" (formed kind of in the sinus) - and Tagalog has the German flair for using massive words that are basically a whole sentence in one word ... THAT doesn't flow well when you are trying to sing a fast song. They are better for ballads where the singing is longer and slower and emotional expression is the focus.

    • @MrBabylonandon
      @MrBabylonandon 6 лет назад +1

      To be honest - I don't much about it having never been exposed. I will check it out. I suspect that both Korean and Japanese PROBABLY have some basis in the same origins of language as Mongolian if my memory of history is working right at all.
      I was stationed in Japan for 4 1/2 years, and I've spent enough time in the Mideast, Thailand, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, and of course the Philippines (wife is a Filipina) to get a feeling for what the language and music styles are like. Spent a little time in Bali, too - not a lot though. I was also into Bollywood stuff for a while and have spent hours listening to their various styles. The Indians know how to throw down some tracks.
      Watching the Mongolian stuff should be interesting - like Will, I love new cultural experiences. Thank you.

      I have an odd one for you to react to if you want to try, it is the four trailers to an American Anime, they are all basically music videos with a bit of story.
      I think you would love them or hate them, lol You can watch, then throw the video out if you don't like it. I know it isn't the type of thing you usually react to.
      It is a show called RWBY, made by Rooster Teeth in Austin TX. The name is pronounced Ruby.
      It had four trailers Red, White, Black, and Yellow, the first was more of a test of the animation software, so is just action to a cool song, it was done by a guy named Monty Oum in about two weeks by himself.
      The others have some story, look a little better, and have some more meat, they had a few more staff working on them. They all have a great soundtrack sung by Casey Lee Williams who was 14 at the time. They are very reactor friendly by the way.
      Red; ruclips.net/video/pYW2GmHB5xs/видео.html
      White; ruclips.net/video/Vt9vl8iAN5Q/видео.html
      Black; ruclips.net/video/ImKCt7BD4U4/видео.html
      Yellow; ruclips.net/video/QCw_aAS7vWI/видео.html
      Edit, also on the 17th Solar from Mamamoo is releasing a small album, I think it is mostly remakes of old classic songs, she is releasing it online and on cassette tapes of all things. www.allkpop.com/article/2017/10/mamamoos-solar-teases-for-her-5th-solars-emotion-release

    Yeah I ran across "Q-Pop" a little while ago as well. So, is "GAKKU" the only channel they have or something? LOL I actually did watch one of GAKKU's live streams on RUclips and they had some pretty sweet songs. But it was frustrating because I know neither Russian nor Kazahk and when I wanted to look up songs that caught my interest, I was like _"Wait, what was that? Ok H, C, backwards R, weird squiggly small b, O with a line through it, impaled X, that thing that looks like a Space Invader....FUCK!!"_
    I've seen these few from a couple of those "My Favorite Q-Pop" type YT vids: "Батыр Байназаров - Өкінем" (T1pEaW2Y4TA I think this one's my current favorite Q-Pop song), "ӘН-GIMME: Ayree" (Ht8V1hGZtO0 a note about this one....the actual video's only the first 3:57 of the YT vid. The rest is this long ass monologue by the singer), "Айдана Меденова - Су" (8ZY8fbvniws), "Ayree & Aray Aydarhan - Қинама мені" (yy15uw0lDYQ), and "Камшат Жолдыбаева - Тағы да сүй (OST Брат или Брак)" (SH0XWwgss1o this one's got a Latin flavor for whatever reasons). Check them out if you haven't seen them yet!

    Fat guy’s name is RIFAT SULTANBEKOV (I think more than)..23 years. “Almaty Translator by training. After university, he lived in Africa for a year, studied French and worked at the French embassy. He knows 4 languages: Russian, English, French, Turkish. Before the project he worked in a pet store. Dances from 19 years. “Dance is my outlet, this is where I feel open, sure, I can show my mood in dance. When I dance, I feel like a free man. To get to the final, I forgot about all the prejudices, scored on their complexes. ” Among the finalists Rifat is friends with Zhanbolat and Sasha. Believes that all finalists are strong. After the project wants to stay in the dance area. He wants to go to the USA for master classes. In 2013, he left dance because he did not feel the strong emotions that were at the beginning. Creative crisis lasted 2 years. In 2015, a famous dancer from the USA arrived in Kazakhstan, having come to him at a master class, he again caught fire with dance. Rifat is one of the first dancers in Kazakhstan who danced in the style of wacking. At the very beginning, he could not prove it, then he won the Championship in the Kyrgyz Republic. According to him, dancers who dance in Kazakhstan are not friendly with each other, he considers all competitors.
